Leviticus 7 Includes the details of the law(תּוֹרַ֖ת)[2] concerning several types of Corban(offerings or oblations).[3]All the offering or oblations according to Moses were to be by freewill, voluntary.[4] In the Greek text of the New Testament the word κορβαν appears twice. once translated Corban and treasury[5] even though in the Old Testament it is translated offering 68 times an oblation 12 times. If these offerings were burnt up by fire then what was in the treasury?
The offerings collected by Cain, Nimrod, Abimelech, Bera and Pharaoh were compelled by law. The people were human resources and subject to their rulers as possessions or merchandise.
Chapter 7 covers the guilt (or reparation/trespass) offering,[6] portions for the priests from various offerings, rules about fellowship/peace offerings including thanksgiving,[7] vows, and freewill choice. [8]
Also there are cryptic prohibitions about eating fat and blood, and the priests' specific shares (breast and right thigh). The chapter ends with a summary of the sacrificial laws given to Moses.
Genesis 20: 1 "And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled (וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב)[9] between Kadesh[10] and Shur[11], and sojourned in Gerar."[12]
V1 We see the phrase "Likewise this(וְזֹ֥את wezat)" appearing here with a Vav which produces "and likewise" expressing that chapter 7 is a continuation of chapter 6. The base word [13] zeh הזֶ ZayinHey is found with broad and diverse meanings like this or demon.
But in the text we see VavZayinAlefTav (וְזֹ֥את). The AlefTav in the place of the letter Hey and gives the text a richer meaning in line with the theme of the version which will be verified at the end with the statement "it is most holy[14]."
The offering is holy if it is freely given by faith which "is the torat"(תּוֹרַ֖ת)[2] of the trespass offering:"
V2 The place[15] has to do with those conditions that make opportunity holy.[14] The kill יִשְׁחֲט֖וּ 1 yišḥăṭū
V1-V6 is saying that everything that is freely given shall be shared freely on the table of the LORD. It is consecrated and holy[14] and should be given to the people.
Qodesh קֹדֶשׁ designates all that is set apart to God’s unique sphere of purity, otherness, and moral perfection. Whether the word modifies the LORD Himself or something brought near to Him, it signals separation from common use and consecration to divine purpose. The idea pervades the entire Old Testament, appearing in every major literary corpus roughly 464 times, so that holiness becomes a unifying thread in redemptive history.
Those who eat the dainties at the tables of rulers who call themselves benefactors but exercise authority[16] are not holy. They are idolaters because they are entangled in covetous practices.[17]
V7-10 The "sin offering[18] is, so is the trespass offering:[6] there is one law". The word law here is Torah תּוֹרָ֥ה[19] which means law in the sense of instructions.
V11-21 is about the peace offering(הַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים haš-šə-lā-mîm)[20]
V13-14 Together is seen as a leavened bread offering designate mandatory out of the whole oblation[3] to be a heave offering[21].
V15-18 is saying there should be no delay in the sharing and distribution
V19-21 The flesh is בָּשָׂר (bāśār)[22] denotes the soft tissue of humans and animals. From that literal sense the word broadens to embrace food, blood-kinship, the whole of humanity, creaturely frailty, and the realm that stands in contrast to the Spirit. Roughly 270 occurrences spread across every major corpus of the Hebrew Scriptures testify to its theological weight.
V19 "And the flesh(וְהַבָּשָׂ֞ר) that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten(יֹאכַ֥ל)[23]; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh(וְהַבָּשָׂ֞ר), all that be clean shall eat(יֹאכַ֥ל)[23] thereof(בָּשָֽׂר)."
There is a warning that it should not touch an unclean(טָמֵא֙ tame)[24] thing but also no unclean(טָהוֹר TetHeyVavReish[25] should eat of this offering.
There are two words here reflecting the meaning of unclean. The first is Tame טָמֵא (Strong’s 02931 adj. and the verb 02930) as substantive describes persons, animals, objects, places, or times rendered “unclean” in relation to the holiness of God. The term appears approximately eighty-eight times, concentrated in Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and the Prophets. It is never a comment on inherent worth but on fitness to approach or serve (Leviticus 10:10).
The second is the adjective טָהוֹר (tahor) describes that which is Clean and entirely free from defilement, whether ceremonial, physical, moral, or spiritual. It occurs about ninety-three times across the Hebrew Scriptures, forming one of the major vocabulary pillars for the themes of holiness, separation, and wholehearted devotion to the LORD. The bible talks about different types of tables where the daily ministration may be distributed. Those who eat at one should not eat at the other with a few exceptions.
V14-32-34 There is a heave offering(תְּרוּמָ֖ה tə-rū-māh)[21] taken from the sacrifice (תְּרוּמָ֖ה tə-rū-māh)
"It is said that a Terumah is the act of setting apart something valuable and elevating it to the LORD for His exclusive use. With roughly seventy-six occurrences, Scripture applies the term to materials, produce, sacrificial portions, silver, land, and even people, stressing that all belong to God and are to be handled with reverent care."
Since, the altars and priests are actually a part of the social safety net for a nation filled with peculiar people that are a part of a nation following the righteous ways of faith, hope, and charity taught in the Doctrine of Jesus according to The Way of the Lord from the beginning, the heave offering is passed up to the priests who will eventually turn it into a wave offering תְּנופָה (t’nuphah)[26] for redistribution through out the kingdom of God.

The Guilt Offering
1 Likewise this(וְזֹ֥את wezat)[13] is the law (תּוֹרַ֖ת)[2] of the trespass offering: it is most holy[14].
2 In the place[15] where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle round about upon the altar.
3 And he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards,
4 And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:
5 And the priest shall burn(וְהִקְטִ֨יר) them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a trespass offering.
6 Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy(קֹ֥דֶשׁ) place: it is most holy.(קָֽדָשִׁ֖ים)[14]
Sin and Trespass
7 As the sin offering[18] is, so is the trespass offering[6]: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.
8 And the priest that offereth any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.
9 And all the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dressed in the fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest's that offereth it.
10 And every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.
The Fellowship Offering
11 And this is(וְזֹ֥את wezat)[13] the law of the sacrifice[27] of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.
12 If he offer[28] it for a thanksgiving[7], then he shall offer with the sacrifice[27] of thanksgiving[7] unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed(מְשֻׁחִ֣ים) with oil(בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן), and cakes mingled(בְּלוּלֹ֥ת) with oil(בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן), of fine flour, fried(מֻרְבֶּ֔כֶת).
13 Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice[27] of thanksgiving[7] of his peace offerings.
14 And of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation[3] for an heave offering[21] unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest's that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.
15 And the flesh of the sacrifice[27] of his peace offerings for thanksgiving(תּוֹדַ֣ת)[7] shall be eaten the same day that it is offered[3]; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.
16 But if the sacrifice[27] of his offering[3] be a vow, or a voluntary offering[29] , it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice[27] : and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:
17 But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice[27] on the third day shall be burnt with fire.
18 And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice[27] of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.
Clean and unclean
19 And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.
20 But the soul(וְהַנֶּ֜פֶשׁ wəhannep̄eš)[30] that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice[27] of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul(הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ hannepeš)[30] shall be cut off from his people.
21 Moreover the soul(וְנֶ֜פֶשׁ wənep̄eš)[30] that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice[27] of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that so(הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ hannep̄eš)[30] shall be cut off(וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה wəniḵrəṯāh)[30] from his people.
Eating Fat and Blood Forbidden
22 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
23 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.
24 And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.
25 For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.
26 Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.
27 Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.
The Priests’ Share
28 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
29 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice[27] of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his oblation[3] unto the LORD of the sacrifice[27] of his peace offerings.
30 His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast(הֶֽחָזֶה֙ heḥāzeh)[31] , it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.
31 And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar[32] : but the breast(הֶֽחָזֶה֙ heḥāzeh)[31] shall be Aaron's and his sons'.
32 And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering[21] of the sacrifices[27] of your peace offerings.
33 He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth (אֶת) the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.
34 For the (אֶת־ ’eṯ-) wave breast(הֶֽחָזֶה֙ heḥāzeh)[31] and the heave[21] shoulder[33] have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices[27] of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel.
35 This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office;
36 Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.
37 This is the law[2] of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice[27] of the peace offerings;
38 Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations[3] unto the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.

- ↑ Leviticus is about Corban
It was written for "the called", the Church in the wilderness and their instructions of sacrifice, trust and service.
All in accordance with the Corban of Moses concerning the seeking of the kingdom of God and the way of the righteousness of God for the the exercise of Pure Religion for the people in free assemblies who through Freewill offerings and the service of the priests and a network of Levites.
The Called out of Christ would also institute the Corban of Christ, a similar system composed of the Lively Stones of a Living Altar, the Early Church.
The early called out or Church of Christ through a daily ministration of fervent charity provided all the care and welfare for early Christians who would not eat at the tables of the social safety net system operated through the qorban of the temples of Rome and Ephesus.
The governments of the world were a snare and a trap that were capable of entangling the masses as captives and merchandise again in the bondage of Egypt through their covetous practices.
David, Paul, and Peter warned of those dainties which were not only the wages of unrighteousness provide by rulers but were full of the leaven that made the word of God to none effect.
They knew that the free bread of the world were provided by men who called themselves benefactors but exercise authority one over the other. - ↑ 2.0 2.1 2.2 2.3 2.4 We see the Hebrew word Torat(תּוֹרַ֥ת) said to be mean law and from the word Torah(תּוֹרָה), which is said to be from yarah or yara (יָרָה יָרָא) meaning to teach.
Torat and Torah have a striking similarity to tor(תּוֹר) a turtledove supposedly from tor (תּוֹר תּוֹר) meaning ornaments or border, tor(תּוֹר) meaning estate and also identical to tor(תּוֹר) a bullock or ox.
The letters of TavVavReish have meanings that together share common connection to kinds of sacrifices.
There is the pagan law of the Turtledove sacrifices of Sumer's Goddess of welfare through the idolatry of Balaam.
Then there is the true Corban of Moses by the law of faith rather than the that of a forced sacrifice seen used by Cain, Abimelech, Pharaoh, Nimrod, and the Corban of the Pharisees and Herod through the deeds of the Nicolaitan which God hates.
The error of Balaam is found in the Bible as the City-state that is a cauldron, the cities of blood, the cities established by consent that have One purse where rulers offer tables for your welfare that are a snare and a trap, and we also, of course, see in their modern Socialism and Marxism the Mandell Houses, FDRs, LBJs and all Democratic socialist, etc.
Their means and methods mark the masses with the key Elements that distinguish the way of the world from the Kingdom of God.
The covetous practices of men and their rulers who exercise authority as the benefactors or civil fathers provide the wages of unrighteousness as dainties and benefits to the masses.
This idolatry has been accepted and even promoted by the doctrines of the Modern Church despite being forbidden by Christ. - ↑ 3.0 3.1 3.2 3.3 3.4 3.5 3.6 07133 קָרְבָּן qorban kor-bawn’ or קרבן qurban koor-bawn’ from 07126 KufReishBeit without the Nun is also translated offer but can mean to draw near, This is the word we see as corban in Greek 2878 ~κορβαν~; n m; {See TWOT on 2065 @@ "2065e"} AV-offering 68, oblation 12, offered 1, sacrifice 1; 82

- יָשַׁב Yasab more than a thousand times across every major section of the Old Testament. Moses repeatedly used the verb to describe the goal of the exodus: “that you may live long in the land” (Deuteronomy 5:33). It frames the conquest narratives—“no one will be able to stand against you in the land where you live” (Deuteronomy 11:25). To dwell at Gerar between Kadesh and Shur in the tent of Shem. In summary, the Old Testament’s pervasive use of this verb binds together space, authority, rest, and relationship, tracing a redemptive arc from Eden’s loss to the New Jerusalem’s glory.

The related concept of a "wilderness" or a "desert" and might be found under Greek terms like:
ἔρημος (erēmos - 2048), meaning "desert" or "wilderness" suggests a measure of isolating, fasting, and yearning. Genesis 16, Genesis 20.
The Greek Eremos corresponding to Shur(שׂוּר ):
* ερημια eremia 2047 wilderness;
* ερημος eremos 2048 solitude;
* ερημοω eremoo 2049 despoliation;
* ερημωσις eremosis 2050 desolation.
"The voice of one crying in the (ἔρημος) wilderness" emeros has a metaphorical meaning a state of being which comes with an isolation from unrighteousness.

- "Gerar" is said to mean "lodging place" or ""sojourning". Abraham sojourned while Lot chose to live in a city-state.
The cause and effect of living in Sodom would degenerated the people and gave the king power making the masses as human resources.
But Abraham lived by faith and honor, compassion and sacrifice which brought him along a straight way of "righteousness".
The way he went was a part of the stories of Abraham and Isaac in the Book of Genesis with his interactions between the patriarchs and the local rulers, notably Abimelech. His willingness to repent and obey with a reliance on God's righteousness made his life fruitful and his prayers powerful.
- Often associated with the Philistines. "גרשׂ (Arabic bray, pound, grind, coarse, Aramaic גְּרַס (rare) crush, , crushed, crush, destroy; compare following)."
- "Gerar" is said to mean "lodging place" or ""sojourning". Abraham sojourned while Lot chose to live in a city-state.

- ↑ Not exercise authority
- Matthew 20:25 "But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you:..."
- Mark 10:42 "But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you:..."

- ↑ Covetousness is idolatry
- Colossians 3:5 "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:"
- Ephesians 5:5 "For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."
- 1 Corinthians 5:10 "Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat."
- For it is written that the tables of dainties provided by rulers of the world are a snare because they cause the masses to bite one another through government systems of legal charity which are covetous practices which are a form of fornication or adultery where the people are devoured as merchandise, curse children and are "entangled again in the yoke of bondage" with the aid of the false religion of the whore who rides the beast.
