In Egypt under the Pharaoh 20% of your labor belonged to the government of Pharaoh as if you were employed and they called it the Bondage of Egypt. All over the world today people pay much more of their labor to the government and call it freedom.
But because the people desired benefits from men who call themselves Benefactors we have returned to bondage. We were told to 'never return to the bondage of Egypt but people did under Herod and Rome, and in the United States under FDR. It was also called a corvee system of statutory labor or the bondage of Egypt. Jesus told us to think a different way and to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Are we in need of learning the lessons of Exodus?

At this point "all the congregation(עֵדָה‎)[1]" are gathered in the tens, hundreds and thousands to form the government of God to provide the three essential services of a free government under God. They had a voluntary self regulated military, court system and social welfare system supported by freewill offerings.
If you do not earn the rest by working first for "Six days you are not keeping the sabbath. But if you do work should you be put to death? What does the word work even mean? There are numerous words translated work. Here we see [2] which is translated work 129 times but also business 12 times but defined occupation, work, business. It can also mean "public business, political, religious". The "public religion" of Moses was through "freewill offerings" actually delivered and not pledges. Other city-states like Sumer and eventually the Corban of the pharisees relied upon the force of governments who exercise authority and legal charity often coupled with oaths, pledges, surety, and debt which makes men merchandise.[3]
V3 To "kindle a fire" is the Hebrew term translated kindle is בָּעַר‎ ba‘ar[4] and often translated burn. It is translated kindle 13 times but 7 times it is translated brutish. It is even defined as "to be stupid, brutish, barbarous".
The same letters BeitAyinReish בַּעַר‎ ba‘ar when given another Strong's number as a noun[5] can also mean "brutishness, stupidity, brutish (person)or even a foolish person.
But the use of בָּעַר‎ ba‘ar which we see translated "kindle" appears in the text of Exodus 35 verse 3 as תְבַעֲר֣וּ ṯəḇa‘ărū one time in the Bible which is the letters TavBeitAyinReishVav. Then the idea or symbolism of fire, strange fire, burnt offering and the whole sophistry surrounding the Altars of clay and stone.
Is this statement within the text of verse 3 really about Moses making a rule about kindling a fire on the Sabbath in your dwelling?

Or starting a furnace or lighting a candles or just turning on a light switch as some more orthodox Jews believe.
Are we being blinded to the true meaning of this verse by Sophistry of foolish?[6]

The term for dwelling can be מוֹשָׁב mowshab consisting of the letters MemShinVavBeit or even just משׁב‎ moshab MemShinBeit. The word משׁב‎ moshab[7] is translated as habitation 12 times and dwellings 8 times and even the word seat 7 times. That same word word משׁב‎ moshab can also mean just a place, sitting, and even just assembly. Moshab is said to be from the primitive root יָשַׁב‎ yashab composed of the letters YodShinBeit[8] that has been translated dwell 437 time and inhabitant 221 times, and but also sit 172 times, even just abide 70 times. The letters ShinBeit can be preceded by Mem or by a Yod which individually alters the meaning a little but both still included the idea where you abide or sit, i.e. where you are come from.
So, the phrase "throughout your habitations" suggests this prohibition "kindling a fire" is not just about inside your house but reaches farther into the whole community "throughout your habitations".
The actual term that appears in the text as מֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם mōwōšəḇōṯêḵem which is MemShinBeitTavYodKafMem. TavYodKafMem appears as a suffix to a number of words which suggests a flow of a kingdom connected faith. We have seen this combination of letters in Exodus 12 verse 17 added to the word for host and army.
This sudden prohibition of the idea of to "kindle a fire" seems to be as out of place as the prohibition in Exodus 23:19[9] concerning Milk and meat touching.
Remembering that:
  • The Hebrew term translated kindle בָּעַר‎ ba‘ar[4] also means "stupid as in brutish" as would accompany the use of force.
  • The Hebrew term translated fire can represent the female personification of the welfare system of a society like the bride of Christ or the woman more precious than a ruby.[10]
  • The Sabbath was not a day but the way of working first and avoiding debt to say nothing of covetous practices.[11]
  • We should ask is the prohibition about not kindling a fire (לֹא־תְבַעֲר֣וּ אֵ֔שׁ) or was it about "not being stupid and brutish in all your dwellings or sitting down in the way of the Sabbath?
  • What do we need to learn about Leaven, Breeches or about eating Milk and meat and about Strange fire?
5v Take ... an offering (tëruwmah)[12] unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing (nadiyb)[13] heart, ... bring an offering (tëruwmah)[12] of the LORD.
There is a long list of materials that define more than the tabernacle and and garments but also represented deeper message and meaning in symbols.
V6 Why "blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair"?
V10 "And every wise[14] hearted among you shall come, and make"
V16 "The altar of burnt offering[15]"
21v ... his spirit made willing,[12][16] and they brought the LORD'S offering (tëruwmah)[12] to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments (beged)[17].
Beged[17] means garment but also treachery and deceit.
22v ...were willing[13] hearted... and every man that offered[18] offered an offering[19]... unto the LORD.

3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing[13] heart, let him bring it, an offering[12] of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

19 The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

Spirit and heart willing

21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing,[12][16] and they brought the LORD'S offering[12] to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service[23], and for the holy garments.

22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing[13] hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered[18] offered an offering[19] of gold unto the LORD.

23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.

Offers

24 Every one that did offer[24] an offering[12] of silver and brass brought the LORD'S offering[12]: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.

25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.

27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering[20] unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing[21] to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman[25] , and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise[25] cunning work.
