Joseph the vizier and would initiate all the people of Egypt including the sons of Jacob into a corvee system of civil bondage except the priests. The name given to Joseph has been said to mean ‘He who is called Ipiankhu’.
Ipiankhu can mean the "vizier" (ipi) of "life"(ank) of "Hu"(h), "the personification of the creator of life".[1]. In Genesis 41:38 Pharaoh said Joseph had the "Spirit of God" who is the spirit of life.
The Ankh at the end of his name meant the key of life or the key of the Nile.

Comments
We see Joseph was placed as the vizier of Egypt Genesis 41. When the Famine came due to climate change there was only grain in Egypt.
V3-5 Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy grain in Egypt but not Benjamin.
Joseph as the governor (הַשַּׁלִּ֣יט)[4] Though a governor and ruler would he fall to the folly of Cain and Saul as spoken of in Ecclesiastes 10
V9-14 The brothers did not know Joseph yet they bowed down showing the dream in Genesis 37 had is fulfilled but was led to call them spies.
V15-20 He gives the grain but calls that his younger brother be brought to prove they are not spies. And imprisons them all but finally lets one go after three days. But they will die if he does not return with the younger brother. He tells this because he says he fears God(הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים hā-’ĕ-lō-hîm). But this is a plan given him by God so he is true in what he says but they do not understand but are beginning to in the next verse.
V21 Because of the distress[5] that they are now experiencing they begin to feel the shame of what they did to Joseph but they do not know that Joseph stands before them. Now they are feeling the anguish[5] of being trapped as they had trapped their own brother.[6] As they judged so are they judged but Joseph is doing this so that they might repent their selfishness.
V22 Reuben speaks reminding them that they should not have sinned against their brother but they would not hear, so according to the law of cause and effect built into creation by God, "therefore, behold, also their blood is required." Had they killed him like the Pharisees who killed Christ it would more than bondage they would face.
V23-26 They did not know that Joseph understood them and had to hide his tears. He comes back and releases all of them to go but binds Simeon before their eyes and gives them grain to go on their way. but he hides the money in their packs.
V27 They find the money in their packs when traveling back.
V28 "their heart[7] failed[8] them, and they were afraid(VavYodChetReishDelathVav)[9]"
V29-35 They Told all this to Jacob. His faith is shaken also afraid. (VavYodYodReishAlefItalic textVav wayyîrā’ū)[10]
Questions
Do we understand the motivation of Joseph?
Why was he creating the chain of events we see in the story?
Did he have divine incite?
What was the plan?
What is the way of Christ, of the anointed of God do not covet their .[11]
Because all religion that say it is okay to covet their neighbors' goods through the legal systems of government charity because those churches fornicate[12] with the world. and synagogues of evil are the religion of idolatry.[13]
Fervent charity, which is nurtured by the virtue of the the blood of the kingdom of God which is the flesh and blood of Christ that comes to us by way of the comforter, requires wisdom of God so that is the logos of Christ, His Right Reason and righteousness. With the Spirit of God what we give will become like boiling a kid in its mothers milk.

Jacob sends 10 sons to Egypt for corn

1 Now when Jacob saw that there was corn in Egypt, Jacob said unto his sons, Why do ye look one upon another?

2 And he said, Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt: get you down thither, and buy for us from thence; that we may live, and not die.

3 And Joseph's ten brethren went down to buy corn in Egypt.

4 But Benjamin, Joseph's brother, Jacob sent not with his brethren; for he said, Lest peradventure mischief befall him.

5 And the sons of Israel came to buy corn among those that came: for the famine was in the land of Canaan.

Brothers bows to Joseph

6 And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph's brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.

7 And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.

8 And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him.

The dream remembered

9 And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them,[14] and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness[15] of the land ye are come.

10 And they said unto him, Nay, my lord, but to buy food are thy servants come.

11 We are all one man's sons; we are true men, thy servants are no spies.

12 And he said unto them, Nay, but to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

13 And they said, Thy servants are twelve brethren, the sons of one man in the land of Canaan; and, behold, the youngest is this day with our father, and one is not.

Ye are spies

14 And Joseph said unto them, That is it that I spake unto you, saying, Ye are spies:

15 Hereby ye shall be proved: By the life of Pharaoh ye shall not go forth hence, except your youngest brother come hither.

16 Send one of you, and let him fetch your brother, and ye shall be kept in prison, that your words may be proved, whether there be any truth in you: or else by the life of Pharaoh surely ye are spies.

17 And he put them all together into ward three days.

Do and live

18 And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God:

19 If ye be true men, let one of your brethren be bound in the house of your prison: go ye, carry corn for the famine of your houses:

20 But bring your youngest brother unto me; so shall your words be verified, and ye shall not die. And they did so.

We are verily guilty

21 And they said one to another, We are verily guilty concerning our brother, in that we saw the anguish[5] of his soul, when he besought us, and we would not hear; therefore is this distress[5] come upon us.[6]

22 And Reuben answered them, saying, Spake I not unto you, saying, Do not sin against the child;[16] and ye would not hear?[17] therefore, behold, also his blood is required.

knew not Joseph

23 And they knew not that Joseph understood them; for he spake unto them by an interpreter.

24 And he turned himself about from them, and wept; and returned to them again, and communed with them, and took from them Simeon, and bound him before their eyes.

Fill their sacks

25 Then Joseph commanded to fill their sacks with corn, and to restore every man's money into his sack, and to give them provision for the way: and thus did he unto them.

26 And they laded their asses with the corn, and departed thence.

Hearts Failed

27 And as one of them opened his sack to give his ass provender in the inn, he espied his money; for, behold, it was in his sack's mouth.

28 And he said unto his brethren, My money is restored; and, lo, it is even in my sack: and their heart[7] failed[8] them, and they were afraid(VavYodChetReishDelathVav)[9], saying one to another, What is this that God hath done unto us?

Confessed to their father

29 And they came unto Jacob their father unto the land of Canaan, and told him all that befell unto them; saying,

30 The man, who is the lord of the land, spake roughly to us, and took us for spies of the country.

31 And we said unto him, We are true men; we are no spies:

32 We be twelve brethren, sons of our father; one is not, and the youngest is this day with our father in the land of Canaan.

33 And the man, the lord of the country, said unto us, Hereby shall I know that ye are true men; leave one of your brethren here with me, and take food for the famine of your households, and be gone:

34 And bring your youngest brother unto me: then shall I know that ye are no spies, but that ye are true men: so will I deliver you your brother, and ye shall traffick in the land.

35 And it came to pass as they emptied their sacks, that, behold, every man's bundle of money was in his sack: and when both they and their father saw the bundles of money, they were afraid.

Me have ye bereaved

36 And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.

Offered his own sons

37 And Reuben spake unto his father, saying, Slay my two sons, if I bring him not to thee: deliver him into my hand, and I will bring him to thee again.

Jacob fears

38 And he said, My son shall not go down with you; for his brother is dead, and he is left alone: if mischief befall him by the way in the which ye go, then shall ye bring down my gray hairs with sorrow to the grave.

And his brethren were content. 28 Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty [pieces] of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt. 29 And Reuben returned unto the pit; and, behold, Joseph [was] not in the pit; and he rent his clothes. 30 And he returned unto his brethren, and said, The child [is] not; and I, whither shall I go? 31 And they took Joseph s coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood; 32 And they sent the coat of [many] colours, and they brought [it] to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it [be] thy son s coat or no. 33 And he knew it, and said, [It is] my son s coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces. 34 And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.
