V8 The word hunter is from the Hebrew word tsayid^[1] which is more often translated provision, food, food-supply, or victuals. The word paniym^[2] is translated "before" in the sense in the face of, before or in stead of. It could be said that “Nimrod was a mighty provider instead of the LORD.”
In Genesis 11 we will see that they make bricks as stones and build a city and a tower that confounds the people so that they become divided.
What they are talking about is a system that makes men merchandise and limits the liberty of choice of the people.
All these families of the sons of Noah, were not righteous in their generations.
It was not until Abraham and his altars of Clay and Stone that men began to walk in faith.
'Their error was the error of Balaam and the Nicolaitan, the covetous practices that makes merchandise that will bring about the Mark of the Beast of Revelation and Babylon the Great.
Abraham was not going the way of Nimrod which lead to the people becoming subject citizens, i.e. merchandise (human resources) because his dainties were the product of the covetous practices of idolatry that Terah had begun to follow but he was choosing the way of the Corban of Christ through Faith, hope, love and charity.
Boundaries of The means and methodsV19 Are they describing the "border^[3] of the Canaanites"? Or this is this limiting the means and methods of Abraham? The phrase "from Sidon" is from (miṣṣîḏōn מִצִּידֹ֔ן) which is of the word Tsidon which can mean hunting in the sense of fishing. Is Abraham supposed to be fishing like the apostles who were to be fishers of men? Was he to be doing this caring for people with compassion and love and charity which by nature "comest to Gerar^[4], unto Gaza(‘az·zāh; עַזָּ֑ה ) which is strength? Is Gerar a place or a state of being? Is Abraham supposed to be fishers of men like Christ or "mighty hunters" like Nimrod? If we go the covetous way of Nimrod we will degenerate as a city of blood. The phrase "as thou goest" is from the Hebrew word bō’ă·ḵāh (בֹּאֲכָ֞ה) . as thou goest, unto Sodom(05467 səḏōmāh סְדֹ֧מָה) , and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
Nimrod, Pharaoh, Caesar, the Pharisees, Herod, FDR, LBJ and many others all bring in the reward of unrighteousness to deceive the people and make them human resources entangling them in the Yoke of bondage.

A mighty Hunter

8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

9 He was a mighty hunter^[1] before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

The border of Canaanites

19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza(05804 ‘az·zāh; עַזָּ֑ה Gaza); as thou goest, unto Sodom(05467 səḏōmāh סְדֹ֧מָה), and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.
