In the beginning, before the creation of the State by man, man and woman lived in a state of nature. The myth is that Adam and Eve were naked in the garden with only a few tasks and limitations. The truth is that they were given dominion and the task to dress and keep it along with the task of replenishing the place of their dominion.
Creation was finished and therfore the Law of Nature was created, and finished. That law is immutable and continues within creation itself. It is unmovable.
V2 The term within the text for God's work is not melakah MemLamedAlefKafHey (מְלַאכְתּ֖וֹ)[1] but MemLamedAlefKafTavVav appearing twice and again in V3. The principle of the Sabbath is about working and then the taking the treats, the dainties, or benefits of that labor.
In Babylon, Sodom, and Egypt men lost a right to a portion of their labor. This would be the way of Cain that makes men merchandise through what became known as the cities of blood. Mankind would have to first loose his identity as a creation made in the image of God and degenerate into darkness.
It is expressing a precept within the Law of Nature which includes godly order of cause and effect which is altered but not diminished and void all debt in time.
The Bible reveals the Right Reason of the Law of Nature in scriptural text through allegory and metaphor. But the tree of knowledge cannot reveal the whole truth.
Humble supplication is required to eat of the tree of life and understand the Right Reason of divine will.
Modern Sabbath keepers often become counters of days. They unmoor the meaning from the intended precept, then worship the symbol rather than the principle nature of the Creator.[2]
V4 We see the Hebrew letters TavVavLamedDalethVavTav "generations"[3] of the heavens and of the earth were created[4] by the social bonds of faith. Who are those generations that begin and end with Tav, the letter of faith?
V7 The Hebrew word for formed[5] is YodTzedekReish but here we see VavYodYodTzedekReish וַיִּיצֶר֩ wayyîṣer.
The divine spark was entangled with the life of man for the dust [6] of the ground[7] was הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה hā’ăḏāmāh HeyAlefDaletMemHey
Then God's breath enters man and his has life[8] is in the man.[9]; and man became a living[10] soul[11].

The Phrase "living[10] soul[11]". And "living <02416> creature <05315> as in Genesis 2:19; [12]

V8 Is the protected place or garden[13] a location or a condition?
Is it eastward[14] as it means aforetime or ancient?
And the term Eden[15] means what?
Is this verse about man being placed in a geographical location or is it about being placed before the pleasure of life and the dainties of God he must face certain challenges, responsibilities, and tasks in order to grow to be what God intended?
The flow of life
In this V9 we see for the first time the phrase of the tree[16] of life[10] but the word Life is not just "ChetYod" but contains the letter HeyChetYodYodMem.
The Rivers water the gardens[13] but is divided in four parts. Are these rivers representing elements of a divine design?
Pison[17], PeiYodShinVavNun, Communication through the breath of the Divine spark of the Eternal Flame of Revelation Connecting realms so that you can move in the world but also in the realm of the kingdom of God.
Gihon[18], GimelYodChetVavNun, Cause and effect through the Divine spark in the Life Force Connecting realms so that you can move in the world but also in the realm of the kingdom of God.
Hiddekel[19], ChetDaletKufLamed Chiddeqel, The Life Force which is a -cause and effect- from Selflessness – Charity <Dalet>, and Omnipresence - Redemption of Fallen Sparks Lamed means Aspiration of the Heart in action as a doer.
Euphrates[20], Communication Life's revelation through ת Tav is a Seal of a Higher kingdom or realm. The malchut to the keter (crown) through faith in a spiritual reality. It links the unseen worlds like a doorway of faith. The Aleph Tav are the first and last letters. [sign cross... seal] 400
V15 The command to "dress it and keep it" suggests he is to cultivate and defend that dominion from depredation or usurpation.
Questions
V16 What does the symbols of the Two Trees represent?
Man alone
V18 It was not good that Man be alone. Why?
The words for "help meet" "ezer kenegdo” ( עֵ֖זֶר כְּנֶגְדּֽוֹ׃ ) seems to have created a controversy over the role of men and women. The confusion is all man's, and woman's.

The Hebrew term עֵזֶר ezer does not mean subordinate nor inferior but is only used of an equal or even a superior.
In verse 18 we see "I will make him an "ezer kenegdo” ( עֵ֖זֶר כְּנֶגְדּֽוֹ׃ ), an help meet for him." The word help is ezer[21] which does mean helps, but possibly by her very nature she will help man be all he can be. We seem to be still asking the question What is a Woman?

In other text ezer[21] is often in a role of a saviour, rescuer, or protector.[22]

What are the tools of this protection uniquely observed in the nature of a good woman?

But there is also the word translated meets[23] normally written NunGimelDalet but appears as kəneḡdōw KafNunGimelDalethVav and is repeated only in verse 20.

What did God mean when he called woman a help meet for man or did he? Is woman suppose to work for man just as a helper or is the presence of her nature creating another condition to bring them both to where God intended in His Divine design?
Man and Woman seem to have multipurpose identity in God's creation and their role may be flexible and changing by intent.
A common interpretation of "help meet" (ezer kenegdo) that is popular today is that "A help meet is one that realizes she was made to serve her husband, rather than him being made to serve her." This interpretation is supported by other interpretations of texts that assume that this is an accurate view of "help meet" (ezer kenegdo).[24]

In Skip Moen's book Guardian Angel there is another view of the woman. The critic Daniel Botkin wrote, “...the wife’s God-ordained role in the marriage, both before and after the Fall, is to be the following things to her husband: his priest and spiritual guide, his spiritual director, his boundary-setter, his confronter and corrector, his chastiser, his protector and guardian, his rescuer, his owner and manager, his shield, his sustainer, his nourisher”

In V19 we see "God formed every beast of the field" where the word beast actually means something alive or that has life based the word HeyYod[10] but here we see and additional Tav of faith added to the end.[25] and the field is just on the land or in the country.
V20 What is the purpose of Naming?

V22 "One flesh" We see in Matthew 19:5 "And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder."
Mark 10:8 "And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh."
Ephesians 5:31 "For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh."
V25 Were they Naked or was that a symbol of something else? The Levites were naked and needed the people to sew them breeches. What was that about?

The Seventh Day, God Rests

1 Thus the heavens[26] and the earth[27] were finished, and all the host of them.[28]

2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.


The Creation of Man and Woman

4 These are the generations[3] of the heavens and of the earth when they were created[4], in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

Mist instead of rain

5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground[7].

6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground[7].

Man formed

7 And the LORD God formed[5] man of the dust[6] of the ground[7], and breathed into his nostrils the breath[29]; and man became a living[10] soul[11] of life[8].

Eastward in Eden

8 And the LORD God planted a garden[13] eastward[14] in Eden[15]; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

Trees

9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree[16] of life[10] also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Four divisions of the water

10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.

Pison

11 The name of the first is[30] Pison[17]: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

Gihon

13 And the name of the second river is Gihon[18]: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia[31].

Hiddekel and Euphrates

14 And the name of the third river is[30] Hiddekel[19]: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is[30] Euphrates[20].

18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him ( עֵ֖זֶר כְּנֶגְדּֽוֹ׃ “ezer kenegdo”) an help[21]meet[23] for him.

19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living[10] creature[11], that was the name thereof.

20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet[32] for him.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.
