Comments, more Decrees of the king |
V1 Judge not[1] is because we are in a cause and effect universe. |
V2 What judgment will you be measured (metrō metreite metrēthēsetai) by?[2] Is it the judgment or precedent of Moses?[3][4] |
V3 V4 The pharisees had it wrong, they lived in darkness,[5] and were making the word of God to none effect. |
If you judge it is okay to desire benefits at the expense of others through men who call themselves benefactors but exercise authority then you are engaged in the covetous practices[6] that makes men merchandise. From the provisions of Nimrod to they dainties of the tables of rulers which are a snare and a trap[7] men have been entangle in the yoke of bondage and curse children. |
From the city-states of Cain and Sumer or the flesh pots of Egypt and the cities of blood, like Nimrod's Babylon these systems of legal charity are the covetousness Paul calls idolatry.[8] Like the Corban of the Pharisees they make the word of God to no effect, degenerating the masses to become perfect savages. |
The blindness[9] of the modern Church to the immorality of a social safety net through institutions of "force and violence" public welfare |
V5 Jesus talks a great deal about not being a hypocrite. The politicians of the world rule over the people for money because the people rule over their neighbors for the the dainties of those rulers. They love the benefits of the reward of unrighteousness more than they love their neighbor. And as they judge so are they judged. |
Do you know how to give good gifts or do you take and take? |
The warning of Jesus to be a doer of the word in Matthew 7:21, 22 are repeated in other chapters as a constant reminder:[10] |
The warnings about people being workers of iniquity while thinking they are believers are all over scripture. |
Being a doer of His word is essential to salvation. We know by that preserved word that "many" will be so deluded that even though they will read His words, claim to follow Him, and think they are doing things in His name they will actually be counted by Him and told by Him that they are workers of iniquity. |
We also know because Luke 13:27 "But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all [ye] workers of iniquity."
It should therefore be so clear to everyone who say they are Christian or think they hear and believe Jesus that they need to actually be doing what He said to do. Matthew 7 through the context of the Doctrines of Jesus, Everyone should be asking daily themselves and others whether in the institutional church or even in the house churches, "Am I and are we doing what he said to do or doing what he said not to do?" "Are we Workers of iniquity? |
Augustine of Hippo paraphrased this idea in one of his homilies only to have it band as "hate speech."...the less they concentrate on their own sins, the more interested they become in the sins of others. They seek to criticize, not to correct. Unable to excuse themselves, they are ready to accuse. ' |
V5 The Pharisees were hypocrites because they said they knew Moses but they did not.[11] |
V8-9 in this same instruction concerning the Pharisees Jesus equates the casting pearls before swine while speaking of taking responsibility for what we fail to see. |
V24 Distinction is made between a doer and a hearer is equated with the metaphors of "rock" and "sand". A rock is a symbol of faith.[12] |
To repent, seek, and be a doer are common themes of His doctrine. |
V15-17 What has been the fruit of the Modern Church but division[13] and denominations. The returning the people to the bondage of Egypt through the covetous practices that have always turned the masses into merchandise and curse children dividing[13] them from God. |
V16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. |
Instead of a daily ministration of Pure Religion through Fervent charity they have taught the people the ways of legal charity from men who call themselves benefactors but exercise authority one over the other. |
V21 Warns of the need to be the doers.[10][14][15] |
V26 Do not fail to be doers [10] |
V29 He taught as one having authority.[16] |
Matthew 7
Judge not
[1] Judge not[1][4], that ye be not judged[4].
[2] For with what judgment[2][4] ye judge[4], ye shall be judged[4]: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.[4]
[3] And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
[4] Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Hypocrite
[5] Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
[6] Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
[7] Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
[8] For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
[9] Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?
[10] Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
[11] If ye then, being evil[17], know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
The strait gate
[12] Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
[13] Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
[14] Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
False prophets
[15] Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.[18][19]
[16] Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
[17] Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil[17] fruit.
[18] A good tree cannot bring forth evil[17] fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
[19] Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
[20] Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.[20]
Workers of iniquity
[21] Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father[21][15] which is in heaven.[10][14]
[22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
[23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me[22], ye that work iniquity.[23]
Wise men
[24] Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
[25] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Foolish men
[26] And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
[27] And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Doctrine of Jesus
[28] And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
[29] For he taught them as one having authority[16], and not as the scribes.

- 1 Timothy 6:9 "But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
- "Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?" Isaiah 40:21 is about the message of John the Baptist who was "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God" Isaiah 40:3 to avoid the "snare" of the legal charity of the welfare state which which makes the word of God to none effect bringing man back into captivity as human resources.
- ↑ Covetousness is idolatry

- For it is written that the tables of dainties provided by rulers of the world are a snare because they cause the masses to bite one another through government systems of legal charity which are covetous practices which are a form of fornication or adultery where the people are devoured as merchandise, curse children and are "entangled again in the yoke of bondage" with the aid of the false religion of the whore who rides the beast.

- 1 Timothy 4:1 "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;...12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
- Jeremiah 5:21 "Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:"
- Matthew 7:15 ¶ "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
- Matthew 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
- [2 Peter 2]]:1 "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 ¶ And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. :
- 2 Timothy 3:1 "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
- Ephesians 4:17 "This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
- ↑ Levites called to serve
- Exodus 32:26 "Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who [is] on the LORD’S side? [let him come] unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him."

- Numbers 8:14 "Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine."
- Numbers 18:24 "But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer [as] an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance."
- Deuteronomy 26:13 "Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite , and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:"
- ↑ Fathers of the earth
- Matthew 23:9 "And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."
- Matthew 6:8 "Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

- 1 John 3:1 ¶ "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not."
- The Fathers of the earth assume the natural role of the father of the family. Like the Conscripti Patri or the Patronus of Rome who become the benefactors of the masses offering them benefits and dainties from their civil tables of social welfare which are not only a snare, but destroy liberty, making the people merchandise. The Church established by Jesus would seek to have a daily ministration of Pure Religion through fervent charity.

- Matthew 7:21 "20 "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:"

- Luke 13:25-27 “25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.”
