V1 Jesus went to where the people resort which is to say coming together to assemble in order to "transfer". The word is from the Greek words "sun" and "poreuomai"[1] meaning "to transfer to another leader". These people were transferring from the Corban of the ruler Herod and the Pharisees to the Corban of Christ who came to set the captive free. This system was a different way of thinking and altered the lives of the people. It required that people think differently about many things and so he taught the people.
The system of welfare set up by the Pharisees and Herod was modeled after what Rome was doing where people would sign up or register with his temple and create a legal obligation to pay into the temple. This obligation enforced by the civil authority[2] was making the word of God to none effect.
V2 The Pharisees questioned[3] Jesus as they had also asked the other people in Mark 9:16. They did this not just to tempt but to test[4] Jesus. The people who chose not join the system of the pharisees was costing them. Both John and jesus promoted a system of welfare that was not a snare and a trap like the tables of Cain, Nimrod, Pharaoh, Caesar and Herod which all depended up the exercise of authority to force the contribution of the people to provide the benefits and dainties of their systems of social welfare.
the family was in decline as the state be came the Father of the people providing free bread to the needy. Divorce and infidelity were on the rise as societ degenerated. The pharissee seemed to want to know if divorce was lawful using the word exesti[5] which is not about their legal system but the Natural law which comes from the I am. The translation seems to be asking us about if a "man to put away[6] his wife" is it lawful. They know what is legal by there traditionsaid.
V3 In Jesus's answer he asks, What did Moses command you? The word command is entellomai[7] which is to say "to order, command to be done, enjoin" the people.
V4 They claim that Moses suffered or permitted[8] a man to write a bill of divorcement[9]. What was that bill <05612 ciphrah document> of divorcement <03748 këriythuwth>? And then there is the phrase "to put her away" is from the word apoluo meaning "set free".[6]
V5 Jesus makes it clear that Moses only allowed this form of divorce because of the "hardness"[10] of their hearts. It is not what God wanted. Moses even says he "may not take her again to be his wife". Deuteronomy 24:3 "And [if] the latter husband hate[11] her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth [it] in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her [to be] his wife; 4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that [is] abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance."
V6-12 Explain in more detail the nature of what we address in the article "Holy Matrimony", "Marriage", and the "permanency of marriage.
V13-16 After this discussion and teaching about marriage and family a small child is brought to Jesus and he emphasizes the importance children and the nature of children in the kingdom of God.
V17-23 A rich man runs to Jesus, kneels before him and calls him, Good Master". He wants to know what to do to inherit eternal life? What does eternal life actually mean? There is a great deal of ideologies and doctrines of men about this idea of eternal life. The question specifically is how do we inherit it. The kingdom of God, which we should be seeking, is for the living and there are those who have not inherit the Kingdom of God
Fruit of the kingdom of God is eternal life which only comes with repentance from the Corban of Herod and the Pharisees and the seeking of the Corban of Christ in his kingdom. There was no fruit coming from the sacrifice of the pharisees because it was no longer a freewill offering. Like their tables the tree of their temporal system of social welfare through legal charity was rooted[12] in the welfare state of Herod and the pharisees which was a clear [[covetous practice and therefore was not bearing fruit. The lack of fruit is cause of Jesus taking the kingdom from the Pharisees[13] but it would also bring darkness that degenerated the hearts and minds of the people and separate them from the promise of eternal life. There would be room their heart and mind for the light of the Logos of Christ nor for repentance.[14]
V24 The phrase "for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! The word here for riches is chrema[15] and not the normal word for riches which is plousios.[16] And the word we see as trust is peitho[17] which means persuade to the point they trust and have confidence in which takes us back to why did he use the word chrema instead of plousios?
The noun chrema is part of the verb chrematizo[18] which is defined "to transact business, esp. to manage public affairs; to advise or consult with one about public affairs".
We do not know who this rich person was but some speculate that it was Lazarus, the son of Simon the Pharisee. We know that he also loved this man and Lazarus.[19] We know that both men were rich and had a rich and probably influential father. The rich Lazarus dies in John 11 and is raised from the dead after death but there is another Lazarus mentioned in a parable which we see in Luke 16. This Lazarus also dies but is comforted while an unnamed rich man(plousios anthropos) suffers without relief after he dies. These three stories, in my mind, are related just as the use of the words chremaand the verb chrematizo[18] are important.
The verb chrematizo appears 9 times[20]
V27 Then we come to the question Who then can be saved? John 6:54 "Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."
This is eating his flesh, and drinking his blood is about the Corban of Christ and his Eucharist policy in a truly Christian community. Those policies found in the doctrine of Jesus were contrary to the Corban of Herod and the Pharisees which included covetous practices and Benefactors who exercise authority.
Those benefactors of the Public religion run through the government temples of Rome were overseen by the fathers of the earth[21] which Jesus as the Christ warned us about.
The authority to appeal to in those systems was the Son of God of that system, who was Caesar.
In the Old Testament we see the welfare that was a snare[22] and the policies of one purse, [23] dainties[24] of the rulers. Those systems were the Cities of blood which brought the bondage of Egypt and not unlike those of Nimrod and the present Mystery Babylon that the masses kick against. Understanding what it means to Bite one another and the two tables of social welfare and many more of the words of the holy scriptures.
The kingdom of God is here in spirit and truth. With the use of the Greek noun politeuma[25] in Philippians Paul is literally saying that our "administration of civil affairs", our citizenship is not of the"world" of Rome.[26] But our citizenship is in the kingdom of heaven.
Luke 22:29 "And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;"
Jesus the Christ who was another king[27] of those who would repent, seek the kingdom of God and the righteousness of God.
The Greek verb politeuomai,[28] meaning to be a citizen or "to administer civil affairs, manage the state" and is also from the Greek word polites meaning citizen[29] means "a citizen" of a government.
In Philippians 1:27 the words "Only let your conversation[28] be"[30] Paul is telling us “to behave only as a citizen” worthy of the Gospel of Christ which is the Gospel of the kingdom of God which Matthew will some times use a word translated "heaven"[31] to describe.
We see the same word translated conversation in Philippians translated have lived in Acts 23:1 "And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men [and] brethren, I have lived <4176>[28] in all good conscience before God until this day." This statement was so offensive that Ananias the high priest commanded Paul to be smitten contrary to the law.[32]
This ardor of hate attack was not just because he said I lived in good conscience but he said to the council[33] I have been a citizen in good conscience, basically attending to the civil affairs of the polis or government.
It was the Pharisees and Sadducees who conscience was seared with the Corban and public religion of Herod and Caesar.[34]
Questions | |
What is the baptism of fire?[35]
What is the consuming fire?[36]
What is strange fire?[37]
He taught the people
[1] And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort[1] unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.
Put away a wife
[2] And the Pharisees came to him, and asked[3] him, Is it lawful[5] for a man to put away[6] his wife? tempting him.
[3] And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?
Bill of divorcement
[4] And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement[9], and to put her away.
Hard hearts
[5] And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness[10] of your heart he wrote you this precept.
For this cause
[6] But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
[7] For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
[8] And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
[9] What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.[38]
The disciples asked again
[10] And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.
[11] And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
[12] And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
Young Child
[13] And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.
[14] But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
[15] Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
[16] And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
Inherit life
[17] And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
[18] And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.
[19] Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother.[39][40]
[20] And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.
Jesus loved him
[21] Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
[22] And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.
[23] And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God![41]
Trust in riches
[24] And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
[25] It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.[41]
Who can be saved
[26] And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?
[27] And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
[28] Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.
[29] And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
[30] But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world <165> to come eternal life.
[31] But many that are first shall be last[42] ; and the last first.
Going up to Jerusalem
[32] And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen unto him,
[33] Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests, and unto the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles:
[34] And they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
An ignorant request
[35] And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.
[36] And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?
[37] They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
Baptism of fire
[38] But Jesus said unto them, know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
[39] And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
But to sit
[40] But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.
[41] And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.
Not rulers
[42] But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
[43] But so shall it not be among you[2]: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
[44] And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
[45] For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life[43] a ransom for many.
Coming to Jericho
[46] And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.
[47] And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
[48] And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
The blind man
[49] And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.
[50] And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.
[51] And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
[52] And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

- Matthew 6:8 "Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen."

- The Fathers of the earth assume the natural role of the father of the family. Like the Conscripti Patri or the Patronus of Rome who become the benefactors of the masses offering them benefits and dainties from their civil tables of social welfare which are not only a snare, but destroy liberty, making the people merchandise. The Church established by Jesus would seek to have a daily ministration of Pure Religion through fervent charity.
- ↑ Table as a snare

- 1 Timothy 6:9 "But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
- "Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?" Isaiah 40:21 is about the message of John the Baptist who was "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God" Isaiah 40:3 to avoid the "snare" of the legal charity of the welfare state which which makes the word of God to none effect bringing man back into captivity as human resources.

- 2 Peter 2:15-20, “15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. 18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. 20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.”

[them that are] weaned from the milk, [and] drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept [must be] upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little:
- Malachi 1:7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the LORD [is] contemptible.
