Hate

Without the daily cultivation of love the masses will degenerate until they seek Rulers, like Nimrod and Saul who will resort to the use of force to provide the tables of Welfare that will become a snare. The people who have an appetite for the wages of unrighteousness will not love the light nor truth until darkness and hate becomes their constant companion.
Hate
Some have been taught that a Christian's job is to suffer and be willing to be hated for Christ.
It would seem a Christian's "job" would be to follow "The Way" of Christ, be doers of the Word, and also turn away from that which He said not do, especially those things that "make the word of God to none effect".
Originally one of His first directives was to repent and seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
Hate you
Other instructions were to love God and your neighbor as your self. But we are also told to love our enemy and even those who "hate you".
Matthew 5:44 "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;"
Anyone can make enemies but that is not our job to do so. But it seems our job is to love our enemy.
To be hated is not the point nor the goal. Christ gives us a detailed explanation of the condition for whom is hated and why if we have eyes to see and ears to hear.
John 15:18 "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me."
Who or what is the world?
This will be essential to have a thorough understand of what the word world means in the context of biblical verses since there are several different Greek words translated world.
What does it mean to be in the world but not of the world?
How does one become "of the world"?
And how does your religion become spotted by the world and made no longer Pure religion?
If we understand what and why the Corban of the Pharisees makes the word of God to none effect" we may have a better grasp on the true nature and fulness of the Doctrine of Jesus the Christ.
Corban means "sacrifice". That sacrifice provided a social safety net for ancient societies But it is the "means and method" of that sacrifice which degenerates the soul of society or cause it to bear fruit.
Herod and Caesar implemented the former system based on force, fear, and fealty. Once those governments obtained the consent of the people, those governments of the world used their newly granted power to exercise authority[1] to take from the people so they could set their Table of government benefits and dainties for the welfare of the people who became members of the system "of that world".
David said this was a snare and a trap, Paul agreed. Peter warned that these system as "legal charity" would make the people merchandise and eventually curse children.
While John the Baptist, Jesus, and the early Church preached and pursued the means and method rooted in faith, hope and charity.[2] It required that every one loved their neighbor and not bite[3] one another through the teeth of the benefactors of the world who exercise authority one[1] over the other.
Paul spoke of the two tables where one was snare and the other rightly divide bread from house to house.
____
1 John 3:11 "For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. 13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you."
John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
Hate and humanity
Hate and the feelings it creates may increases activity in areas of your brain that are involved with aggression and strategic evaluation, while silencing empathy.
“If hate becomes chronic, we lose our humanity.”[4]
While the generation of hate may deactivate The right superior frontal gyrus (SFG) which is a region of the prefrontal cortex primarily associated with impulse control, inhibitory control, and motor urgency, it also plays a critical role in the proactive control of impulsive responses. Its activation during conflict or the anticipation of it is positively correlated with the capacity for response inhibition and negatively correlated with motor urgency.
Brake failure
But the rehearsal of or the entertaining of thoughts of hate in the mind may become addictive which overtime may cut off or even dampen the empathetic desire to be understanding of others’ and their feelings.
Hate may literally restrict or even deactivate the individual brain's ability to be empathetic.
An individual who chooses to hate cuts off the neural “brakes” in their own mind that keeps aggressive impulses in check. The hater will even become irrational and fixated in their mind on the target of their hate. Anyone even suggesting that their hate is unjustified also becomes a target of their now irrational hate.
As their emotions impair the neural "brakes" that normally control aggressive impulses the individual may become obsessed by aggressive thoughts of violence and compulsively act out what is processed in their imagination without normal reservation.
Once the process begins their ability to choose, self regulate, or override emotional bias in the heat of the moment is diminished or completely absent.
The mechanics of hate
The Prefrontal Cortex (PFC), including particular regions like the dorsolateral PFC[5] and medial PFC[6], acts as the brain's primary "brake" by exerting top-down control over limbic structures such as the amygdala[7], which drives aggressive and emotional responses. This system should allow for objective evaluation of consequences and the suppression of inappropriate reactions but may become impaired by the repetition of hateful thoughts.
These neuro pathways or "Hate Circuit" can be activated, triggered, by merely seeing the hated person, hearing their voice, or even the mentioning of their name. These specific brain networks involve putamen[8] and the anatomically adjacent insula[9], which are both linked to aggression and motor preparation. This suggests the brain becomes primed for action, potentially bypassing reflective control.
Research indicates that conditions like emotional trauma or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or just chronic stress are associated with structural damage and functional changes in the basal ganglia.
Studies have found reduced volume in parts of the basal ganglia, such as the putamen, in individuals with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Children's brains have shown microstructural abnormalities in the putamen with signs of altered white matter integrity. These findings suggest that emotional trauma and any chronic stress can lead to significant alterations in the basal ganglia, affecting its roles in motor control, functional cognition, and the regulation of emotion.
Choice decreases as damage is done. The choice is earlier in the process. Just like someone who chooses to drink may loose the ability to drive safely causing damage, destruction and death due to their choice to become impaired.
Hate addiction
Hateful thoughts can become addictive as they trigger the release of chemicals in the brain associated with reward and arousal.
Engaging in hate activates neural circuits that release dopamine, a key neurotransmitter in the brain's reward system, creating a powerful "high" similar to that induced by drugs like cocaine or methamphetamine.
This neurochemical rush provides feelings of power, purpose, and superiority, which may reinforce the individuals behavior and making it difficult to stop and consider alternatives.
The opiate of inhumanity
To sustain a hate addiction that emotional release is often shared within groups that support the particulars of the the process affirming the position of the addicts. To establish a community identity that reinforces the behavior and provides comforting reassurance the individual may join a religion or a political party or social group. Just gathering permits "free hits" of the neurochemical reward, further cementing the addiction.
Functional imaging through wearing certain garments, hats, fringes or other symbols, like solutes, hand signs or repeating certain phrases or slogans produce reassuring reactions. If clinically monitored it would reveal that hate circuitry systems activate a specific neurological network involving the putamen and insula.
This circuit's activation can become self-reinforcing until the individual is hardwired for hate.
Addiction withdrawal
Tolerance[10] is a virtue but land Withdrawal: Like substance addiction, the "high" from hate wears off quickly, leading individuals to seek out more "hate targets" to repeat the experience, building a tolerance. The brain becomes primed to seek out negative stimuli, making it harder to disengage.
People often need Social Reinforcement in the act of hating, especially when directed at an "outgroup." That reinforcement can produce pleasurable sensations. This is where the home group becomes the comforter but also isolates members of the group from others. Research on former hate group members shows their experience of disengagement is comparable to drug addiction recovery, with the hate identity itself acting as a dopamine activator.
To truly be free of the addiction there must be a replacement activity and relationship.
Healing the mind through repentance
Meditation or mindfulness can help regulate the dopamine release associated with hateful thoughts. But with numerous other practices listed by Christ in the Testaments can contribute to the healing of both mind and soul.
Mindfulness does not instantly "stop" the neurochemical cascade but works by changing the brain's relationship to the craving and reward cycle. It strengthens the prefrontal cortex's top-down control over the limbic system, including areas involved in the "hate circuit" and dopamine-driven reward seeking. That is a lot and the healing takes time and often some support from others who see the same healing or have already experienced and overcome some of this damage.

Leviticus 26:14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; 15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: 16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. 17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you[11] shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you. 18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins. 19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: 20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits. 21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
Deuteronomy 24:3 "And [if] the latter husband hate[11] her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth [it] in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her [to be] his wife;"
