Eliezer of Damascus

After the events of Genesis 14 and the blessing of the righteous king of peace, Melchizedek king of Salem,[1] was bestowed upon Abram as Abraham. Seeing Melchizedek was "of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth" who was also brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God this blessing gave Abraham and his descendants a right as heirs[2].

Genesis 14:19 "And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor(qōnêh קֹנֵ֖ה)[3] of heaven and earth: 20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all."

Steward of Damascus

Genesis 15:2 "And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus? 3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed:[4] and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir."

Who or what is the steward((mešeq מֶ֣שֶׁק))MemShinKuf heir, in possession[5] of my house (בֵּיתִ֔י)?

Those who lived in the house of Abraham lived by faith, hope, and charity.

The governments of the world like Nimrod of Babylon, King Bera of Sodom, Terah in Haran were system where the people were subjects and treated as possessions or human resources.

Those systems taxed the people, forced the offerings of the people while Abraham and Melchizedek relied on freewill offerings in the form of tithe.

Those cities of blood all had one purse[6] and men who exercise authority one over the other. The desire for their dainties and benefits, their wages of unrighteousness was a covetous practice[7] and therefore idolatry.[8]

Helper of Damascus

Is this Eliezer (AlefLamedYod אֱלִיעֶזֶר) of Dammesequs(דַּמֶּ֥שֶׂק)[9] a man from the city of Damascus?

By tradition "Eliezer" has been counted as the name of Abraham's steward who was supposedly a possessor.[5] Abraham was setting captives free and the people who followed him did the same.

It was true that there was no heir of the flesh for Abraham's blessing. But Abraham unlike Nimrod, Terah or Laban did not possess the people as a ruler.

Abraham was not like the king of Sodom either who saw the people as livestock[10] and possessions.[11]

In Genesis 2:8 we see the word "help".[12] meet.[13]

Man or Means

Was Eliezer[14] an individual who was a slave or servant of Abraham or a reference to the means and method of all his followers who served God according to the way off God in reference to what Abraham was doing that was contrary to the Nimrods, Abimelechs, Pharaohs, and the Fathers of the earth who exercise authority one over the other as the rulers of men.

Across the scriptural record Eliezer (’ĕlî‘ezer אֱלִיעֶֽזֶר׃)[14] may appear as the name of men whose lives illustrate the Lord’s sustaining help. Whether servant, son, priest, administrator, prophet, or reformer, every man should be an Eliezer who stands in a setting where divine assistance, warning, or provision is highlighted, underscoring the reliability of God’s covenant care and love for one another makes us all selfless servants of God from generation to generation.

Abram had many souls who followed him when he left Haran because of his compassionate sacrifice for others. The way of Nimrod led to people being sacrificed for the common good or what the rulers thought was good.

Those who followed Abraham were the peculiar people of faith who tithed to him through a network of charitable Altars as Abram tithed to Melchizedek king of Salem,[1]

The people who followed the way of Abraham were his offspring or seed,[4] born of his faith.[15]

Abram was childless except for the people he served. Dammesequs[9] was not just a place but a place of charity, clarification, and righteousness, that all provide a fountain that gives life to the eternal flame and the redemption through the divine spark by faith which was the essential ingredient of the Gospel of the kingdom.

Letters of a name

Was Eliezer (AlefLamedYodAyinZayinReish אֱלִיעֶזֶר)[16] just a name or being from 'el and ezer; God of help; So who or what was the steward of Abraham?

Eliezer ( אֱלִיעֶזֶר)

A man as a steward מֶשֶׁק‎ mesheq or a way where all the people cared for one another creating social bonds of righteousness because they provided for one another through Freewill offerings of Moses, the charity, and loveof Jesus rather than the covetous practices of the world of Rome forbidden by Christ.

If the kingdom is from generations to generation then being childless is the end of you inheritance. And his servant were a part of his house.

Was the trope of Genesis 24:12: "And he said(wayyōmar וַיֹּאמַ֓ר׀)[17]" an actual conflict for the heart of the servant with the name Eliezer of Damascus or was his prayer the natural utterance of a man who lived by faith?
