In Egypt under the Pharaoh 20% of your labor belonged to the government of Pharaoh as if you were employed and they called it the Bondage of Egypt. All over the world today people pay much more of their labor to the government and call it freedom.
But because the people desired benefits from men who call themselves Benefactors we have returned to bondage. We were told to 'never return to the bondage of Egypt but people did under Herod and Rome, and in the United States under FDR. It was also called a corvee system of statutory labor or the bondage of Egypt. Jesus told us to think a different way and to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Are we in need of learning the lessons of Exodus?

If you do not earn the rest by working first for "Six days you are not keeping the sabbath. But if you do work should you be put to death? What does the word work even mean? There are numerous words translated work. Here we see [2]
V3 "kindle a" fire is בָּעַר‎ ba‘ar[3] but appears in the text as תְבַעֲר֣וּ ṯəḇa‘ărū one time and can mean stupid and brutish" even "to be grazed".
The term for dwelling is מוֹשָׁב mowshab[4] MemVavShinBeit. The term that appears in the text is מֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם mōwōšəḇōṯêḵem which is MemShinBeitTavYodKafMem.
5v Take ... an offering (tëruwmah)[5] unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing (nadiyb)[6] heart, ... bring an offering (tëruwmah)[5] of the LORD.
There is a long list of materials that define more than the tabernacle and and garments but also represented deeper message and meaning in symbols.
V6 Why "blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair"?

V16 "The altar of burnt offering[8]"

Beged[9] means garment but also treachery and deceit.
22v ...were willing[6] hearted... and every man that offered[10] offered an offering[11]... unto the LORD.

5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing[6] heart, let him bring it, an offering[5] of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

The offering

16 The altar of burnt offering[8], with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

17 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,

18 The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,

Garments

19 The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

Spirit and heart willing

21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing,[5] and they brought the LORD'S offering[5] to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service[15], and for the holy garments.

22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing[6] hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered[10] offered an offering[11] of gold unto the LORD.

23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.

24 Every one that did offer[16] an offering[5] of silver and brass brought the LORD'S offering[5]: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.

25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.

27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering[12] unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing[13] to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
