Verse 1-8 Is the return of the righteous king of Peace according to the order of Melchisedec who was both priest and king. Jesus had been doing what John the Baptist had been doing from the beginning. He had been preaching the Kingdom of God was at hand and His righteousness while calling the people to repent, which is to say "think differently". | |
According to Jesus if we seek that kingdom of God and the righteousness of God and all that would include everything else we need would be provided. That kingdom of God was one form of government that was different from the governments of the world that exercised authority one over the other. | |

John the Baptist's father Zacharias had been a part of the government of Judea. John had apparently returned from Parthia. As a child he was endanger from the threat of Herod's political ambitions. Upon his return from exile he began to preach that people need to think differently about the tables of their welfare. | |
Herod and the Pharisees provided welfare for the care of the widows and orphans, the needy and infirm through a treasury filled with the sacrifices called corban but it was making the word of God to none effect because it depended upon the Fathers of earth who exercised authority one over the other.[5] | |
Jesus and his disciples had been setting up a governmental system of health, education, and welfare for the care of the people but unlike the governments of the world which operates by force, fear, and fealty through oaths of allegiance the kingdom of God, by faith, hope, and charity. | |

The means and methods of Christ differed from that of the Pharisees and Rome and their Corban. Christ was the king of peace and like Moses [6] he relied upon freewill sacrifice and peace offerings. | |
Many would reject the doctrine of Jesus and those who followed the way of Christ and the Logos of Jesus and hold to the doctrines of men even to the persecution of those who rejected the covetous practices of the world of Herod's civil Law, the religiosly dogmatic pharisees, and the self-righteous Imperial Cult of Rome. | |
The Christians were legaly able to separate from the public religion of the world because of the wisdom of the word of God and the Sacrifice and logos of Jesus. | |

The kingdom of God is the opposite of any form of socialism and Jesus opposed those anti capitalist systems. | |

Nigh to Jerusalem

Find colt

Hosanna

[32] But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
[33] And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
