Other words like 2036 epo to just say or speak and 5346 premise would mean to just say or speak and generally just refers to an individual expression or speech respectively. The author chose not to use reho 4483 nor laleo 2980 meaning merely to speak, tell, or utter. It was these false priests of public religion who enjoyeď the power that came to them through the legal charity of the social welfare state who called out "Crucify him"! |

If Jesus was just a criminal the issue of being the king, and therefore the Messiah becomes less significant. Jesus and probably the other two who were crucified and also Jesus BarAbbas were all probably revolutionaries. Those who claimed Jesus was revolting denied he was king. |

Pontius Pilate believed and proclaimed Jesus was the king.[8] |
Pharisees did not believe he was rightful king of the Kingdom of God for they denied the nature of pure Religion for they were wise in their own eyes. Their eyes were darkened and while the proclaimed and confesses Moses with their lips their heart was far from and what he taught. |
Herod Antipas may have also believed Jesus was the rightful king, hence his giving of the gorgeous robe.[7] So, Herod Antipas and Pontius Pilate were both in agreement about Jesus being the king which is why they became friends. |
The professional soldiers working for Herod Antipas did not like Jesus being the King for there was to be no professional army (calvary)[11] in the kingdom of God. |
There was "no king" sitting on the Throne in Jerusalem. |
Kingdom of God Was a government of the people, for the people and by the people.[12] |

V38 What was the symbolism of the vail in the Old Testament? The Hebrew word for this Veil is poreketh[13] which is a word from פֶרֶךְ perek meaning "harshness, severity, cruelty". Here we see veil from the Greek word katapetasma[14] which is a vail that separated the Holy Place from the outer court, the other veiled the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place. Theologian Timothy Johnson says that the tearing of the temple vail symbolized “the end of the old covenant of atonement through animal sacrifice and the beginning of a 'new covenant'”. That of course is a popular belief but that is also utter nonsense void of understanding the logos of Moses. The animal sacrifice was never about a mindless ritual of killing animals by blood letting any more than casting your bread upon the water is about tossing unleavened bread into the lake. The altars were never about piles of dead stone nor the burning carcases of sheep and cows. It was about freewill offerings made by the people who have to take care of the needy of society in a daily ministration of pure religion. It was about laying down a portion of your life through freewill offerings out of love of your fellow man. It was about a social welfare of pure Religion that was not a snare and a trap that made the people human resources because such covetousness is idolatry.[15] |
The temple would be destroyed by a Caesar professed by the pharisees. It would burnt the temple with all its records, loot its trasury and enslave the people, despursing them. They had no protection because as the synagogue of Satan the had abandoned the way of the Moses, prophets, and Christ for the corban of Babylon and Nimrod. |
The kingdom of God was appointed to other Jews who eventually were called Christians. The descendents of those Jews in denial can repent and seek the kingdom of God. The people of the modern Church who have gone the way of benefactors who exercise authority one over the other may also repent and gather to build the temple made without hands, of living stone. Trying to duplicate the temple we see at the time of Christ is merely duplicating the sin of the Nicolaitan and the error of Balaam. |
Ezekiel 43:9-12 “9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases[16] of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever. 10 Thou son of man, shew the house(habbayiṯ HeyBeitYodTav הַבַּ֔יִת temple) to the house(BeitYodTav בֵּֽית־ house) of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. 11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances[17] thereof, and all the forms[18] thereof, and all the laws[19] thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them. 12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. V39 Was the same centurion of Matthew 8[20] and Luke 7[21] Why was Christianity so popular with some Roman soldiers and Christ himself seemed to be hated by and mocked by other soldiers as we see in Matthew 27[22] in Luke 27 [23] and even in John 19[24]? Being a soldier drew two kinds of people. There are those with a sense of duty, responsibility and self sacrifice. And the there are those professional soldiers who are inlove with power, oppression, and their pension. |
Jesus did not come to bring peace[25] but division.[26] The conflict in the world will be centered upon the distinction seen between the word and doctrine of Jesus and the doctrines of men seen in the corban of Herod and the Pharisees. The leaven of their ideology and covetous practices not only divides them from the divine will but from each other. |
Jesus' kingdom of God was an entirely different form of government. If some one were to lable its form it could be called a pure Republic in the tradition of the libera res publica. |
But that one form of government, like capitalism does not establish a morality of righteousness but only allows choice. A divine morality only comes to those who will hear and see the whole truth of the full logos of Christ. You cannot leave out nor neglect parts of the Gospel of the kingdom[12] without preaching a lie. |
V40-41 tells that there was not only Mary Magdalene[27] , and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;" but also "many other women which came up with him unto Jerusalem." What were they doing in their ministering? |
V43 Joseph of Arimathea, and honourable counseller[28], which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly[29] unto Pontius Pilate, and craved[30] the body of Jesus. |
V44 Pontius Pilate was surprised that Jesus was dead already. Why? |
V45 But he released the body by the testimony of the centurion. Did the centurion come with 'Joseph of Arimathea'? Was it the same "centurion" of faith, the one who just said, Truly this man was the Son of God And would have to testify as an eye witness. Joseph of Arimathea was a smart man of a high rank and would know that Pontius Pilate was a man of law and would need to verify before releasing the body. |
Pontius Pilate had also issued the superscription that Jesus was the rightfull King_of_the_Jews |
V46-47 verifies Jesus was placed in the tomb hewn out of a rock, and a large stone was placed over the door with two Mary's as witness. |
Trial by the Sanhedrin

Festival release
[6] Now at that feast he released unto them one prisoner, whomsoever they desired.
[7] And there was one named Barabbas, which lay bound with them that had made insurrection with him, who had committed murder in the insurrection.
[8] And the multitude crying aloud began to desire him to do as he had ever done unto them.
[9] But Pilate answered them, saying, 'Will ye that I release unto you the King of the Jews?
Delivered for envy
[10] For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.
[11] But the chief priests moved the people, that he should rather release Barabbas unto them.
What will ye then
[12] And Pilate answered and said again unto them, What will ye then that I shall do unto him whom ye call the King of the Jews?
[13] And they cried out again, Crucify him.
[14] Then Pilate said unto them, Why, what evil hath he done? And they cried out the more exceedingly, Crucify him.
Contenting the people
[15] And so Pilate, willing to content the people, released Barabbas unto them, and delivered Jesus, when he had scourged him, to be crucified.
[16] And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
[17] And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head,
[18] And began to salute him, Hail, King of the Jews!
[19] And they smote him on the head with a reed, and did spit upon him, and bowing their knees worshipped him.
[20] And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him, and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.
Bear his cross
[21] And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.
[22] And they bring him unto the place Golgotha, which is, being interpreted, The place of a skull.
Received it not
[23] And they gave him to drink wine mingled with myrrh: but he received it not.
[24] And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments[7], casting lots upon them, what every man should take.
[25] And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
The superscription
[26] And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS.[8][9]
[27] And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left.

[29] And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, and saying, Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,
[30] Save thyself, and come down from the cross.

[32] Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.

The soldier of faith
[39] And when the centurion, which stood over against him, saw that he so cried out, and gave up the ghost, he said, Truly this man was the Son of God.

[40] There were also women looking on afar off: among whom was Mary Magdalene[27] , and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;
[41] (Who also, when he was in Galilee, followed him, and ministered unto him;) and many other women which came up with him unto Jerusalem.
The Passover preparation
[42] And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
[43] Joseph of Arimathaea, and honourable counseller, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
[44] And Pilate marvelled[32] if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.
[45] And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
[46] And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.
[47] And Mary Magdalene[27] and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.
