The Sin of Sodom and Gomorrah for which they were destroyed was because they could not find ten righteous men.[1]
|
That destruction was clearly connected to a snare and net[3] mentioned in Psalm..." [4] Proverbs 1, and Paul.[5] |
The Corban of the Pharisees undermined the relation of the family mentioned in verse 5 so children did no more ought for their parents which is a goal of communism. |
Nimrod in Genesis 10:9 and Esau in Genesis 25:27 were hunters but here we see a similar but different word where brother hunts[6] the blood of brother in verse 2.[7] |
Questions |
Have we returned to The mire and do we see people who have become perfect savages who rioting in the streets? Have we been biting one another lurking privily for gain greedily at the expense of our brother through covetous practices by applying to rulers who call themselves benefactors. Will God Hear us when we cry out? |
Have we elected men who could exercise authority against the warnings of 1 Samuel 8 rather than gathering in the name of Jesus and as Christ commanded? |
If you are saved by the flesh and blood of Jesus why do you eat of the Flesh pots of the world and drink the blood of your neighbor through those covetous practices of the Imperial Cult of Rome? |
Early Christians were in conflict with the Corban of Herod, the Pharisees, and Rome so why does the Modern Christian have such an appetite for the wages of unrighteousness and "the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked"[8] which is where the workers of iniquity live? |
We should attend to the weightier matters by seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness. |
The solution remains the way of Christ and doing what he commanded and forming a daily ministration through a network of charity and love. |

Wait for the God of Salvation
1 ¶ Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit. 2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood[9]; they hunt[6] every man his brother with a net.[7] 3 That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward[10]; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire:[11] so they wrap it up. 4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity. 5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. 6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.
7 Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.[12] 8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness[13], the LORD shall be a light unto me. 9 I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness. 10 Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets. 11 In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed. 12 In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain. 13 Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.
14 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel[14]: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old. 15 According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things. 16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.
God's Steadfast Love and Compassion
18
Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
19
He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
20
Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

- ↑ Genesis 18:23 "And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? 24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that [are] therein? 25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? 26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes. 27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which [am but] dust and ashes: 28 Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for [lack of] five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy [it]. 29 And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do [it] for forty’s sake. 30 And he said [unto him], Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do [it], if I find thirty there. 31 And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for twenty’s sake. 32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy [it] for ten’s sake.

- Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. 13 Their throat [is] an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps [is] under their lips: 14 Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness: 15 Their feet [are] swift to shed blood: 16 Destruction and misery [are] in their ways: 17 And the way of peace have they not known: 18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
- Proverbs 1:10 ¶ My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.11 If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit:13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:14 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird.18 And they lay wait for their [own] blood; they lurk privily for their [own] lives.19 So [are] the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; [which] taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
