What is Babylon?
What is the "city[1] and tower[2]" of Babel we see in Genesis 11? Was the "city[1] and tower[2]" like Babylon, a civil system?
Were they a metaphor for the city of blood spoken of by Jeremiah[3], Ezekiel[4], Hosea[5], Nahum[6], Habakkuk[7], and even Revelation.[8]?
Which way can we go to be Exiting Babylon?
The word Babylon is from the Hebrew word Babel meaning confusion by mingling. The Babylonian system was a One purse system based on the covetous practices of socialism with Nimrod's officers of his welfare state as the Benefactors of society. The way society "mingles" or relates to one another may degenerate them into perfect savages through becoming accustomed to the covetous practices of the world. Nimrod's city and tower was to provide protection in the form of a social security system that would make the people merchandise.
What is Babylon and which way is the exit?

Babylon

What Babylon

A question arises "What is Babylon?" And with an honest examination it is answered with an in-depth study of Cain's first city State, Nimrod's Babylon, Pharaoh's treasure cities and even with Caesar's Rome.

All these systems provided for the welfare of the people in a way that made them subject to the state and weak. They brought the people into bondage making them merchandise, property of the state and would also curse children for generations.

The mystery

The Mystery of Babylon is the secret of how men are brought into bondage to systems of governments of men like Cain, Nimrod, the Fathers of the earth, and other Benefactors who exercise authority one over the and through covetous practices and willingness to appease their wantonness at the expense of others.

The ancient power of rulers who offer their dainties at the expense of liberty is evident throughout history according to Proverbs and Plutarch. It is what they offer upon their civil tables that should have been for their welfare but becomes a snare for the masses which makes men subject and little more than merchandise but also curses the next generation with the Bondage of Egypt.

The appetite for benefits at the expense of others alters the people and their own thinking such that the voice of the people fail to see that they are degenerating again into perfect savages and find once more a master and monarch. The truth that they are Babylon is a mystery but revealed only to those who will hear the truth in their hearts and minds which brings us to the question:

  • "Are men the property of the state? Or are they free souls under God? This same battle continues throughout the world?" Cecil B. DeMille in "The Ten Commandments."

If man is the property of the State this would bring us to an even more important question.

What is Redemption?

Redemption

"Redemption is deliverance from the power of an alien dominion and the enjoyment of the resulting freedom. It involves the idea of restoration to one who possesses a more fundamental right or interest. The best example of redemption in the Old Testament was the deliverance of the children of Israel from bondage, from the dominion of the alien power in Egypt." Zondervan's Pictorial Encyclopedia of the Bible, the word "redemption"

Secret sabbath

The ways of Babylon were and are to take your "rest" and then owe thy work, your labor... this is opposed to the precept of the Sabbath which is to do the work first and then receive the reward of your efforts.

The Sabbath is about avoiding debt from taking benefits from alien powers and their gods many spoken of by Paul. The Sabbath is about The Way not about a day.

We see this in Revelation 18:4 "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, ..." This is not just being called out of sin but being called out of the sin of Babylon.

Babylon is an assembly too, like the one purse of Proverbs.

God calls men out to be Believers and to do according to His way as we see from the beginning:

  • "And thou shalt teach them ordinances and laws, and shalt shew them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do." Exodus 18:20

One of those laws is that thou shall not covet.

"This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John." Acts 18:25

Ideally, God instructs the people for no man should have to teach his brother for all shall know the Father.

This means that we must see and hear the truth when we are shown and told it. This only possible if it is already written on our hearts and minds.[9]

The way of Babylon

Babylon was not a place as much as it was a way but only in the sense that it has become a modern term describing an ancient system that was used to organize people in a society and subsequently regulated then into comfortable submission.

The progression of the life of Babylon's development and expansion as its power and influence magnifier at the expense of personal liberty and the degeneration of the social bonds which distribute the life giving blood of freedom.

The blood of freedom is sacrifice, not just in the heat of battle against thieves and robbers, oppressors and tyrants but as social capital that sacrifice is the issued currency that nurtures the heart of a free society. Without a daily ministration through charity that heart will falter and fail.

Without the daily sacrifice of each soul in society, by individual choice, for their neighbors' welfare and not merely their own, the body of society will wither and die. The love required in the care of every family in society brings eternal life to the flesh and sinew of each community of families from which successive generation shall be born.

“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”-Plato

You can only have a free society and a government of the people, by the people, and for the people when people care about their neighbors' rights as much as they care about their own. Neighbors helping neighbors paves the road to liberty.

The road to Babylon is where the masses have an appetite for the dainties of rulers and the "deceitful meats" they offer at their tables of legal charity provided for your welfare are a actually a snare which will make you merchandise and curse the next generation.

The Way of Babylon returns the people to the bondage of Egypt bringing them into captivity where the people sit in darkness and the heart failes, and the flesh corrupts[10], until only dry bones remain.[11]

Avoiding or exiting Babylon may begin on the same road but in the opposite direction which requires you to go in the other way, which is Repentance.

Exiting Babylon

A lot of people think they are exiting Babylon when they are really just getting lost in the wilderness.

So, what is Babylon?

If it is more a way than a place, a way of hearts and souls.

Some suggest that Babylon is an ecclesiastical Babylon, a "church" that Jesus did not establish, while others state that, "Babylon is a system that encompasses the realm of economics, religion, political and social structures."

Some suggest that Babylon refers to the "world" or the New World Order as a system composed of evil rulers and despots who have a Satanic, or anti-Christ spirit.

All views may be correct depending upon where you are standing and at what time you catch site of its image.

Nimrod was a mighty provider who subjugated the people with offers of various dainties and benefits, appealing to the slothful nature or the fleshly Wantonness of the people.

The Nimrods of the world, or rulers of Babylon, get people to elect to grant them power as their rulers in hope of obtaining their wages of unrighteousness and gain promised by their purse and tables.

Those benefits are the "deceitful meat" we are warned of in Proverbs 23 that they are a snare and makes us merchandise according to Paul and Peter.

Why?

Because to obtain those gifts, gratuities and benefits, these benefactors must take from your neighbor to provide your social Welfare. These covetous practices not only make people merchandise but curse their children as sureties for debt but the degenerate the social bonds of free societies.

Because the people have to pledge their service[12] to obtain those benefits, their rulers and lawmakers are able to borrow funds in their name, which make them sureties for debt. Once the debt is established and people have become Human Resources, dissolving the bands which have connected you with another[13] is not as easy as it might have been in 1776.

This binding of people together in a civil cauldron of Bondage is a common theme of the Bible.[14]

  • So, can we Exit Babylon?
  • How does one do that?
  • Do you think Exiting Babylon will set us free?
  • Or will it be a leap into the fire?

People often suggest there is some special paperwork. It is true that paper evidence, which is personal testimony, can play a part, but it is not the essential element that sets us free.

To imagine that you can throw off supposed oppressors or usurpers by filing papers cannot be a Biblical solution.

  • Could the Israelites in Egypt throw off the Pharaoh with Moses's paper work?
  • Did Jesus or John preach to throw off the government of the Pharisees by filing papers?

The Bible and common sense should make it clear what to do once we understand what we have done, how we got into bondage again.

Going back is simply doing the opposite of what got us here in the first place. Yet, people still want to know how to separate themselves from that world without fully.

All one has to do is Repent to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness in every aspect of life and every relationship. Repentance is thinking differently and the Kingdom of God is not a place as much as it is a way. In fact it is The Way.

Now righteousness of God is a matter of a combination of justice and mercy through giving and forgiving. This is the circumcision of the heart which Paul talks about in his letter to the Romans.

  • Romans 2:29 "But he [is] a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision [is that] of the heart, in the spirit, [and] not in the letter; whose praise [is] not of men, but of God."

God provides for those who love their neighbor as themselves through Faith, Hope and Charity according to the Perfect law of liberty. If we apply, or pray, for benefits from Benefactors who exercise authority instead of the Lord God of Creation, we become Merchandise and our children are also bound. It will entangle us in the Elements of the World from generation to generation.

Freedom is a gift from God. Getting out of Babylon will not set you free. It is the truth that sets you free. Knowing the truth about your own covetousness, wantonness and sloth is as important, if not more important, than knowing the truth about the world of Mystery Babylon. And the truth is, the more you seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness the more free you will become.

Yes, to be free and out, one must give up ALL benefits of Mystery Babylon the Great or the Imperial Cult of Rome or any system where force is used to obtain benefits ... including, but not limited to:

You might still owe income tax, if you were to get some income. So I would not include giving up filing income tax returns if required by law.

But it is likely you would have no income since you could not use your National Insurance Number, or if in the United States, a Social Security Number or any other Mark or number of the Beast system which you might be required to have to enter the marketplace. Using that number provided by your respective government, which is linked to the other world governments by international treaties and agreements, would be using a system of Corban that makes the word of God to none effect.

Rome had its Patronus and Conscripted fathers; its Pater Patriae‎.

Since history repeats itself, there is not much difference between Rome and the United States.

Both went the way of Socialism, but the Socialist wants to blame Capitalism.

Calling no man on earth Father was important enough for Jesus to decree that we should not go that way or pray or apply to the Fathers of the earth who are the men who call themselves Benefactors but exercise authority.

Some suggest that you can control your own birth certificate.

Is the answer really just about becoming nakedly Undocumented?

I seriously doubt that is true nor does it address being a surety.

  • Could it be about who your Father is?
  • Who do you pray to, apply to, look to for your security and salvation?

What is the difference between pray and apply, or security and salvation? There was no difference to the early Christian. This is what the Christian conflict was all about.

Over the last half century I have seen many different processes, and almost all of them fail to be righteous in their legal logic. This takes us back to the questions:

  • Could the Israelites in Egypt throw off the Pharaoh?
  • Did Jesus or John preach to throw off the government of the Pharisees or Caesar?

No... the plan was that you learn The Way of the Kingdom of God first, which is a matter requiring repentance.

To be bound by love instead of contract, faith instead of allegiance, and trusting in hope through charity and honor rather than entitlements is clearly a key to the kingdom.

Anyone just wanting to be free can come out and think they are free, but they will come out naked and without the grace of God. Are we not required to love one another? I see few gathering and sharing a provision for a Daily ministration.

I have not examined every process, so I cannot say for sure, but the idea that one can become a government of one, and remove themselves as surety does not make much sense in any form. There is debt owed to third parties for which US citizens are a surety. You say you are going to take over control of that surety note, which does not leave you free by any means. It simply means you now personally owe the note, and you are directly answerable to the third party.

It is our own Covetous Practices that make us Merchandise. The Bible and common sense tells us they do.

If we have been made merchandise through our covetousness, how do we undo that?

  • By refusing to pay the debt we and our parents created by going to Public schools?
  • By divorcing our spouse or abandoning our children and our responsibility to family?
  • By letting our parents take Social Security benefits rather than provide for them?
  • By failing to provide a daily ministration through charity for our neighbors? ...

People are guilty of all of these things many times over and worse.

Refusing to pay debt, or abandoning others to pay the debt accrued by you or your parents is neither righteousness nor love.

Coming out is not where you start, unless you are like the Levites when the Golden calf was first set up and you answered Moses' call to come out; or unless you are like the Ministers of the early Church answering Jesus' call to come follow him.

Seeking the Kingdom of God, Pure Religion, a charitable Daily ministration and the Corban of Christ is where you must begin, according to all instructions and precedents.

Do you really have the love of Christ?

Are you laying down your life daily?

Do you only love those who love you?

I can assure all that without a Daily ministration on a broad scale like Israel and the Early Church or even Abraham's altars, there does not seem to be any commonality with The Way of Christ and the prophets, taken together with a plan to just get out.

What debt

What debt you may ask?

  • Did you go to Public schools?
  • Did you honor and take care of your Father and Mother?[15]
  • Did they collect Social Security from a bankrupt system?
  • Did they depend on the State and the collective over which it rules for their medical or any other care or benefit while the State was operating in the red [since at least 1933]?

Taking bites

Anyone receiving government welfare (which includes public education, Social Security benefits, income tax deductions, etc.) is a surety for that public debt, together with their children. Just the food given in Egypt on condition put Israel in collective bondage for 400 years.

The debt then was collective, and it is now collective, and it has been for decades, if not centuries.

Moses did not say, "File these papers one at a time and we can get out of here for free."

Jesus did not do that either. He did what Moses did.

Christ told the people to be friends with the unrighteous Mammon, and Moses told them to pay their tale of bricks but glean in the field for their straw and other benefits.

And of course then, like now, everyone would pay that debt with their labor, just like they did in Egypt. Then and now we are in a Corvee system of Bondage.

They do not want you to actually "pay it off". There is a way to do so, but it is not for the Slothful.

This city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

Babylon was a city of Nimrod. Babylon the Great is at least a civil pot in which everyone is brought into one cauldron, one purse, by the offer of benefits by Benefactors who exercise authority one over the other. In that civil cauldron or city, people are found Biting one another just like the spirits who dwell in hell.

To get out of that place you must repent of that thinking that took you in the Way of Babylon. Repenting is not being sorry but it requires Charitable Practices, which are the antitheses of the Covetous Practices that have made you Merchandise and cursed the people and their children in a Bondage of debt.

It will still take a miracle to be saved.

If people do Repent and become Doers of the Word and practice Pure Religion like the early Church, God will do the rest. There may be some Christian conflict, but that will merely test the soul.

That is where real faith comes in.

But some people do not have as much faith in facts and the hope of fruit by grace as they have in folly.

Now the system is failing.

And people want out.

Will God hear your cries?

Israel was in bondage in Egypt.

That bondage was the result of coveting government benefits offered to members and their children?

The Covetous Practices of the parents cursed the children.

They could not just file papers and leave.

They could not just dissolve the bands which had connected them through violent means.

What they did historically was help each other and their neighbors during hard times.

Abraham built his living altars of "friends", and then he left Ur with many souls.

Moses taught the people how to get through the plagues and even help the Egyptians before they were ready to leave Egypt in one day.

John, Jesus and the Apostles taught the people to love one another. "Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others" provided for their ministry to the needy in pure religion with their "substance" long before the coming out at Pentecost.

What they did worked!

We all need some kingdom Perspective.

We need to return together to the ways of the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

On this edition of the Keys of the Kingdom on Liberty Radio Live Brother Gregory wastes no time rabble rousing and tickling the people's ears by telling them how awful and wicked their elected leaders are for taking away the people's rights and usurping power, but rather Gregory again explains the hard truth that the people freely let their rights go by letting their responsibilities go in order to covet and ask their gods many to steal and kill their neighbor to provide what the people are unwilling to provide for themselves by freely participating in the Babylonian system of Corban which was also practiced by the Pharisees, Rome. Phyllis in Pennsylvania calls in to ask questions about how to get rid of State issued driver's license and the other benefits Caesar or Uncle Sam offers his resident children. Phyllis also asks for an explanation of the differences between commissioned, licensed and ordained ministers. Claude in Vermont calls in with follow-up questions about the State's driver's license and Gregory explains why Pharaoh, Caesar or Uncle Sam will not let someone go just because the individual has filed paperwork telling their gods many that they are freeing themselves and cancelling their licenses, privileges and benefits offered by the gods many.

Questions

People want to know if the bondage in Exodus was slavery. In one sense the answer is "yes", but in another the answer is "no".

Both slavery and bondage have multiple meanings.

The Israelites in Egypt owned no land except as a legal title, nor animals, nor gold and silver, and one fifth of the time they were slaves for the government, working without pay.

If they left the country they left with nothing.

That was not called slavery by everyone, but it was close enough.

What is so hard to understand about that?

If people would actually read and study the books we offer for free, they could understand the basics that are already provided to anyone who is part of the living network and seeks to be a congregant in a CORE group.

Like the book The Covenants of the gods

on page 34

"There may be another distinction between a slave and a servant, but the distinction is less important to the subject than the Master. The fact is that the Israelites were not slaves in Egypt in the strictest sense of the word. Yet, their burden was just, as if not more disagreeable, and their chains were just as real.
“Slaves never became an important ingredient of Egyptian civilization. The large subject population and enforceable corvée system - by which serfs had to work temporarily as slaves - made a permanent force of slaves unnecessary.” History of Slavery, Susan Everett. "

The kingdom of God is from generation to generation. Write it down!

So are the kingdoms of the world.

Just as you inherit rights, you inherit bondage.

No legal rambling about contracts and assumptions and presumptions will save you from that inherited bondage.

No hollow claims of believing in Christ will set you free.

Israel was in bondage because their parents volunteered to be in bondage to save themselves.

Therefore their children were born in bondage.

They could not free themselves.

Even God - through Moses, and the same with Jesus Christ - did instruct people to stop paying taxes because the Pharaoh or Caesar is a fraud and has deceived you and tricked you.

Never does He say to starve the beast.

What they said was you guys need to think a different way. They called that repentance.

They made it clear that you were in bondage because you coveted your brothers' and neighbors' stuff. They made it clear that you would likely do it again, and you have. Now you have to think a different way and learn to care about your neighbor and his rights as much as you care about your own. If you are not coming together to serve others or not striving to create a daily ministration for others you have not really repented.

If your fruit of repentance is liberty under God, you have the strategy of Christ.

So now go be a doer of the word.

Gather in His character and start caring about one another in real ways that make a difference. Stop trying to save yourself by getting out of the system.

Start seeking the Kingdom of God, the system of God, the daily ministration of God.

Yes, stop eating at the table of rulers, if you can. But more importantly, you must start setting the table of the Lord.

  • Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, [think differently than what got you into bondage] and be baptized [submersed] every one of you [together in free assemblies] in the name of Jesus Christ [according to the ways of Jesus who came to serve and not be served] for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
