Nuts and Bolts of the kingdom

The "nuts and bolts" of the Gospel of the Kingdom refer to its foundational, practical, and essential components as taught by Jesus. It is the good news that God's sovereign rule is breaking into human history through Jesus, and its full reality will be realized in the future.

This message is more comprehensive than a narrow focus on personal salvation alone and includes a call to action for believers. The key practical elements include:

  • Another King and His reign.
  • Repentance
  • faith.
  • The way of righteous living.
  • Sign of the kingdom is in the doing.
  • The mission of the called out.
  • Setting the captive free.
  • Stewardship in the world but not of it.

In distinguishing the "Gospel of the Kingdom" from the "Gospel of Salvation" many biblical scholars generally agree they are two facets of the same overarching message.

When I wrote The Covenants of the gods and offered it for free in numerous forms I was sharing with the world the nuts and bolts of how the system of the world works in making men human resources so they may understand the " nuts and bolts" of the kingdom that sets the captive free.

The nuts and bolts under God, under the shade of the tree of life, in the Kingdom of Heaven and God is found in other free books available at HisHolyChurch.org which includes the Free Church Report and Thy Kingdom Comes.

But the nuts and bolts do not make the machinery run. You need spark and fuel and also air, i.e. Spirit, to add to that fuel.

Some prep

  • Many are delusional about being Born Again because you do not truly love the light.
  • Many think they hear[1] the teachings of the Bible but are not fully doers[1] of the Word of God.
  • They even do contrary to[2] to the decrees of Christ

What that kingdom of God, or liberty under God looks like may become clearer when you add to the list of nuts and bolts of the system of the world what has really caused your present bondage and began to seek the antitheses which is the Kingdom of God.

Probably no one said it clearer than Peter in 2 Peter 2:3 "And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."

Error of Adam

Adam denied his responsibility and blamed others for his own sin. That is the habit of fools today:

Or maybe Paul who quoted King David will help with your understanding:

It is the covetous and selfish heart, which is an uncircumcised heart, of the people which has brought them into bondage. If they want to be free they must turn from that way of covetous practices to sacrifice and service through fervent charity and love. The slothful should be under tribute. They should not be free.

Any one who suggests that you can be free by not using a legal name or filing papers or claiming fraud is spreading confusion and deception. See Guru theories.

The word politics in the world is said to mean "the activities associated with the governance of a country or other area, especially the debate or conflict among individuals or parties having or hoping to achieve power." Oxford language.

Those activities should not include what Proverbs 1 said about consenting to one purse and Proverbs 23 said about a knife to your throat to cut back on the dainties of rulers, or what David and Paul warned about snare and trap of welfare and even what Polybius describes when he stated:

"The masses continue with an appetite for benefits and the habit of receiving them by way of a rule of force and violence. The people, having grown accustomed to feed at the expense of others and to depend for their livelihood on the property of others... institute the rule of violence; [3] and now uniting their forces massacre, banish, and plunder,[4] until they degenerate[5] again into perfect savages and find once more a master and monarch." [6] [7]

Polybius saw the downfall of the republic by way of their free bread and welfare a 150 years before the first Emperor of Rome and 175 years before the birth of John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ who opposed these same systems of free bread at your neighbor's expense.
The authoritarian State often uses force and violence to become the Benefactors of the people if the covet what is their neighbors'. They make a social contract where one class of citizen is forced to provide for another class through "legal charity" which is not true charity. The writings of the Apostles warned along with countless passages of ancient writings of the prophets including Proverbs 23 which warned them about what Christ forbid which was the covetous practices of socialist forms of government.

The politics of the kingdom which sets men free is the politics of love and liberty. It is where men and women choose to serve one another by attending to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world of Rome nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on those fathers of the earth through force, fear and fealty who deliver the people back in bondage again like they were in Egypt. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ and have become workers of iniquity.

The Christian conflict with Rome in the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for their free bread but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens as He commanded.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.

After all the Bible is the book for the government of the people, by the people and for the people.[9]

  • Exodus 18:21 "Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place [such] over them, [to be] rulers of thousands, [and] rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:"

The word you see for rulers in this text is the word sar. [10] It is said to be from the word Sarar[11]

Normally Hebrew words contain three letters like sarar with ShinReish Reish (ררשׂ). The letter ר REISH meant to symbolize the Process of Clarification. It was the "head" or "beginning" which is to guide and direct. The Shin ש represents the Eternal Flame of Revelation which is within and is bound to the burning coal of the Divine Essence of creation."

So, what does it mean when they remove one of the REISH letters from the word Shin Reish Reish? The original Levites received the Kidney of the sacrifice of the people which simply means they took the reins of control[12] of their sacrifice.

The way in which people governed themselves often took one of two forms. In one form the people supported the government with Freewill offerings and remained free and in the other the people supported the government with compelled offerings and where subject to rulers.

Shin Reish Reish rulers ruled over the sacrifice of the people as well as the people themselves while the Shin Reish only ruled over the sacrifice and the people had the right to choose who they would trust with that sacrifice or burnt offering. The offerings were burnt not because someone set dead sheep on fire but because the total control was given up by the individual casting their bread upon the waters. The description of these sacrificial rituals are allegories and understanding them is dependent upon understanding the metaphor of the language itself.

How do these different rulers come about?

Are we made slaves by legal names or is the pointing at the symptom actually show us the disease or distract us from its true cause?

  • 2 Peter 2:3 "And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."

Yes, it is through our own Covetousness that we are made merchandise and surety for the debt of a nation. It is by the Covetous Practices of our fathers that we are cursed under the debt of our present bondage. The truth of this and our own part and participation and our true confession and repentance which will set us free.

So to focus on the mechanics of registration, names, corporate offers is to look away from covetousness which the real cause of bondage and degeneration. “The real destroyers of the liberties of the people is he who spreads among them bounties, donations, and benefits.” Plutarch

They have no power to destroy liberty if we do not love rewards of unrighteousness:

  • Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

There is a Christian checklist.

  1. 1.0 1.1 Doers and not doers
Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:"
Matthew 25:11 "Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us." See Foolish virgins and Workers of iniquity.
Luke 6:46 "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great."
Luke 13:25 "When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:" See Workers of iniquity.
John 3:19 "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." See Born again.
John 9:31 "Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth."
  2. Doeth contrary
Romans 16:17 "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them."
Colossians 2:14 "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;"
Philippians 3:17 "Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample."
2 Thessalonians 3:14 "And if any man obey(hupakouo) not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. 15 Yet count [him] not as an enemy, but admonish [him] as a brother."
1 Corinthians 1:10 "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."
1 Timothy 1:8 "But we know that the law [is] good, if a man use it lawfully; 9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;"
Galatians 1:7 "Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."
Galatians 2:4 "And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:"
Luke 21:34 "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth."
Colossians 2:8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."
2 Peter 2:1 "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."
2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into [your] house, neither bid him God speed:
  3. Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
  4. Luke 16:16 The law and the prophets [were] until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
  5. Social welfare through the State takes away dignity, purpose, and social affirmation.
  6. "But when a new generation arises and the democracy falls into the hands of the grandchildren of its founders, they have become so accustomed to freedom and equality that they no longer value them, and begin to aim at pre-eminence; and it is chiefly those of ample fortune who fall into this error. 6 So when they begin to lust for power and cannot attain it through themselves or their own good qualities, they ruin their estates, tempting and corrupting the people in every possible way. 7 And hence when by their foolish thirst for reputation they have created among the masses an appetite for gifts and the habit of receiving them, democracy in its turn is abolished and changes into a rule of force and violence. 8 For the people, having grown accustomed to feed at the expense of others and to depend for their livelihood on the property of others, as soon as they find a leader who is enterprising but is excluded from the houses of office by his penury, institute the rule of violence; 9 and now uniting their forces massacre, banish, and plunder, until they degenerate again into perfect savages and find once more a master and monarch." Polybius: The Histories (composed at Rome around 130 BC)Fragments of Book at Loeb's classic library, or see our comparison of translations at Polybius#Translations_compare
  7. An alternate translation in context, "9. For no sooner had the knowledge of the jealousy and hatred existing in the citizens against them which is replaced by democracy, emboldened some one to oppose the government by word or deed, than he was sure to find the whole people ready and prepared to take his side. Having then got rid of these rulers by assassination or exile, they do not venture to set up a king again, being still in terror of the injustice to which this led before; nor dare they intrust the common interests again to more than one, considering the recent example of their misconduct: and therefore, as the only sound hope left them is that which depends upon themselves, they are driven to take refuge in that; and so changed the constitution from an oligarchy to a democracy, and took upon themselves the superintendence and charge of the state. And as long as any survive who have had experience of oligarchical supremacy and domination, they regard their present constitution as a blessing, and hold equality and freedom as of the utmost value. But as soon as a new generation has arisen, and the democracy has descended to their children’s children, long association weakens their value for equality and freedom, and some seek to become more powerful than the ordinary citizens; and the most liable to this temptation are the rich. (which degenerates into rule of corruption and violence, only to be stopped by a return to despotism.) So when they begin to be fond of office, and find themselves unable to obtain it by their own unassisted efforts and their own merits, they ruin their estates, while enticing and corrupting the common people in every possible way. By which means when, in their senseless mania for reputation, they have made the populace ready and greedy to receive bribes, the virtue of democracy is destroyed, and it is transformed into a government of violence and the strong hand. For the mob, habituated to feed at the expense of others, and to have its hopes of a livelihood in the property of its neighbours, as soon as it has got a leader sufficiently ambitious and daring, being excluded by poverty from the sweets of civil honours, produces a reign of mere violence. Then come tumultuous assemblies, massacres, banishments, redivisions of land; until, after losing all trace of civilisation, it has once more found a master and a despot." Mark 10:42-43 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
Luke 22:25-26 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
