Molech of shame

Moloch, also spelled Molech, is a Canaanite deity associated in biblical sources with the practice of child sacrifice.

A term which combines the Hebrew melech (“king”) with the vowels of boshet (“shame”), and often used as a variant name for the god Baal (“Lord”) would be representative of the rulers or king of shame.

In the Hebrew Bible, Moloch is given a place in Israel’s error in their worship as a result of practices of the people proceeding from policies of certain kings who foolishly employ different religiouss institutions, corrupting cultures, or covetous practices establishing the error of Balaam which will eventually curse children in a variety of ways.

The laws given to Moses by God expressly forbade that the people of God should do what was done in Egypt[1] nor in Canaan.[2]

Profanity of Molech

Leviticus 18:21 “‎‭21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. {Molech: Gr. Moloch}”

To understand Molech we need to understand the times and the text.

The text includes all that was from Genesis to Revelation, but also, that which reveals the history and the heart of man, his soul and his sin.

Assigning the next Gen

The text instructs us to perserves our seed as th next generation. The Hebrew word ūmizzar‘ăךkā only appearse in this verse as (וּמִֽזַּרְעֲךָ֥) VavMemZayinReishAyinKaf and is translated "And any of your descendants" but it is from זֶרַע‎ zera‘[3] our seed, children, our fruit. Molech is a threat to that generation.

The Hebrew word titten (תִתֵּ֖ן) consists of a double TavNun. It is said to be from nathan (נָתַן) NunTavNun. We should warned not to give, appoint, or assign our children to the service of Moleck the shameful king or ruler.

The double Tav suggest that the giving deep. That it includes the heart and the mind of your children to the point they rebel against their father and the way of God.

Cold fire

The Hebrew word laha‘abîr (לְהַעֲבִ֣יר) LamedHeyAyinBeitYodReish is from the root word abar (עָבַר) which is defined "to cross over" but "used very widely of any transition (transitive, intransitive, intensive, causative)".

Abraham the “Hebrew” (Genesis 14:13) bears a name root which is AyinBeitReish (עָבַר) pointing to him as the one who “crossed over” the Euphrates to follow the call of God (Genesis 12:1-5).

We also see in Exodus where Israel “passed through the midst of the sea on dry ground” (Exodus 14:22). The 400 years of bondage, the trials of the plague, the Passover all stired the people to faith. The years in the wilderness, the fall with the Goldan calf, the Mana, the altars of charity instead of the flesh pots of Egypt pointed to another way.

The Jordan crossing under Joshua (Joshua 3:14-17) helps form the patriarchal promise, the church in the wilderness and the free assemblies of the nation supported by tithings instead of taxation and the bondage of Egypt.

making עָבַר the verb that frames entrance into covenant land. • Each pivotal act of redemption is literally a passage from bondage to blessing, embedding עָבַר at the center of Israel’s collective memory.   “You shall not give any of your children to devote them by fire to Moloch, and so profane the name of your God” Leviticus 18:21.

Yet, kings such as Ahaz (2 Kings 16:3) and Manasseh (2 Kings 21:6), having been influenced by the Assyrians, are reported to have worshipped Moloch at the hilled site of Topheth, a "place of fire".

They may have degenerated so bad they actually burned babies alive but the corruption crept into the hearts of the people unaware. They were unaware because the people say in darkness, following blind guides who allowed the Corban of the Pharisees with its leaven and neglected the Corban of Christ and His righteousness.

Today, aborted fetuses are both harvested and burned. But it is the strange fire that brings the spirit of evil into the world, making the word of God to none effect.

People think they reject the idolatry of Moloch but have they developed an appetite for the dainties of Tanit, his wife?

Moloch and Tanit

Moloch's consort was the goddess "Tanit" who like the turtledove goddess of Sumer provided legal charity to the citizen of their civil collectives.

Tanit was also depicted riding a lion or a beast to symbolize and promote her ability to control the male protectors of society as the masses become dependent upon her benefaction. Power is steadily shifted to rulers and away from the people as they develop an appetite for her dainties and benefits and slothful in their responsibilities.

Tanit and her association with other goddesses like Ishtar and Astarte were central to the tables of welfare in city-states.

They often effected gender roles as the state supplanted the natural fathers and potentially was accompanied by the idea of "androgyny or a blurring of gender lines in ancient Carthaginian religion, according to some interpretations."

Molech the Mutilator

Molech appears in of Leviticus concerning giving your children over to Molech a malevolent God or king that would destroy and devour children.

"You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord." (Leviticus 18:21)

"Any Israelite or foreigner residing in Israel who sacrifices any of his children to Molech is to be put to death. The members of the community are to stone him." (Leviticus 20:2)

Artist have rendered Molech as so e monster who burns children alive with fire. That most certainly be with strange fire.

We know a burnt offering was something ou chose to turn over to the priest of your society.

We see Molech associated with the Valley of Hinnom, or Gehenna, which was outside of Jerusalem.

The means and methods of Molech are equated with the ways of Gehenna and Hell and therefore a consuming fire.

Today, Oregon's Attorney General Dan Rayfield, a Democrat, who took office in late 2024, is suing the Trump administration for cutting oof funding for "gender affirming care".

His definition of gender affirming care is destructive, abusive and true tortuous savagery that rivals the barbarous deeds of Molech.

He and other politicians should not think the have a moral right to put the hands of the masses in other people's pockets to continue funding their irreversable abuse and mutilation of those souls suffering from gender dysphoria.

Covetous practices inevitably will curse children in a multitude of monsterous ways.

A consuming fire

Jefferson warned against a debt passed to the next Generation which is the pattern echoed in the myths of Molech.

"I say, the earth belongs to each of these generations during its course, fully and in its own right. The second generation receives it clear of the debts and incumbrances of the first, the third of the second, and so on. For if the first could charge it with a debt, then the earth would belong to the dead and not to the living generation. Then, no generation can contract debts greater than may be paid during the course of its own existence." Jefferson's letter to James Madison (6 September 1789) ME 7:455, Papers 15:393

The crushing debt and burning inflationary rise of prices is consuming the life of each generation.

"Legal charity" through the state always castrates the male's potential as the Patrimonial provider and protector of the family. When men choose to make gods of other men society will empower women to ru,e over their families. Woman will reject their nobility as the producer and nurturer of the next generation choosing to pervert the natural use for the power their jealousy allows them to imagine.

Biblical appearances

Leviticus 18:21 And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through [the fire] to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I [am] the LORD.

Leviticus 20:2 Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever [he be] of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth [any] of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. Leviticus 20:3 And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

Leviticus 20:4 And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:

Leviticus 20:5 Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

1 Kings 11:7 Then did Solomon build an high place for Chemosh, the abomination of Moab, in the hill that [is] before Jerusalem, and for Molech, the abomination of the children of Ammon.

2 Kings 23:10 And he defiled Topheth, which [is] in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.

Jeremiah 32:35 And they built the high places of Baal, which [are] in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through [the fire] unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

The curse of Molech

If you advocate that government should have the power to take from one class of people to enrich another you are snared with the words of your mouth and curse yourself.

If you allow your government to spend or borrow more than the people of America can pay then you are cursing your children.

Stealing, defrauding and murder have always been seen as evil but covetousness equally so. But the blind cannot see the truth and serve Molech with the life of their children.

Molech appears in Leviticus concerning giving your children over to Molech a malevolent God or king that would destroy and devour children.

"You shall not give any of your children to offer them to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord." (Leviticus 18:21)
