The Mission of the Church

We believe that the problems in the world today are directly related to a strong delusion about the true nature of the Church and the Gospel which is part of what I feel Herbert Titus was beginning to understand which is why we chose him to aid us originally in our interaction with the world.

The answer was the same as it was at the time of Christ and covered in our books about the whole Gospel which are all free online.

The modern Churches of today and the people who believe they have faith in Christ are often under a strong delusion because they have believed a lie.[1]

This has led to almost every problem in the world including the economy, health, wars and rumors of wars. A particular practice accepted by priests and pastors the modern Churches has blinded the people who believe they are following Christ. The same is true of both synagogues and mosques. Again this was foretold by the Apostles that eyes would be darkened.

At the time of Christ we saw the same phenomena for the same reasons:

The Pharisees had instituted a system of Corban through the civil powers of Herod. That system was what Christ objected to and David and Paul said that civil system or a table that should have been for your welfare was in fact a snare and a trap.[2]

All the prophets warned of this eating the “dainties of rulers”,[3] of having “one purse” where the people “build a city and the city is a cauldron”[4] where the people are the flesh and they take a bite out of one another by way of the authority of the governments. Jesus said we were not to go to “benefactors” in government who “exercise authority one over the other” because it was a “covetous practice”.[5]

Peter said that those covetous practices we see among the Modern Christians would make the people Human resources and cursed their children with debt.

To make this short

The Modern Church starting at least a hundred years ago let the state take over not only the care of our parents[6] but all social welfare for Christians by setting up a civil table of benefits that are available to its numbered members.

Many religions have turned a blind eye to the covetous practices that Peter said would make the masses “merchandise”, entangle them again in a “yoke of bondage”. Since FDR brought in a system similar to the Corban of Herod and the Pharisees which Jesus said made the "word of God to none effect" the whole world has returned to “Mystery Babylon” because of the “Error of Balaam”.[7]

Another way to see this is that these welfare systems through the authority of the State is idolatry because “covetousness is idolatry”.[8]

Every country from Israel to Iran and Australia to America has started a system of social welfare through the power of the State similar to that ancient Corban from the 1920's and 30's.

An individual does not need the Bible to prove and foresee this error of Balaam which offers the wages of unrighteousness for Plutarch[9] warned us as well concerning the free bread by the power of the State.

Polybius[10] wrote of the same error when he saw the downfall of the republic and the rise of Kings by way of their free bread and welfare a 150 years before the first Emperor of Rome and 175 years before the birth of John the Baptist and Jesus the Christ who opposed these same systems of free bread at your neighbor's expense.

Blind guides

We were blinded by pride and affluence, by those who would return us to the Mire and entangle us again into the yoke of bondage. But the salvation of Christ is still here if we will repent and seek His ways which includes taking back our responsibilities to love one another instead of sloth and avarice.

The Churches, synagogues, and mosques have relinquished their responsibility and mission of a “daily ministration” through “fervent charity”. They have turned to depend upon the powers of the State instead of the righteousness of God through the power of love of one another.

Of course all socialist and communist countries have followed the same path of “legal charity” through the State which is diametrically opposed to the teachings of both Moses and Jesus Christ.

Not of the world:

According to James 1:27 "Pure Religion” when “undefiled before God and the Father is" to provide for the widows, orphans and afflicted and remain "unspotted from the world".

The Greek word for "world" is defined as "an apt and harmonious arrangement or constitution, order, government". This is the same word used when Jesus states his kingdom was not of the “world” of Pilate. Then Jesus insisted in John 17:6-18 His minister could not be of the same world and certainly not depending upon the social welfare of the world. The core of Christian conflict with Rome was the “free bread” of Rome through taxation verses the daily ministration of the Church through charity.

That was the table of which Christians would not eat?[11]

It was the table of Caesar and Nimrod and the world order of Babylon.

The Church which were those who were “called out” of the “world” were to serve the people providing all the social welfare for the faithful who would not engage in covetous practices of the governments of the world like modern Christians, Jews and Muslims.

Those ministers of Christ, like the Levites before them owned “all things common”.[12] This is actually part of the legal genius of God and the plan of Christ. At Pentecost everyone who got the Baptism of Christ were kicked out of the system of Corban run through the temple.[13]

The Church was able to provide a daily ministration, rightly dividing bread from house to house, in the temple at first but by the time the temple was destroyed they had a network all across the Roman empire. Eventually, there was a decline and fall of the Roman Empire but Christians survived and thrived.

History is repeating itself. You can see it in the daily news. The precepts upon precepts are the same. There will be differences. Christians and Jews are in need of repentance again as foretold by Christ.

We our goal is to continue to be a voice in the wilderness to make straight the way of the Lord which is the way of righteousness and share it with those who will repent and come out and not be partakers of their sins.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag against the corruption and eventual collapse of the Roman Empire, but it renewed society through the individual liberty of the people by seeking righteousness and virtue.

The Church is a religious society established and appointed by Him.

By His appointment the Church holding all things common, is to form a body of Christian servants, united under one form of government by the profession of one faith, and the observance of the same rituals and ceremonies in service to God and His Kingdom of Heaven at hand.

The Church in its most general sense is also a community[14] of the people gathered in free assemblies which form local congregations and conventions of congregations seeking the righteous ways of God.

Those dedicated ministers of the Church, unlike the ministers of other nations, are not to exercise authority one over the other but they are to serve.

A brief examination of the Mission of the Church:

The Church or Called out was appointed a kingdom by Christ to be "the religious society founded and established by Jesus Christ, to receive, preserve, and propagate his doctrines and ordinances." If the ministers of the Church rightly divide the bread from house to house in a daily ministration of communion through faith, hope, and charity, they will naturally form "A body or community of Christians, united under one form of government by the profession of one faith, and the observance of the same rituals and ceremonies."

The Church must continue in the perfect law of liberty, returning every man to his possession, and every man to his family, doing good works in the observance of their common rituals and ceremonies including but not limited to: [15]

Overseeing the needs of the community of Christians including the widows and orphans, [16]

To serve and strengthen those that are weak, sick or those not whole, [17]

To protect, to preserve and keep all things under the covering of the Messiah, [18]

To officiate as a herald of the Kingdom of Heaven on earth,[19]

To appoint new ministers from those chosen by the people and the Father,[20]

To measure the temple of God, and His living altar, and them that worship therein,[21]

To reprove, rebuke, exhort, bind and loose by testimony and witness, [22]

To preach and publish, and to serve the people who seek the Kingdom of God at hand.

  1. 2 Thessalonians 2:10 "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."
  2. : Psalms 69:22-23 “Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. 23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.”
Romans 11:8 "(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: 10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.”
  3. Proverbs 23:1 "When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what [is] before thee: 2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite. 3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat."
  4. The frequent reference to cities of blood, flesh pots, and a civil cauldron (i.e. One purse) often is associated with a "harlot in the city" as we saw in Amos 7:17. In Nahum 3:4 it says she "selleth nations through her whoredoms". These are the systems of legal charity that provide a social welfare through governments that exercise authority one over the other entangling the masses in covetous practices which is a trap and a snare and makes the word of God to none effect.
  5. "And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye [shall] not [be] so:" Luke 22:25
  6. Mark 7:11 “But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free. 12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother; 13 Making the word of God of none effect”
  7. Revelation 2:14-17 "But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication ("to permit one’s self to be drawn away by another into idolatry"). 15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate."
  8. : Colossians 3:5 "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:"
Ephesians 5:5 "For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."
1 Corinthians 5:10 "Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat."
  9. "That the man who first ruined the Roman people twas he who first gave them treats and gratuities. But this mischief crept secretly and gradually in, and did not openly make it's appearance in Rome for a considerable time." Plutarch's Life of Coriolanus (c. 100 AD.)
“The real destroyers of the liberties of the people is he who spreads among them bounties, donations, and benefits.” Plutarch
  10. "The masses continue with an appetite for benefits and the habit of receiving them by way of a rule of force and violence. The people, having grown accustomed to feed at the expense of others and to depend for their livelihood on the property of others... institute the rule of violence; and now uniting their forces massacre, banish, and plunder, until they degenerate again into perfect savages and find once more a master and monarch." Polybius
  11. 1 Corinthians 10:17 "For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. 18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the alter? 19 What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? 20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. 21 Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. 22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?"
  12. Acts 2:42 47 "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."
  13. : John 9:22 "These [words] spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue."
John 12:42 "Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess [him], lest they should be put out of the synagogue:"

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

James 1:26-27 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
