Jesus was called teacher. Abraham, Moses, and Jesus were all teaching the people The Way of God and His righteousness.
Review:
Chapter 1: Vanity is empty and all things that are empty remain empty.
Chapter 2: The "fool walketh in darkness" which leads to a "vexation of spirit" and asks shall we be "a wise man or a fool?" Shall a "soul enjoy good in his labour" or another "man that hath not laboured therein"?
By to Chapter 3: Addressing "wickedness was there; and ... iniquity" we see it repeated that everyman's labor belongs to himself by the endowment of God. The question is asked what is the spirit that leads a man upward, and the spirit that goeth downwardwhich brings man down to dust.
The warning in Chapter 4 is that if a man cares only for himself or chooses to oppress others" he may become a "fool who foldeth his hands together, and ends up where he eateth his own flesh.
Chapter 5: Beginning with the sacrifice of fools,careful with your foot and the "rash... mouth" and you should "not vow" so that you can enjoy your labour as God intended.
Comments
What does sacrifice of fools mean?
According to some it was "the sacrifice of fools-religious ritual or worship" that was "cold, formal, boring, worship by people who didn't care." that is true if we properly define the word worship and care.
Worship has always been bowing to the will of a master. The will of the master and Creator is to love your neighbor and care about them and their life as you do your own.
The kind of Care that the Bible teaches we can see in Altars of Clay and stone which were systems of social welfare created by Abraham and Moses to provide a social safety net by the practice of Pure Religion through faith, hope, and charity. They were not creating mindless religious rituals to promote bond of delf righteousness and vanity. It was essential that these systems were funded by freewill offerings which rooted in voluntary choice[1] and love. The people who are of the world are often in conflict with that early Christian system because they have chosen the sacrifice of fools which we see in Ecclesiastes 5. Those systems include covetous practices[2] and are run by the men who call themselves benefactors and the Fathers of the earth who exercise authority through the welfare State and its systems of legal charity that are funded by force, fear, and result in forms of fealty through debt.
Ecclesiastes 5 warns against foolish sacrifices of the temple which began with Saul. Everyone needs to understand without fervent charity at the altars of of God life will degenerate. The vision of Moses in Exodus was not mindlessly rituals but the song of Moses which is in harmony with the Song of the Lamb.
V1 "Keep thy foot" - attend to the way I go... "house of God" - bayith (BeitYodTav) elohim ... "be more ready to hear" - qarab (קָרַב) draw near lišmōa (לִשְׁמֹ֔עַ) to hearken, obey... "than to give the sacrifice of fools(הַכְּסִילִ֖ים hakkəsîlîm)[3] for they consider not that they do evil."[4]
V2 "Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God" This is about taking oaths before "ruling judges". This is the same as those who consent to have one purse and the warning to refrain your foot from that path[5] because the net is not there in vain.
V3 A dream comes because "multitude of business" which is that the people have become accustomed to covetous practices so that "they consider not that they do evil".
V4 If "thou vowest... pay that which thou hast vowed." Jesus explained to the people in Matthew 22:17-21, Mark 12:14-17, and Luke 20:22-26.
V5 But it would be better if you did not vow. See Swear not.
V7 Are the multitude of dreams [divers] vanities? Are they Guru theories void of understanding?
V8 Is there "oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice" today. This is because you have vowed to give the sacrifice of fools to get benefits at the expense of your neighbor in covetous practices and dainties at hand of rulers[6] which is idolatry.[7]
V9-13 Riches are not the "sore evil" but "riches kept for the owners" is the swamp of a selfish heart.
When we see that the Mark of the Beast is the number of those who vow to give the sacrifice of fools going back into the bondage of Egypt and the mire.
When the rich choose the "oppression of the poor, and to be violent perverting of judgment and justice" you should know that "the wrath of her fornication" of "the merchants of the earth... shall weep and mourn over her... for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived."[8]
The rich who are for themselves "labor for the wind" and "eat in darkness"
V18 All a man's labor should be his but if he desires life more abundant than riches he must lay down one for the other.
Questions

Sacrifice of fools:

1 ¶ Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by multitude of words.

Vowest a vow

4 ¶ When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. 5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay. 6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? 7 For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also divers vanities: but fear thou God.

8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

The Vanity of Wealth and Honor

9 ¶ Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.

10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.

11 When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?

12 The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.

Riches kept

13 There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.

14 But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand.

15 As he came forth of his mother’s womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.

16 And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?

17 All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness.

Enjoy all his labor

18 ¶ Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.

19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.

20 For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.
