What is the Fringe, the Tzitzit (תציצ)? Is it tassels on a piece of cloth or is it the blossoming of the Spirit in the daily life God grants us? Is it about blue threads or is it about the threads of righteousness and faith which leads to perfection? In the imagination of men has it become about self-righteous rituals unmoored from their meaning through the prideful Sophistry of the foolish?
What does the Husband of the Bride desire? What has the Lord, King, Creator, Father instructed us to do in the torah to have eternal life, peace, wholeness, blessings, health, etc.? Have we unmoored the metaphor from its meaning? Have we formed an allegiance to an idolatrous interpretation of an allegory and remained blind to the "hidden meaning" and "moral" it offers? Are we doing the righteous will of the Father or gleaning self-righteousness from the rituals of our imagination?

The Fringe Element

  • Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe [Tzitzit (תציצ)] of the borders[1] a ribband of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: Numbers 15:38-39

I was asked:

I've been doing some study on the Tzitzits and whether it is a command to wear them if you are non-Jew. The Scripture seems to indicate wearing 4 of them, each corner of your garment, where they can be seen, every day, 7 days a week other than sleep time. Any thoughts? Your understanding of this would be much appreciated.

By Tzitzits, he means the תציצ or tzitzit or tsiytsith (pronounced 'tsee-tseeth’) which we see in Numbers 15:38 as fringes or tassel:

  • Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:

The word tzitzit [2] is composed of four letters:

  • צ ץ Tzadik is always related to The Faith of the Righteous One, the foundation of the word "to hunt" or Harvest even eat or desire. [Harvest, pant, desire] (Numeric value: 90)
  • י Yod The Infinite Point of essential good. Divine spark hidden in the ט Tet. Spark of spirit. [closed hand... Deed, work, to make] (Numeric value: 10)
  • צ ץ Tzadik is always related to The Faith of the Righteous One, the foundation of the word "to hunt" or Harvest even eat or desire. [Harvest, pant, desire] (Numeric value: 90)
  • ת Tav is a Seal of a Higher kingdom or realm through faith. The paradigm keter–malchut “The Crown of Sovereignty” from the Tree of Life spiritually linking worlds or realms through an unseen doorway of faith. The Aleph & Tav are the first and last letters. [door sign cross seal] (Numeric value: 400)

The word tzitzit is from a word that is said to mean flower.[3] Instead of ending in a Tav like the word tzitzit the word tzitzah ends in the letter Hey. This changes the meaning by adding and removing ideas contained in the letters.

The TAV of faith Seals the Higher keter (crown) to the malchut (Kingdom) through faith and humility by linking realms.

We are suppose to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness as doers of the word. The roots of the word fringe include the ideas associated with the symbols of blossoms or wings and feathers. Even the wor border in the text [1] means wing.

That fringe is simply a reminder of the righteousness of God and the Kingdom which we should be seeking every day.

The letter Hey or ה Hey is connected to the Expression or Thought, Speech, Action. It has to do with the manifesting of things from seeds of thought and life.

If you remove the ending letter you end up with the root word tsiyts ץיצ.[4]

The word tsiyts ץיצ is translated flower 10 times and plate 3 times and blossom once but also wings once. The word tsiyts ץיצ is a root word composed of three letters and produces the word tzitzit by adding the letter Tav which is the Mark of God and the letter that means faith.

The word tsiyts ץיצ is also said to be from tsuwts ץוצ [5] which, while it has the same letters, is assigned a different Strong's number. It is said to mean "to blossom, shine, sparkle" and is translated flourish five times, blossom twice, and bloomed and shewing once each.

Are knots and string important to God or blossoms and fruit? Christ took the kingdom from the Pharisees who wore the fringes but were not bearing fruit.

Because most words in Hebrew have both a physical and an abstract meaning, it is not difficult for the Sophist to unmoore the meaning of the word from the spiritual significance and get the humanist nature of man to focus on the form or ritual rather than its true meaning.

While the word tzitzit only appears a few times in the Bible[6] there is another place we see what appears to be a call for fringes. But another completely different word, Gidel, is used.

Gidel

Gidel only appears as "fringe" once in Deuteronomy 22:12[7], but also as the word wreath in 1 Kings 7 [8]

The word there is gedil לדג .[9]

The three letters that produce this word fringe are Gimel Daleth Lamed:

  • ג Gimel Reward and Punish, Cause and effect. Do to others as they should do. Camel [throwstick pride to lift up]3
  • ד DALET Selflessness – Charity, back and forth (door) pathway enter... fish)4
  • ל LAMED Aspiration of the Heart to learn or direct like a shepherd [Hand prod, staff, whip... tongue]30

These same letters produce several words from Strong's numbers 01431 to 01435, but it is said that these same letters are the root word of gadal לדג [10] which all have a similar meaning to magnify, make greater, nourish up, grow up, etc..

All these words have a meaning of going from a blossom to a flower or nourishing up or making greater or growing.

The hassle with tassels

Is the text really talking about strings of fringe attached to your clothes?

Why blue thread and why four and what is meant by the corners?

The word "blue" we see is tëkeleth.[11] It is composed of the letters TavKafLamedTav having the meaning of:

  • ת Tav is a Seal of a Higher kingdom or realm through faith. The paradigm keter–malchut “The Crown of Sovereignty” from the Tree of Life spiritually linking worlds or realms through an unseen doorway of faith. The Aleph & Tav are the first and last letters. [door sign cross seal] (Numeric value: 400)
  • כ ך Kaf K Crown: To Actualize Potential power from spiritual to physical realm [to cover, strength] (Numeric value: 20)
  • ל Lamed means Aspiration of the Heart or to learn or even direct like a shepherd. It has to do with what the Hand produces, [hand is די YodDalet] or directs with staff, whip... like the tongue may direct. (Numeric value: 30)

There is another word TavKafLamedYodTav[12] where the word blue includes the Yod and becomes "perfection, consummation, completion, completeness".

Blue is about the crown (keter) every man must seel like the righteousness of God.

Is God really concerned with fringes and tassels of cloth or underwear and breeches of priests or is there always a deeper meaning to the letters and the words which has often been obscured by the Sophistry of those who would unmoore that meaning from the precepts of God becoming idols of false religion?

Why were people to make altars of clay and stone?

Why were the people to weave the breeches of the Levites?

Why is the Sabbath so significant?

And why do we need to know the name of God when he actually did not have a name but was merely the existing one and Father of all reality?

If we were made in the image of God when we chose to decide for ourselves what was good and what was evil were we made in another image or at least altered or degenerated by sin into perfect savages?

If we are to be brothers in Christ should we not do what he said and certainly what he commanded?

If we want to be Torah keepers are we sure we know what the Torah was really telling us?

The Pharisees thought they knew but evidently missed it some how.

How do we repent and return to the Kingdom of God?

All the attributes of God must unfold in the heart, mind, and body of mankind as the blossom unfolds in a flower. Like pedals on a flower the Tzitzits has four fringes. Those fringes or tassels are only symbolic of those attributes of God that are manifested in the actions of Mankind.

This is why being a doer of the word is emphasized by Christ and the Apostles. We are warned by Jesus, the apostles and the prophets that if we are not doers of the word, followers the doctrines of Jesus, add what he commanded, then we are falling short and are in danger of being counted as workers of iniquity. It is the blossoming or the four fringes of our individual covering through or sincerity of our seeking, striving, and perseverance that is key to the Malchut or Kingdom of God. It is not the rituals nor the intellectual Gnostic descriptions and certainly not the superficial interpretations of the precepts upon precepts of the ancient text.

The fringes or tassels are a reminder of what the whordom of the nation when their desire was to return to the way of Egypt and eat of the tables of the dove Goddess who besides being the symbol of welfare State often wore garments with rows of fringe to signify how plenteous was her bounty, but those gifts and gratuities destroyed liberty [13] and degenerate the masses.

If we are to remember all the commandments of the LORD we must also recall that we cannot covet anything that is our neighbors nor shall we have strange gods which often offer the dainties of rulers from a table that is a snare. If we are to seek the way of God which is righteousness in our heart and in our minds.[14]

Not the letter nor rituals

We should know that the letter and rituals we perform are not the spirit that gives life.[15]

"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Matthew 16:19

What we do or not do, what we desire or not desire is what binds us, entangles us, in and to the world.

If we couple those ideas with be fruitful and multiply or the parable of the talents in Matthew 25 where someone did nothing with what he had to cause an increase and was condemned for it. We should be able to see that it is more important to seek a nurturing approach of love and sacrifice in all things, in all directions of our life than to perform an external physical ritual. Are we under a strong delusion if we imagine our self justified by a ceremonial imitation and symbols rather than the blossoming of true righteousness in doing what the Israelite people did in the days of Moses or the early Christians did in the first century Church.

The Pharisees kept the ritual but abandoned the spirit Moses spoke of and therefore did not know Jesus was the Messiah, the Christ nor would they do what He commanded as the Messiah. They wore their fringes and were called whited sepulchres. If we try in anyway to use the symbols and ritual to justify ourselves before God we will drift away from the message, spirit, and its purpose. We will fail to bloom in the light of the Holy Spirit. Our pride will block our growth in the Holy Spirit.

No one should imagine that by wearing fringes or sowing Breeches or keeping the Sabbath on a special calculated day or even by having Feasts we can be justified before God. If we are clinging to the outward form in any way we will drift away from the message of The Way and its purpose and fail to bloom in the light of the Holy Spirit. If we fail to bloom then that is evidence we are not "keeping the Torah" and we will not find the Malchut of the Lord God.

Are we a kingdom sitting down in the tens as commanded by Christ practicing the righteousness of Pure Religion?

Are we the little flock that was appointed a kingdom or are we a scattering the flock through our self-righteousness opinions which we worship in false religion?

Where is the ekklesia, the called out, the Church established by Christ who preach His Doctrines?

Were is the daily ministration of God provided for the people in love by faith through charity or do we still eat at the tables of benefactors who exercise authority and promote the unrighteous mammon through the covetous practices which have made the people merchandise and cursed children?

Is it in the fringe?

Is it in your words and names and days?

The fringe is how we blossom in the talents and covering God gives us. It is what we do. If we will not do what Christ said then no fringe, nor unmoored ritual will save you anymore than it saved the Pharisees at the fall of Jerusalem.

This is the message of the "fringes". If we think it is about twisty threads on cloth then you have unmoored the wisdom of God from His teachings and the words of the prophets and may be as delusional as the Pharisees.

If you think it is about knots and strings you have fallen for the Sophistry of Satan.

The Breeches to be sown by the people of God for their Levite ministers had nothing to do with underwear and the fringes of our own covering has nothing to do with twisting twine. The word and law of God is Spirit. It is about faith in all four corners of our heart blossoming into the righteous actions of our lives according to the love of of the Creator of life. Let God write upon your hearts and upon your minds.

  13. Destroyers of liberty
"That the man who first ruined the Roman people twas he who first gave them treats and gratuities. But this mischief crept secretly and gradually in, and did not openly make it's appearance in Rome for a considerable time." Plutarch's Life of Coriolanus (c. 100 AD.) This would include Julius Caesar and eventually Augustus Caesar which is why Plutarch also reported, “The real destroyers of the liberties of the people is he who spreads among them bounties, donations, and benefits.” This was a major theme of the Bible:
There were tables of welfare which were both snares and a traps as David and Paul stated and Peter warned would make us merchandise and curse children. Proverbs 23 told us not to not eat the "dainties" offered at those tables of Rulers and Paul says in 1 Corinthians 10 we cannot eat of those tables and the table of the Lord. We are not to consent to their covetous systems of One purse or Corban which makes the word of God to none effect.
We know when the masses become accustomed to those benefits of legal charity which are the rewards of unrighteousness provided by benefactors who exercise authority and the Fathers of the earth through the covetous practices that makes men merchandise and curse children as a surety for debt.
  14. Heart and mind
Jeremiah 31:33 "But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more."

Hebrews 8:10 For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: 12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
    Hebrews 10:16 This [is] the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [ye] double minded.
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this [is] the first commandment.
Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
  15. 2 Corinthians 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
