The Eucharist of Christ was not a crumb or wafer but the bread of Charity that provided the true needs of the people through a Daily ministration of the congregations gathering in the name of Christ which is sacrifice and love.

Eating the flesh and drinking blood

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

What did Jesus mean when he said "Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you"?

Communion and Fellowship of the people at the time of John the Baptist had become a system of Corban that was making the word of God to none effect. It was a system of Welfare that depended upon men who called themselves Benefactors but whom exercised authority one over the other. These were the Fathers of the earth who we were not to pray to nor be like.

We were to have a communion of the Eucharist of Christ based on Faith, Hope and Charity through the Perfect law of liberty.

This idea was frightening to the people as it would be to Modern Christians. To give up the Welfare offered by the Temples of the World. To provide a Daily ministration in Pure Religion was common amongst the people at one time but we have strayed from The Way of Christ and have need of Repentance. this is the purpose of His Church to form a Network of Charity and Hope and conform to Christ in Spirit and in Truth. Through that Network we may begin to attend to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world of Rome nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on those fathers of the earth through force, fear and fealty who deliver the people back in bondage again like they were in Egypt. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ and have become workers of iniquity.

The Christian conflict with Rome in the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for their free bread but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens as He commanded.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.

"Follow me!" —Jesus the Christ.

Revelation: not by Flesh and blood

Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Galatians 1:16 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

The Sabbath was originally a day of rest but they often met on Sunday to do the work of the Kingdom of God.

“But Sunday is the day on which we all hold our common assembly, because it is the first day on which God, having wrought a change in the darkness and matter, made the world; and Jesus Christ our Saviour on the same day rose from the dead. For He was crucified on the day before that of Saturn (Saturday); and on the day after that of Saturn, which is the day of the Sun, having appeared to His apostles and disciples, He taught them these things, which we have submitted to you also for your consideration.” Justin's First Apology 65-67.

Food and drink was brought in while the needs of the people were applied or prayed for by the people and met by the people. Food and provision were distributed amongst those who were there and those who were at a greater distances they were sent by the Deacons of Tens.

Here is a another quote from Justin Martyr:

"We call this food eucharist (thanksgiving), and no one else is permitted to partake of it, except one who believes our teaching to be true and who has been washed in the washing which is for the remission of sins and for regeneration [baptism] and is thereby living as Christ enjoined.” (First Apology, 66:1-20)

Understanding the purpose of rituals like the Feasts, Sabbaths, Eucharist and Baptism is important in comprehending the purposes of God and His ways. Baptism was not just the idea of being dunked or washed in water with the recitation of specific words. The outward symbol was evidence to a personal commitment to a particular way of life, of being submersed in the precepts of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God as opposed to the schemes of Herod. It was about changing your ways and actually living as Christ proscribed us to live.

Idioms and Metaphors of Flesh and Blood

The word "blood" in Hebrew is dam [2] from damam[3] meaning to be silent, be still, wait.

Eating blood was not just a part of food laws. Blood is often a metaphor for life. Life is in the blood and we are not to eat the life of another. [4]

Reducing the prohibition of eating blood[5] is reducing a spiritual principle to a food law by unmooring the meaning of the metaphor.

The word flesh in Hebrew is basar[6] from basar [7]meaning good tidings.

So what does flesh have to do with good tiding and blood have to do with being still?

Today, the phrase "Flesh and blood" is an expression used to refer to someone in your family, especially someone who is related by blood rather than through marriage. Or it may refer to someone who merely present as a living being.

The use of the Hebrew idioms of "flesh and blood" and the common metaphors of "flesh" and "blood" by Jesus in relation to consuming His "flesh" and "blood" was a challenge to the people who had strayed from the fundamentals of God's kingdom on earth.

Like Modern Christians the citizens of Judea had been reduced to one of those nations of "perfect savage" Polybius warned about because they were biting one another through their system of Corban set up by the government of Herod and the pharisees.

John the Baptist as Levite and son of a high priest had been returning people to the system of Freewill offerings managed by the Levites before the people rejected God and elected to have a ruler.

John was trying to return the people to the righteous principles of the kingdom of God. When Jesus was Baptized by John he hoped that Jesus would follow him in his work[8] but at the time John did not know Jesus would also become king.[9]

Jesus was both high priest and king with the power of Moses and Melchizedek and God himself. He could change everything taking the kingdom of Israel from the Pharisees and appoint it to His Apostles.

The people had to repent and stop biting one another through their socialist system of welfare where the people devour one another by taking the benefits from the fathers of the earth and fake benefactors of the world.

Now Jesus was telling them that they would only be able eat of Jesus' table of freewill offerings, of His Corban of charity. They would have to fast from and eventually give up the entitlements offered by the governments of the world, like the Corban of the Pharisees, because it was making the word of God to none effect.

This separate system of charitable practices taught and appointed by the Christ to His Ekklesia or Church would set the scene for the Christian conflict. At Pentecost thousands of families gathered in an organized system of tens who would learn to practice Pure Religion in faith, hope and charity according to the perfect law of liberty.

People will not be free nor should they be set free in Christ until they repent from eating the flesh of their neighbor and drinking the blood of others and set the table of the LORD in righteousness.

The Modern Christians is back in the bondage of Egypt and entangled again in the yoke of that bondage because of their covetous practices. They must now repent and seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

The kingdom of God appointed by Christ to His Church was one form of government where the people organized themselves in a network who cared about each other through the charitable practices of Pure Religion.
