God

We have talked about the gods many spoken of by Paul and Christ and who the gods and judges of the Old and New Testament were. They were the ruling judge's of the world who decide what is good and evil of the world

But who is the God?

Of course we cannot define an infinite God of Creation with finite words without doing and injustice to the listener to say nothing of God himself. God has no need of a name because he is the existing divine designer, the cause of the universe who is evident in the Law of Nature and Right Reason to those who have humble eyes to see.

While the reason someone may believe in God or not believe in God may vary. They may see the hypocrisy and corrupting influence of modern religion or resent its abuse. Or they may want to excuse or even oppress the need for a singular spiritual moral compass and in their vanity justify their own mental choices.

The Bible uses YHWH which is often translated "LORD", "Yahweh" or "Jehovah" or "Yahuwah"

The Hebrew Biblical for these translations is the word of “YHWH,” revealed to Moses in the book of Exodus chaper 3 is a name consisting of the sequence of consonants Yod, Hey, Vav, and Hey, and is known as the tetragrammaton. There are other names ascribed to God such as , El, Elohim, Eloah, Elohai, El Shaddai, and and even Tzevaot.

  • י Yod The Infinite Point of essential good. Divine spark hidden in the ט Tet. Spark of spirit. [closed hand... Deed, work, to make] (Numeric value: 10)
  • ה Hey Expression--Thought, Speech, Action. Manifest seeds of thought and life. [Emphasize, jubilation, window, fence] (Numeric value: 5)
  • ו Vav Connection, Connecting realms and worlds or the dividing veil between them. [nail... And, Add, secure, hook] (Numeric value: 6)
  • ה Hey Expression--Thought, Speech, Action. Manifest seeds of thought and life. [Emphasize, jubilation, window, fence] (Numeric value: 5)

God does not need a name.

We use names to identify people or things. When Moses asked about what he should call God[1]

And he got his answer, "And God said unto Moses, I AM[2] THAT [3] I AM[2]: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM[2] hath sent me unto you." Exodus 3:14

So, Moses was told to say "I AM" sent him. In the Hebrew text we see:

  • א Alef Father-Son- begin- The Paradox: God and Man - (ox bull) [strength, leader, first] (Numeric value: 1)
  • ה Hey Expression--Thought, Speech, Action. Manifest seeds of thought and life. [Emphasize, jubilation, window, fence] (Numeric value: 5)
  • י Yod The Infinite Point of essential good. Divine spark hidden in the ט Tet. Spark of spirit. [closed hand... Deed, work, to make] (Numeric value: 10)
  • ה Hey Expression--Thought, Speech, Action. Manifest seeds of thought and life. [Emphasize, jubilation, window, fence] (Numeric value: 5)

To say that He is the I AM is to express the idea that He is the existing one.

Scientist examine nature and see patterns in an endless layer of interrelations. They have their theories of Quantum, String, Membrane which all try to make sense out of what they see in Nature.

The idea of The God being at the original core of space and time along with everything that might be in between may include an idea that there is a Singularity.

That Singularity has been defined as, "the state, fact, quality, or condition of being singular" but in mathematics and physics that Singularity becomes "a point at which a function takes an infinite value".

They even theorize that may especially be true "in space-time when matter is infinitely dense, as at the center of a black hole". "Black holes are a theory people use to discuss heir opinions of what they believe might exist.

Even the "Big Bang" theory includes the idea of a singular source of creation. But a "theory is" at best "a carefully thought-out explanation for observations of the natural world that has been constructed using the scientific method, and which brings together many facts and hypotheses" which by their nature are finite but no matter how far we take the mind it may always imagine something farther which we call the infinite. And it is always little more than opinion of what the "Truth" actually is.

EXISTING ONE

God, whatever He may be, would fall into the realm of the infinite, always slightly beyond our imagination. The God of Creation, the cause of all we see and experience is not the resultof our opinion nor what we imagine. He is not an idol that we may create in our imagination but would exist prior tour opinion and not be subject to it. He simply "IS" the "I AM", the ultimate "TRUTH", that which actually "Exisists" and would be not all the gods of mans imagination or creation but is the "EXISTING ONE", THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIGHT by which all things are formed.

The great danger in escribing a name to God is that we attach a finite definition drawn from our opinion and therefore from our imagination to that name. Such opinions reduce God to a god, at least in our own mind. God is not moved by our opinion.

The ancients often identified God as the "unmoved mover", the original cause of the design from which all effects have sprung.

Richard Dawkins, an atheist, framed a critique of intelligent design, “The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is at bottom no design, no purpose, no evil, no good, nothing but blind pitiless indifference.”

But the truth is the idea of a “blind pitiless indifference” does not discount the existence of an unmoved mover nor intelligent design. In fact having a “blind pitiless indifference” is one of the primary skills of good parenting. If God was subject to pity he would not be unmoved. God may have created pity as a part of the cause and effect built into creation where we may have pity for one another but God himself by nature would not be subject to that pity except through those angles, messengers, or others who may serve that God rather than seek to be their own god.

good and evil

Did God create good and evil?

What is good and evil?

Good might be called the positive force or flow of righteous energy manifesting in the universe similar to the flow of light, heat, electricity while evil would be the absence of that energy. The repeating the pattern love and hate are not two different existing forces in the universe but hate is merely the absence of love, just as darkness is the absence of light.

All vice is merely the absence of virtues the same as light and dark, hot and cold. Evil then is just the absence of good and exists in the universe of Dawkins whether he likes it or not.

If death is the absence of life. When someone dies does their life go somewhere else just like light disappears from what now appears to be a dark room?

Is the same true of the Yin and Yang, a Chinese philosophical concept that describes what we say are opposite but interconnected forces? Chaos is not bad but is needed to make order a utility flowing into chaos to bring order where there was none.

Science believes that the energy that was called light still exists even though a room is now dark but now exists in another form.

If God is Infinite the finite has no capacity to entirely grasp it but we may seek God and the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

To a philosopher God, The Infinite, even if it cannot ever be fully found nor understood, is something sought through "Right Reason" as the "Will of God". To the student of Law it is found in the "Law of Nature", to the true or honest theologian he may see "Right Reason" as "Divine Will" which is sought in the service to God and our fellow man in humility and love which are produce through the individual sacrifice resulting from the practice of Pure Religion.

my people

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Can we really make God forgive sins by what we do?

If we can he is not the unmoved mover.

Is it that God, through His prophets, telling us how His created universe works?

If you are not loving your neighbor by sharing your life through a freewill sacrifice then your ways are absent the good and therefor may be wicked. If you are without virtue then your ways are the ways of iniquity. You are not born again nor do you love the light but darkness and chaos will occur in the absence of that love which is charity through faith.

"Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept [them]. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return? Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it]. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts." Malachi 3:7

Praying in the name of Yahushua/Jesus does not mean saying the word "Yahushua" or "Jesus or (YHWH) in your prayer. It means that when you ask, appeal or apply to God the Father you are to have the same character, spirit or nature as Jesus, Yahushua, YWHW, etc. In other words don't bother praying to God if your character, spirit or nature is that of a commandment breaker, like a liar, a thief or someone that is covetous, vain, jealous, slothful, lustful, greedy or fearful.

  • Marcus Tullius Cicero wrote, "The evil was not in the bread and circuses, per se, but in the willingness of the people to sell their rights as free men for full bellies and the excitement of the games which would serve to distract them from the other human hungers which bread and circuses can never appease."

The covetous practices of men leads to a degeneration of the Masses and a rise of tyrants. Man was given dominion over the earth and those things that creep upon it, fly above it or swim in its waters, but not over one another. The history of mankind demonstrates the "willingness of the people to sell their rights as free men". The Bible was mostly about how to govern yourselves and not go under other governments of men. This is why all the prophets of God, Christ, and the Apostles have been warning the people from the beginning not eat with rulers or go to those "Fathers of the earth" who call themselves "benefactors but "exercise authority" one over the other to provide social welfare. Those benefits are the wages of unrighteousness of a table from which we should not eat which are the result of covetous practices that will make us merchandise and curse children. All the problems of the world today can be traced back to the fact modern religions ignore the commandments and not to covet your neighbor's goods, make covenants with other gods, bow down and serve them to "sell their rights as free men for full bellies", nor borrow against the future and be slothful in the ways of righteousness.

We have been told to attend to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world of Rome nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on those fathers of the earth through force, fear and fealty who deliver the people back in bondage again like they were in Egypt. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ and have become workers of iniquity.

The Christian conflict with Rome in the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for their free bread but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens as He commanded.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.
