Bands

The Declaration of Independence was about the 'dissolving the political bands which have connected the people with another'.
But, what form of government and what bands bring you under the hand of tyrannts and despots?

Do you need to dissolve the bands of the welfare state you have been creating for the last one hundred years since FDR and LBJ?
