The Church in the Wilderness were the called out Levites who served the tents of the people.Their role as Ministers of a nation kept the people free for generations until they rejected God and sought a king which led to the dividing of the Kingdom of God. They like the Church established and appointed by Christ were to be Priests to all nations.
