Putting off the Building of God's temple in Haggai was simply people doing their own thing as if that is the same as seeking the Kingdom of God.

Building the temple of God and edifying the Kingdom of God is about sacrificing your will to the will of God and fasting from your wantonness to serve others in righteousness through a daily sacrifice, as God, Moses, and Jesus the Christ intended.

Building His temple is doing what Christ said. Sit down in the tens, hundreds, thousands and create a daily ministration of pure Religion that takes care of all social welfare of the people through faith, hope, and charity according to the perfect law of liberty.

That is the way to build the social bonds of a free society and receive the eternal life of promise.
