Jesus as the Christ told all to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness rather than force of the world. We would have an appetite for the perfect law of liberty rather than reward of unrighteousness. There would be no other Fathers nor rulers who could provide benefits and dainties[1] that we would desire nor pray for at our neighbor's expense.
Jesus taught us how to pray and watch, not just by what he said but with what He did. Should a believer's prayer make their neighbors prey of men who exercise authority?[2]
While covetous practices may be excused among religious philosophies, and even condoned by modern Churches and their ministers who love their pulpits more than the truth it was forbidden[3] by Christ.[4]
If we love one another that would manifest itself in positive ways[5] and remains a part of the process of life. Just as Christ picked up His cross there was a price he was willing to pay, the followers of The Way of Christ consent daily to pick up their own cross.
