Riots
Crowd psychology is the broad study of how individual behavior is impacted when large crowds group together, often with a negative social impact or later included emergency-type of environments producing more positive social impacts. ...

Scipio Sighele and Gabriel Tarde, Gustave LeBona, and Freud examined the theory of Crowd psychology and added to it. Some, like Columbia University's Tory Higgins, a professor of psychology, believes that riots such as the those of June 2020 in US cities typically occur when people feel "ineffective." "In situations like this, there is a long period prior to the riot of feeling that you're not in control of your own life.
A riot is a form of civil disorder commonly characterized by a group lashing out in a violent public disturbance against authority, property or people. Riots typically involve destruction of property, public or private. The property targeted varies depending on the riot and the inclinations of those involved.

George Floyd
Supposedly these riots occurred because George Floyd was “murdered by Minneapolis police officers”. Many media outlets were reporting that George did not “resisting arrest”. But like the Covington boys the media pushed a narrative that is not supported by available video in the early stages of the reports. Four officers could not get George Floyd to get into the patrol car and wrestled with him until he was finally restrained next to the vehicle on the ground. He appeared to be injured when he was resisting arrest and refusing to get into the police vehicle. There was blood in his mouth so the police called for an ambulance. Maybe they were going to transport him in the ambulance since they were unable to get him to get in the car.
Nika riots
The preliminary finding from the official autopsy stated "The autopsy revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation. Mr. Floyd had underlying health conditions including coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease. The combined effects of Mr. Floyd being restrained by the police, his underlying health conditions and any potential intoxicants in his system likely contributed to his death.”

So much is not known and much of what is known is not reported, After reading dozens of accounts I am convinced that the media is not telling the whole truth about what little evidence is available. They are rushing the people to angry judgment as if they want to spark anti police violence. Did Derek Chauvin,Thomas Lane, J.A. Kueng and Tou Thao act in a manner to cause the death of George Floyd?
Riots have broken out after and even during hockey, football, rugby, and soccer games. In Constantinople the Nika riots over the course of a week in 532 CE when some of the most violent riots in the city's history, burned half of Constantinople with tens of thousands of people killed.

Was it a race war? In a manner of speaking you could say that. At the Hippodrome on January 13, 532, at the end of the 22nd chariot race crowed  began to chant NIKA! NIKA!

The term can be translated WIN! WIN! but it really means victory by conquering. In Greek it is the root word of Nicolaitan whose deeds God hates.

Those chanting were the two teams, Blues and Greens. There were other teams like red and white but they were less significant. These sport teams also had a political element to them. They would shout political chants between races and events.

Justinian and an officials, John the Cappadocian had been reducing the civil service and combating corruption. The shadow government of the power elite resisted this attempt at draining the swamp of a vast bureaucracy. many of those who lost or feared loosing their lucrative positions joined the ranks of the Greens.

The media had clearly tried the officers in the press, found them guilty and often failed to report any evidence that might suggest that the death was an accident. That is for a jury to decide. They are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Justinian reduced the political influence and lobbying power of both Blue and Green teams. Both cited these reforms as imperial oppression. Romans believed themselves "chosen by God" and Justinian reform of their codes in thirteen months was praised by some but gave the appearance  of a cause to be angry by others. They had slowed to a crawl because the aristocracy objected and were hindering him at every opportunity. A reduction of rules and a simplification of the codes  made it impossible for the aristocracy, power elite, to use the complex codes and obscure laws avoid unfavorable verdicts or prosecutions of themselves.

It is not yet and should not be clear exactly who is guilty of what until all the evidence is revealed. These cases should not be tried in the press. Every citizen should reserve judgment until all the evidence is heard. Knowing the track record of the news for media malpractice no one should rush to judgment until all the facts are revealed.
There were accusations concerning a murder by a Blue and a Green whose sentence had been commuted from death to imprisonment rather than a pardon. But that seemed to just be a means to ignite the growing tension.

Many of the senators saw this as an opportunity to overthrow Justinian. They and the aristocratic shadow government had opposed his reforms and popularity. They encouraged the Blue and Greens who attacked the palace and elected a new emperor, Hypatius. On his coronation day  Narses carrying a bag of gold given to him by Justinian came into the Hippodrome and bribed the leaders of the Blue team to withdraw their support from Hypatius and the Greens. Upon leaving thirty thousand rioters were killed as rebels by the army of  Belisarius and Mundus who stormed into the Hippodrome.

The social impact of media malpractice, false flags, distorted view of history, lower moral standards can all be contributing factors to riots.

Racial violence was ignited by political, social, and racial tensions following the American Civil War, in the early stages of Reconstruction. Certainly, rioters who loot and rob, break and burn their own neighborhoods and communities would be a clear sign of that perfect savagery predicted by Polybius long before the first Emperor seized control of the Republic. Roman history was punctuated with such riots as it went from a capitalist practicing Republic to a social Democracy with its free bread and circuses. Long before its fall its fate was sealed by its apathy, immorality, and covetous practices.

But what are the early signs of that degeneration of both individuals and society? Riots are not caused by a few provocateurs who may mingle in the crowds but caused by the spirit of selfishness that has already made a home in the hearts of the inhabitance of the city.

Some psychologists are confounded by riots taking place in the world but are also quick to judge perceived injustice, political motives, or racism as the cause. Many rioters are not desperately poor. Many of those "rioting" are just stealing stuff like clothes, shoes and electronic devises that they do not even need.

* "Men nowadays no longer secretly, but openly outrage the wives of others, and allow others access to their own wives. A match is thought countrified, uncivilized, in bad style, and to be protested against by all matrons, if the husband should forbid his wife to appear in public in a litter, and to be carried about exposed to the gaze of all observers. If a man has not made himself notorious by a liaison with some mistress, if he does not pay an annuity to some one else's wife, married women speak of him as a poor-spirited creature, a man given to low vice, a lover of servant girls. Soon adultery becomes the most respectable form of marriage, and widowhood and celibacy are commonly practised. No one takes a wife unless he takes her away from some one else. Now men vie with one another in wasting what they have stolen, and in collecting together what they have wasted with the keenest avarice; they become utterly reckless, scorn poverty in others, fear personal injury more than anything else, break the peace by their riots, and by violence and terror domineer over those who are weaker than themselves. No wonder that they plunder provinces and offer the seat of judgment for sale, knocking it down after an auction to the highest bidder, since it is the law of nations that you may sell what you have bought."

Even the Greek word korban is related to the term korbanas<Ref>Korbanas: among the Jews the holy treasury. Pilate spent the holy treasury on an aqueduct and stirred up a riot. It brought in water from a distance of seventy-two kilometers. Bringing in his army, he killed many. Rulers, like Cain, Nimrod, Pharaoh, and Saul may gain power in many ways, but always resort to the use of force like ... to provide the Welfare by force can degenerate the grantor and receiver into perfect savages. The desire for benefits at the expense of your neighbor not only divides society but is a snare for the soul of the people who develop an appetite for the wages of unrighteousness. To understand the Crowd psychology of a mob that cause of his rioting you must understand the fallen nature of man and where his thinking has gone into error, how he got to this state of chaos, and how he might repent.

Riots

A riot is a form of civil disorder commonly characterized by a group lashing out in a violent public disturbance against authority, property or people. Riots typically involve destruction of property, public or private. The property targeted varies depending on the riot and the inclinations of those involved.

Nika riots

Prison riots

Prison riots are not "civil disorder" and therefore are listed here to share to see under lying relationship of Crowd psychology and even underlying cause of an Addiction to violence or even drugs whch will be revisited in the recording and podcasts of Keys of the Kingdom.

The Attica Prison uprising, also known as the Attica Prison rebellion or Attica Prison riot, occurred at the Attica Correctional Facility in Attica, New York, United States, in 1971. Based upon prisoners' demands for better living conditions and political rights, the uprising was one of the most well-known and significant flashpoints of the Prisoners' Rights Movement.

Prison riots can be caused by:

 1. Poor or no responses to legitimate inmate complaints and requests.
 2. Failure to respond to inmate-to-inmate violence and overcrowding.
 3. Failure to control contraband, graft and corruption.
 4. Inconsistent enforcement of rules and responsibility.
 5. Lack of meaningful programs or activities for inmates.

Biblical riots

The actual carved stone used in the aqueduct that brought water into Jerusalem. Using certain public funds for this government building project enraged the people to riot because they saw a breech of trust.
Herod and the Pharisees with the help of a corrupt Sanhedrin had set up a system of social security where citizens had to pay in as registered members. This system of Legal charity by force would "make the word of God to none effect" and the people wold become human resources for the rulers who called themselves benefactors. This system of Corban offering the wages of unrighteousness would also cause families to breakdown as the primary social unit and curse children as a surety for the debt of the New Deal. It would eventually strangle the hue an cry and divides society rather than bring them together, weaken the poor like the Sin of Sodom, and degenerate individuals into perfect savages.

Even the Greek word korban is related to the term korbanas[1], signifying the “temple treasury.” The Jewish historian Josephus makes it clear that funds from the temple treasury were called “Corban,” hence could not be used for secular purposes, e.g., city improvements, as in the building of an aqueduct for water supply.[2]

The same term is translated treasury in Matthew 27:6, "And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood."

Pontius Pilate had put down riots because the Corban. The people's social security money that was kept in the temple treasury was used to build an aqueduct. Despite what people like to think there is no separation of funds in these government treasuries so while Pilate's actions were brutal his position was legally correct.

The structure of Roman society and its government had changed from the original Libera res publica of early Rome. It had moved away from the individual responsibility, charity and trust to practices that instituted force that would degenerate the people into perfect savages. While Polybius predicted this process and Plutarch explained it was Jesus the Christ who taught this other way of thinking. John the Baptist, Jesus and the apostles preached that we should repent and seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

We were to turn from the wages of unrighteousness and the Corban of the pharisees and the free bread if Rome and return to the righteous daily ministration of God in the practice of Pure Religion instead of the covetous practices of men who call themselves benefactors but exercise authority one anther. They are not faithful in love for one another for they are biting one another until they are devoured.

2 Peter 2:13 "And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, [as] they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots [they are] and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;"

What the Bible has tried to tell us is how we structure society with our thinking and our thinking is altered also by the way we structure our society.

Causes vs Excuses

There are "Causes and excuses" for riots. The cause is often an internal element in the people or lack of character within the people brought on by environmental, social and cultural practices that manipulate and control not only the structure of society but also the minds of the individuals within society.

We made a report on Riots and their fundamental causes. It is the moral foundation of the individuals with in society or the lack of a moral foundation that makes the people vulnerable to be tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine. To help everyone understand elements of of societies vulnerability we offer the article on Crowd psychology which may lead to riots.

Counting Crimes and Incarcerations

There are politicians, protesters and pundits who gather and share statistics correlating the numbers with the cause of what is conveniently identified as a problem in society.

But correlation alone is not proof of the cause. In statistics, the phrase "correlation does not imply causation" is a reference to the inability to legitimately deduce a cause-and-effect relationship between variables solely on the basis of an observable association or correlation between them. The idea that "correlation implies causation" is a questionable-cause logical fallacy, in which two events occurring together are taken to have established a cause-and-effect relationship when in fact they have not.

Without understanding all of the factors effecting the processes of the individual events and their effects upon the crowd psychology of society as a group evidence of the actual causality may be illusive. Causality is influence by which one event, process or state contributes to the production of another event, process or state where the cause is partly responsible for the resulting effect, and the effect is partly dependent upon the cause. In general, a process may have many causes, which are also said to be causal factors.

Where is the real threat to communities and their members?

Is it the judicial and police policies or other factors driving statistics?

Can community or collective cultural practices cultivate the apathy, sloth, avarice, and greed of the people themselves?

What really is taking the liberty and the lives in society?

Is racism rampant?

Is it even a significant factor in causing the difficulties and inequalities in society as some people suggest the statistics prove?

Why are people rioting? If they are wrong about their conclusions concerning the real meaning of statistics presented and repeated in the media, what is the truth?

What has caused liberty to diminish and society to decay in nation after nation from the dawn of man?

The Race in America, a Holy Post video by Phil Vischer correlates what appears to be an impressive list of statistics which he seems to claims prove the cause of the plight of American Black community is racism.

Are there statistical disparity in his statistical conclusions and is there a "lurking variable" he has not perceived?

Have communities been accepting ideas that have been creeping in to their thinking through schemes or practices that have been steadily altering the course and culture of society?

"I have begun everything with the idea that I could succeed, and I never had much patience with the multitudes of people who are always ready to explain why one cannot succeed. – Booker T Washington

While Phil's video is polished the facts can be misleading because it is missing a basic understanding of the key factors in the individual and social development of communities as the root causes of why they break down. His presentation is not alone in its misconception of the cause and effect for societal decay.

"A whining crying race may be pitied but seldom respected." – Booker T Washington

Many of the statistics presented by pundits who point to racism as the problem are used by their opponents to prove another cause for the effects we see.

There are those that like quoting that "In 2018, black people were three times more likely to be killed by police than were whites." That sounds terrible but is it because of racism?

What they fail to mention is that Blacks commit more than 5 times the crimes as Whites including almost 50 percent of the murders even though they only account for 12% of the population.

In 2016 there were 6676 murders in the USA, 3176 were committed by blacks and 3196 by whites. Blacks are only 12% but commit almost 50% of the murders. How is that possible?

And white account for the other half of the murders but are more than half at 61% of the population. In 2016 there were 777 interracial homicides. 553 were committed by Blacks. Why are blacks committing more homicides?

Statistics also show that about 68 to 85% of all interracial homicides are committed by Blacks even though they are only 12% of the population. Historically speaking black people are not more violent than white people so the present statistics of who is most violent has nothing to do with race.

So what is causing this extreme inequality in murder and violent crimes rates if it is not racial?

And what about police killings?

The FBI counted 435 “justifiable homicides” by police officers in 2016, and in 429 of the cases, the person had a firearm when killed.

Police have over 60,000,000 encounters every year with the public. They only arrest 10,000,000 annually, a number that has steadily gone down since 2006. Even though their job includes finding, capturing, and arresting some of the most violent murders, gangsters, thieves, and robbers in the nation they are able to do that with very few actual deaths. Police killed 1,165 people in 2018. Seeing that the police are called to get to the most dangerous part of town and confront the most desperate criminals in your community as quickly as possible it would seem that more people would likely die in a nation of 320,000,000 people.

On the other hand 250,000 people in the US are killed every year because of medical mistakes, making it the third-leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer.[3]

Even though there are about 883.7 million visits to Physicians[4] only 36,353,946 people are admitted to all U.S. Hospitals.[5]

Doctors are human, like policeman they make mistakes, "Roughly 12,000,000 Americans are misdiagnosed each year."[6]

While Doctors do have to deal with complex issues they are not endanger of being shot, stabbed or over powered by their patience when they are making their diagnosis. They have to make choices but do not have to chase their patience in dark streets or wrestle their patience to the ground, subdue them, and take them into custody while in life threatening situations. Still thousands die because of mistakes doctors make all the time.

In 2017, police killed 19 unarmed black males, down from 36 in 2015, according to The Washington Post. There were 66 police officers in 2016 were “feloniously” killed but 135 died in the line of duty.

How many lives do police officers save every year by direct action? How many do they save by their mere presence as a deterrent?

"A recent “deadly force” study by Washington State University researcher Lois James found that police officers were less likely to shoot unarmed black suspects than unarmed white or Hispanic ones in simulated threat scenarios. Harvard economics professor Roland Fryer analyzed more than 1,000 officer-involved shootings across the country. He concluded that there is zero evidence of racial bias in police shootings. In Houston, he found that blacks were 24 percent less likely than whites to be shot by officers even though the suspects were armed or violent." If people look deeper into some of the same Race Statistics in America used by Phil Vischer and many others what conclusions do they draw as to the causality of problems seen in the Black community?

Do they see the police and racism as a source of the problem?

Have the policies of politicians undermined the culture and even the morality of society? Are they doing it now? Has "Legal charity" and the welfare state begun by men like FDR been the "lurking variable" that has been confounding society again as seen over and over throughout history?

The real cause of riots and social unrest is the degeneration of society through the heart and mind of the people by the acceptance of covetous practices which is often funded and fueled in the spreading of gifts, gratuities, and benefits by the power of government and at the expense of their neighbor.

Race Statistics in America

People are divided by their own pride, greed, covetousness, and of course their sloth and wantonness.

Is Larry Elder an Uncle Tom? Who or what is harming and destroying the black community?
https://youtu.be/vbhFubiFiqg 56 minutes
"All too often when liberals cite statistics, they forget the statisticians' warning that correlation is not causation." Thomas Sowell

Any fact or even the "messenger" who points to a fact that contradicts the theory of major racial oppression is called an enemy, an "Uncle Tom", or a racist. Like religious zealots who use their ideology to justify themselves, despite their weakness and frailties or fallacies, will gather their "pitchforks and torches" and desire to burn you at the stake even if they set the whole world on fire.

"If you have always believed that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards, that would have gotten you labeled a radical 60 years ago, a liberal 30 years ago and a racist today." Thomas Sowell

This idea that racism is the cause of the plight of the Black-man was financially lucrative for many who depended on continuing racial friction or the appearance of it. Men have depended on keeping the people at odds from Caesar to Al Sharpton.

"Over the generations, black leaders have ranged from noble souls to shameless charlatans." Thomas Sowell

Could the victim of racism become a racist?

"I shall allow no man to belittle my soul by making me hate him." Booker T Washington

Without a culture of forgiveness, and a regular call to forgive, you will become like those whom you are insisting upon hating.[7]

"If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else." [8] You will not be able to do that until you forgive them first.

"For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." Matthew 7:2

"Of all forms of slavery there is none that is so harmful and degrading as that form of slavery which tempts one human being to hate another by reason of his race or color." – Booker T. Washington

Those who preach any other gospel than love and forgiveness lead the people away from liberty under God. Only the truth will set you free.

"The time is long overdue to stop looking for progress through racial or ethnic leaders. Such leaders have too many incentives to promote polarizing attitudes and actions that are counterproductive for minorities and disastrous for the country." Thomas Sowell

Assigning collective guilt may be simple or even comforting but it may be expensive in social capital. Focusing our attention on the negative may graft negative into our own mind. To do so with resentment, judgment and angry unforgiveness may draw us into the very thing we claim to hate.

Booker T Washington knew that "At the bottom of education, at the bottom of politics, even at the bottom of religion, there must be for our race economic independence." He knew to whine and complain or just think of yourself as a victim whether real or imagined is destructive. To desire benefits without working for them and becoming dependent upon those gratuities would degenerate and destroy the very character of the people.

"I have begun everything with the idea that I could succeed, and I never had much patience with the multitudes of people who are always ready to explain why one cannot succeed." – Booker T Washington

"I would say: “Cast down your bucket where you are.” Cast it down, making friends in every manly way of the people of all races, by whom you are surrounded." Booker T Washington's “Atlanta Compromise” address or “Cast down your bucket" speech
