Someone sent me the Larken Rose video about authority being a myth. So I sent them the following link:

Their response was as follows and a series of questions someone else asked which I respond to below:

Does having some believe you are the embodiment of authority give you authority over them and all others not in your click or group?

It gives you no legal or even lawful authority but it probably gives you an emotional hold on the individual who holds you up on a pedestal of imagined or believed authority. That takes place at all levels of society and is usually due to weak character among the people.

What constitutes authority outside ones own inner guide but the threat of violence if not 100% subservient to?

The greatest destroyers of liberty are not the violent but those who grant benefits. People readily sell themselves because of their own covetousness. The kingdom of God and the freedom that goes with it is from generation to generation. If one generation sells itself into bondage its heirs will inherit that bondage unless they accept the whole truth and provide for it by being diligent in seeking it and righteousness. Those who do not work for the freedom and protection of other freedom-seekers will probably not be free and may not survive freedom if they were to find it.

Does power corrupt?

It can corrupt but it did not corrupt Christ and others. But most selfish people are easily corrupted by giving them power.

Just where do men and women begin this process of belief in thugs and liars as authorities?

When those thugs and liars offer to take from others for your benefit, they often promise you liberty from your own responsibility. Suggesting they will only take from the rich and other so called selfish people. They say we will take care of your children's education, we will protect you from dangerous bad guys, or from fires, and we will make roads and bridges to make your life easier. They even say they will take care of your parents when they are old.

All you have to do is just give us the power to take from your neighbor. Most people would agree to that and have. Of course their neighbor agreed that they could take from you too. And a despot is born out of all the little despotic covetousness of the people who are willing to take a bite out of their neighbor.

Perhaps that beginning is that lies and thuggery are actually what we venerate while believing we venerate justice morality peace and honour?

Of course. Everyone wanted a free education and freedom from their parents' medical bills etc. All selfish people are deep down just thugs who want free stuff at other people's expense. Even if they take no benefit they still may be miscreants and indolent sluggards because they do not gather to take care of others when they really need help. Those are the slothful and should be under tribute.

Is it even possible for a just moral honourable people to be led by psychopathic criminals?

Why would moral honorable people seek to be led by psychopaths? Would they not be leading their society in righteousness? may be everyone is not as moral and honorable as they would like to think. Maybe they are suffering from a Psychosis of their own.

Does psychopathy begin with belief?

It begins with vanity and selfishness.

Does overcoming it begin with dealing with facts?

If we will see the truth about ourselves first.

Can any society be healthy while believing in and using such mediums as money?

I assume you are talking about debt notes as if that is money. You cannot force people to stop using those notes without becoming one of those "thugs and liars". You cannot alter their society but you can alter your direction and gather with people going another way. That is Repentance. Happiness comes from inside and moves outward.

Can laws be placed over the creators of money to keep t.h.e.m. in line or that some clever system can be implemented that will prevent money from handing all energy over to its creators eventually?

Not unless people can come together. It would only take about 5%.

Was the creation of money designed to do exactly this and can do nothing else?

The creation of debt notes is about power and greed but it is also self destructive like being an alcoholic or drug addict.

Does therefore criminality depend on our continued use of money?

Criminality depends on good men doing nothing. Not gathering in meaningful ways to seek righteousness and service unselfishly sacrificing daily for that righteousness. That is doing nothing. That is slothful

Does our continued use of money depend on belief in outward authorities?

The continued use of debt notes is the result of our own selfishness in failing to come together.

Is our belief in outward authorities evidence of our cowardice and avarice in action?

As Polybius said

"The masses continue with an appetite for benefits and the habit of receiving them by way of a rule of force and violence. The people, having grown accustomed to feed at the expense of others and to depend for their livelihood on the property of others... institute the rule of violence; and now uniting their forces massacre, banish, and plunder, until they degenerate again into perfect savages and find once more a master and monarch."

If we want things to change we must change.

We must change our minds, our thinking to that of Christ.

We must come together to serve and save others.

That is coming in the name of Christ.

Too Subtle?

I may have been too subtle in the answers for some people to see the truth because their anger at the people in these offices of authority blinds them to the real problem.

The powers that be, the Benefactors who exercise authority, the Fathers of the earth or the despots of the world are all a by-product of our willingness to give them that corrupting power through our own covetousness, wantonness and sloth.

We or our parents or the generations before them have desired benefits at our neighbors' expense. As Polybius said 2000 years ago the "masses continue with an appetite for benefits and the habit of receiving them by way of a rule of force and violence" and have "degenerated" into their present state. To create a despot it takes two to tango.

It is not enough to not take benefits now. We must become the Benefactors who do not exercise authority - the volunteer Fathers of our neighbor's family when they are in want and need. We cannot do that unless we come together in love for one another. And we cannot love one another if we are spending our energy hating the enemy who we and the generations before us created.

Until we make a Religion of forgiveness we will not be able to come together in a meaningful way where freedom may reign. Unforgiveness and hatred of our enemy keeps us a divided people. Pride and lack of humility keeps us blind to that truth. Until we stop being slothful in The Way of Christ and come together in congregations of families to be the Kingdom of God in His righteousness, peculiar people who sacrifice in a daily ministration of love for all others, we will continue in the dance of the despots.

By not coming together in love and sacrifice and being a government of righteousness through faith, hope and charity and the perfect law of liberty you give comfort to the enemy.
