Daniel on the Africa Network group made a point (His "2 cents" read bellow) that stirred something I wanted to share.

Many on the email groups are not a part of any real network and they certainly are not in conformity with Christ. They may be in conformity with the doctrines of one or even several of the so-called Christian denominations like the Baptists or Lutherans or any number of different religious groups. But they have not repented of what Christ complained about nor are they saved.

They are under a Strong Delusion.

The single and first command of Jesus was to Repent and seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Those are all things to do. And if you are not doing them then I would think 1 Peter 4:17 comes into play. "For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begin] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?"

It was also Peter who said in Acts 5:29 "Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men."

Are you obeying Jesus?

Are you seeking the kingdom and the righteousness of God?

Are you loving your neighbor as yourself?

Are you instead surety for debt, Merchandise who curse their children.

Most of the religions, or I should say Denominations, who occupy the 501(c)3 churches have made up complex doctrines created by misusing words from the Bible like "power", "liberty", "righteousness", "kingdom" and even "god" and "Religion".

The Doctrines of Jesus are simple and we should not be adding to it nor fabricating denominational doctrines to divide people.

Churches use to take care of all social welfare.

The Gospel is about a government or form of government called the Kingdom of God that is at hand where you can take care of one another in faith, hope and charity and no one has to go to the Fathers of the earth nor the Benefactors who exercise authority. That kingdom is a network that runs on love.

Who would not help someone stranded on the side of the road? The whole world is stranded, drowning, sinking in quicksand, dying and only the government of God can help them.

But most do not even know what it looks like. You are reading this. You may have some idea of what that kingdom looked like or looks like but what are you doing to show others, to help others, to be a light for others?

Modern Christians teach all you have to do is believe or accept Jesus as your personal savior.

Where is the Pure Religion of the Early Church? I see the Corban of the Pharisees but where is the Corban of Christ?

Where is the Repentance that would bear such fruit as we see among the Believers of that early Church. Jesus said repent and seek not only the kingdom but righteousness. If you are not doing that then it pretty clear that you do not really believe in Jesus but are merely under a strong delusion.

Admittedly there may be lots of ways to do that and great liberty in our daily choices in that pursuit of the kingdom and the righteousness of God.

But people should not be dividing themselves over their private or even denominational interpretation of the Bible.

They should be coming together to serve and provide for one another with charity and in hope. If they don't then they are not coming in the name of Christ.

Common sense dictates that you create such a Network that binds the people with mutual love which would be based on that charity and service.

Most of the people at the time of Christ thought it was okay to take from their neighbor to get free bread and circuses.

Early Christians learned to think in another way. That is called repenting and caused them to think differently and do things differently.

So I ask again if you have repented and are seeking the kingdom

People followed Abraham, Moses, John the Baptist and Jesus. The altars of clay and stone was a way to create the social bonds of free people. The levites led the Israelites. And the early Church followed Christ and His Way, which was The Way, and advocated a Daily ministration that was dependent on Pure Religion through Fervent charity only. This was the Corban of Christ which was not like the system of Corban of the Pharisees nor of Rome or the systems of FDR and LBJ.
The church lost "the way" when it abandoned the practice of "pure Religion" while claiming to be the Church established by Christ. The people developed an appetite for the "wages of unrighteousness" from "public religion" in the days of Constantine. Those new Christians that often failed to fully repent degenerated the moral character of society with the masses of "instant christians".
That new religion of the emperor introduced a new faith with his apostate church replacing the doctrine of Jesus with the "doctrines of men", the Holy Spirit with emotion, the truth with the speaking of "great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage."[1]
They had a form of godliness but denied the power thereof.

Where is your religion

  • Do you only gather for the comfort it gives you, or do you gather to benefit others?
  • Christ came to serve, not be served. Do you desire to be served, or are you coming in His name and according to His character to serve others?

If we desire His Grace but we only love those who love us, then there is no Grace because it is clear we do not really believe in Him.

If we do not Repent of our Covetous Practices and are not diligently gathering together in Free Assemblies of Love for all to provide for one another in Charity according to the Perfect law of liberty then we have nothing according to Paul. According to Luke 6:32 if we only love those who love us there is no "Grace". Christ also said if you do not Forgive neither will the Father forgive you.[2]

It is not enough to hate the deeds of the workers of iniquity, but we must return to Thy first love and thy first work. To break the yoke, we need to return to the ways of righteousness spoken of in Isaiah 58 which are the ways of Christ and the early Church. And His yoke is light for it is carried by our love of one another.

Abraham, Moses, John the Baptist and Christ all created Networks of charity to care for the true needy of society without force which is how they were able to help set people free. Do you gather with His Church to attend to the Weightier matters as Christ said?

  • Are you gathering in a Network of righteousness?
  • Do you come to love others or just be loved?

Early Christians found themselves in conflict with these systems of social welfare because they made the word of God to none effect. Christians had repented of their covetous nature when they received the Baptism of Christ. They heard and became Doers of the word not hearers only.

Remember Proverbs 12:24, "The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the Slothful shall be under Tribute."

We know that liberty under God is not for the covetous who are Biting one another but it is also not for the slothful. If we are not congregating together in free assemblies bound together in a broad network by faith, hope, and charity alone according to the perfect law of liberty then we are not truly seeking the Kingdom of God nor His righteousness.

Hi All

If I may give my 2 cents here...

What I understand after many hours of reading HHC books and listening to Gregory's talks is that HHC is an existing structure based on the principles of the early church for the purpose of people to join in to learn the ways of Christ. I have heard Gregory say many times that HHC is merely a living network of men living attempting to live by the doctrines of Christ. If HHC represents/ manifests the true gospel/ doctrines of Christ, then this way is the only way that we should seek to organize ourselves, not true?

I don't think that HHC should worry about competing with the state churches i.t.o numbers, but should focus on spreading the truth of the gospel. Christ will bring the people and build his own church. Isn't it always the faithful remnant of any generation that is saved? Shall everyone inherit salvation or only those few faithful that obey and perform the teachings of Christ?

Is Rob implying that you don't have to do any works as evidence of your change of heart, to be saved? Is the 'over emphasis of "You're not doing what Christ said...", not merely calling people to repentance by telling them to align their ways with Christ's ways? Is HHC also not merely a continuation of the first century church as preached by Christ and his apostles? If you are then not part of the HHC living network or doing what they recommend you start doing in order to follow the Way of Christ - are you truly part of the Kingdom? Are you in the Kingdom if you do not do the things that the King preached to do in order to qualify to be part of the Kingdom?

What is Rob really saying here?

Cheers Daniel

Some people think the message we share as the Gospel has some sort of imbalance to it. This was mentioned in a recent thread on the California group that came from a mention of 1 Peter 2:13 http://www.preparingyou.com/wiki/1_Peter_2:13

What one person might call an imbalance or even the HHC way may not be an imbalance in us but it may be an imbalance in your own thinking.

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

It should be real easy to see. Just compare what you are doing and other churches of the world to what we are doing to what the early Church was doing.

As far as being a doer of the word or doing what the early Church did HHC is seeking to follow what is the clear evidence of that pattern.

People hate the false religion posing as Church in the form of thousands of denominations but that malcontent blinds people to the true mission of those early appointed ministers which should be simple and easy to see.

Everything hinges on love. Common sense tells us that coming together in a self organized network helps us help each other. Not organizing yourself in a network of Free Assemblies for the purposes of helping others and the hope of being helped some day if we ever need it seems to be foolish, slothful and selfish from a common sense point of view.

Seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness seems to be a two part process that may require sacrifice, charity and love which are all the same thing.

Jesus died that you might be saved. Each of us is given a life, time and talent and then God watches to see what we do with we were given.

The individual who did little or nothing with what he was given was called the "wicked and slothful servant", and announces that the policy of the kingdom is that the slothful is not rewarded "For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

That is Jesus talking, not me.

I think building a network of Charity which is what the Church appointed by Christ was doing and is a good and Christ like idea.

Evidently a lot of people do not see the wisdom of that or just do not want to take the time. This is why we are doing more with and for those who form congregations and demonstrate the service nature of Christ.

If people do not want to be a socialist that may be a good thing but if they do not want to do what the alternative is which is a voluntary system through Faith, Hope and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tens ... well that is either slothful or just plain stupid in my humble opinion.

His Church is a descriptive designation not a denomination. The phrase identifies a Church as belonging to Christ because the only common denominator of the Church established by Jesus who was the Christ is Jesus.

To say His Church is is to say His Ekklesia which would be His Called out which would consists of the ministers who serve the congregations or Free Assemblies of the people who are seeking the Kingdom of God at hand and His righteousness.

His early Church had a Daily ministration that cared for the widows and orphans and needy of society in Pure Religion. To be a viable part of Living Network of believers the people had to be Doers of the Word and not forsake the gathering together according to the Doctrines of Jesus and not hearers only.

But will may will choose to believe a lie and rest in a strong delusion that they can save themselves by what they say they believe or even by what they think about God as if that was the Religion of Christ. We cannot save our self by what we say we believe. We should see the Fruits worthy of Repentance.

The people, if they truly believed in Christ, should be found striving to attend to what Christ called the Weightier matters

Gregory,

I'd like to add...

You have a strong draw on people. We who have found this network usually have arrived here at a time of dissolution with the state church and man's governments. There is a sense of having had the rug pulled out from under ones feet and we by nature desperately want somewhere to land.

Because of this trauma, and that's what it is, some people latch on to the truth you have and literally start devouring everything you say, some literally begin to brainwash themselves listening to your audio and reading all you write.

This is where I am concerned that people get caught up in the imbalanced message and can fall into a mechanical "doing" and believe that the "doing" is saving them.

Perhaps these things shed more light on what I originally wrote.

Gregory,

I have never heard you say we earn mercy grace or Spirit. What I wrote is I hear an underlying message.

I say underlying because it is subtle and comes through what I believe is an over emphasis of "You're not doing what Christ said..."

I am not crying that you don't tickle my ears but there is an imbalance in your message. There is an exclusivity demonstrated constantly that implies the HHC Network structure is the only way.

This coupled with things I have heard you say more than once regarding miracles and things of the spirit that take place when you "begin to walk a certain way" suggest that unless one is in an HHC core they are not doing God's will.

Again, it's an underlying message that comes through.

I could just go away and say nothing like many have but I am trying to point out why many have gone away. And that does not mean they went away from the Father.
