The truth is the early [[Church]] at [[Pentecost]] and the Israelites leaving the [[Bondage]] of Egypt and even  Abraham's altars as many souls leaving Ur<Ref>Genesis 12:5 And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.</Ref> all created a system of social welfare operating on [[Freewill, offerings|free will offerings]]. It has always been the abandonment of and by the people of such charitable systems that produced a [[Welfare]] system that not only made the word of God to [[Corban|none effect]] but was a snare and a trap that made [[Merchandise]] of the people and cursed their children.
The only way to liberty under God is and always has been  return to that godly system.

Come out

In 2 Corinthians 6:17[1] we see Paul say "Come out".

We see the same words from the Greek word exerchomai [2] in Revelation 18:4 [3]

Nowhere in the gospel of Christ as presented by Jesus, which is the Gospel of the kingdom,[4] do you see the command to “come out” except when Jesus is talking to demons like we see in Mark 1:25 [5] and Mark 5:8-13 [6] and then in Mark 7:29 [7]

Luke also uses the term "come out" in reference to demons and spirits in Chapter 4:35-36, [8] and again in Luke 8:29-33 [9].

First things

So if He did not say "come out", what did He say?

What Christ commanded was that we were to "seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness".[10]

He told us to love one another,[11] and love our neighbor.[12]

There are a number of preachers and groups that lead with the idea of coming out. They want to come out of Babylon, or the system, or become sovereign citizens etc. They have been buying into these 'get free quick' schemes for decades, and there are many of them around.

While Moses and Jesus Christ both freed millions of people from the bondage of Egypt, and then the same type of bondage instituted by Herod through the Corban of the Pharisees, we see almost no one using The Blessed Strategy or seeking to follow The Way of Christ.

False Ways

In a maze there can be far more wrong answers than correct ones.

There are so many interpretations of the Gospel of Jesus. It may be difficult to decipher objectively what He really said and directed His followers to do. There are numerous direct statements by Jesus about what we, as His true followers, should be doing and not be doing, but many of these directives are completely bypassed by Modern Christians.

There is certainly enough information and quotes about what Jesus directed His people to do. With a little accurate knowledge of history and language it should be rather easy to unravel the plan of Christ. Unfortunately, many people will not be able to hear or understand.

Part of that is because of preconceived notions; but it is often the result of not being willing to accept the truth about Christ. This has led to more than 40,000 denominations.

While it is clear that the idea of Christ's followers coming out is found in the Biblical text, it is only mentioned after repentance,[13] confession,[14] seeking the kingdom, His righteousness[15] and, of course, doing the will of the Father who art in heaven.[16]

I knew a gentlemen who paid his taxes and ran his own business, but refused to apply for social security benefits when he became 65. He said he did not need it, and those funds should only go to people who were dependent upon them. He was actually waiving his right to collect a check.

I know others who insist upon applying for those funds even though they may not need them, with the excuse that they paid in. Of course, all the money they paid in was gone long ago, and the system is actually dependent on borrowing from the future of your children.

Others will claim they do not have to pay in because they waived the rights to collect benefits. This might have been a plausible argument before the system went into debt. As soon as you enter the work force using that SSN, it is assumed that you intend to abide by all the terms of the Social Security scheme. It is kind of like joining the army. You do not just get to leave when you do not like what your sergeant is demanding of you.

We all should be able to comprehend that "He who receives the advantage ought also to suffer the burden."[17] And though we often receive the advantage at a tender age where there is no choice, still, we do receive the advantage. The real problem, not easily overcome, is debt, because "The rights of creditors can neither be taken away nor diminished by agreements among the debtors." [18]

This was true even in the Revolutionary war. So even though "All persons shall have liberty to renounce those privileges which have been conferred for their benefit," [19] they cannot waive the debt and rob the creditor. That would not be righteous. This is why the Israelites could not just leave Egypt, though their bondage began before they were born.

God had a clever plan that would not only prepare the people for liberty, but allow them to leave wealthy.[20] It might seem difficult to calculate why the Israelites found such favor from the Egyptians but they did.[21]

The truth is the Israelites were not only prepared for the disasters that were coming but they were often able to help the people of Egypt. While the Pharaoh's emergency management agency was failing to meet the challenge of these disasters, the Israelites stepped up to the plate, having advanced warning from Moses and the wisdom of the ancient networking schemes found in free societies.

So, even today, it may be true that "Waivers of Constitutional rights not only must be voluntary, but must be knowing, intelligent acts done with sufficient awareness of the relevant circumstances and likely consequences," [22] there are other considerations to reckon with if we want to be free in Christ or even Moses. They were both certainly in agreement but understanding what they were doing is often invisible in many modern exegesis.

We also know that "Agreements founded upon an immoral consideration are not to be observed," [23] and it is immoral for us to covet our neighbors' house or anything of our neighbors. Governments are often the truly immoral party to the social schemes because they give everything away which they receive and borrow against the future of our children to give us more. That is the Covetous Practices we were warned against which would curse our children and make us and them Merchandise.

There are countless schemes and questionable legal reasoning that men and women use to justify not paying into the Welfare system of the World in which they were born. They think they can change their name, claim they are born again, or claim that Christ set them free from their debt obligations.

Nothing can be farther from the truth. Christ even says we must pay our debts, make our yeses, yes, and, of course, honor our Fathers. The first Christians were citizens of Judea. At that time, you could sign up for any system of Corban recognized by Rome. Christ was at first recognized by Rome, which even defended the Apostles and Christians.

While the Corban of the Pharisees and the Qorban offered through the Temples of Rome required that you register, often at birth or at Baptism, however the Corban of Christ operated much differently.

Jesus instructs the ministers of His kingdom very clearly when he appoints them to an office of service.

  • Luke 22:25,29 "And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;"[24]

Jesus was clearly appointing these men to practice Pure Religion, feed His sheep, and attend to the Daily Ministration of his government. They were to care for the needy with freewill offerings because they were the titular leaders who could not exercise authority one over the other. They were not to be like the governments of the World.

There are still services and taxes in the kingdom, but the individual has the liberty to choose what his tax bill will be. Jesus has numerous parables and directives about forgiving debt. But the Rebel will only be concerned in getting out of debt and not paying anyone, nor care for the needy.[25]

We will know the true believer, not by what he says but what he does; defrauding Caesar is not only against Caesar, it is against God's plan and the way of Christ.

We have always been told to "Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course." Psalms 82:3

So anyone who claims to be of Christ needs to show the fruits that come from attending to these Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world of Rome nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on those fathers of the earth through force, fear and fealty who deliver the people back in bondage again like they were in Egypt. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ and have become workers of iniquity.

The Christian conflict with Rome in the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for their free bread but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens as He commanded.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.

Graven Idolatry

Many people imagine that they have accepted Christ and the Father, but in truth they have only accepted an image of the Father. We know this because they do not do the will of the Father or follow the directives of Christ.

Resenting what they often think is usurpation, they search for ways of becoming free from their personal obligations to the State where they were born and raised. They point the finger at those who seek control and choose to exercise authority one over the other.

In their desperation, people often follow what they think or imagine is the solution, or salvation, for the dilemma of the world to which they find themselves subject. The individuals who follow these erroneous legal arguments fail to step back and get the whole truth. They want to believe that everything they are willing to see as evil, is the product of others.

They even imagine that by simply filing some papers or making personal declarations, claims of sovereignty are a viable solution in themselves. They think they can free themselves by their own will, which is clearly not in accord with the precedent of Christ nor Moses.

Moses had a clear vision and a more detailed plan. He understood the contractual nature of their bondage and sought their liberation in righteousness. He knew that it would be foolish to set them free one scattered soul at a time, and so did Christ. They both knew that the people were ill-prepared for liberty; having been slaves for generations. Before Moses' Exodus and Christ's Pentecost, the people would have to repent and learn the way of the kingdom and the Perfect law of liberty.

When we see the quote in Matthew 6:24 "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." people may jump at the chance not to serve the Mammon of the World.

Mammon is entrusted wealth. Welfare systems often include entrusted wealth. There is a righteous way of accumulating that flow of wealth which is by Charity or Freewill offerings and there is an unrighteous way which uses force and compelling offerings. The unrighteous Mammon may be legal because of applications and agreements either you or your fathers made but it still is covetous in nature. It is not covetous when you pay in but only when you take out.

So refusing to pay into the unrighteous Mammon does not change you from unrighteous to righteous.

Christ even goes so far as to say in Luke 16:9 "And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations." because he knows that those who simply refuse pay into the welfare of society will not likely be willing to pay into a righteous system either.

Benefits of Bondage

Moses did get the people to stop taking the benefits of Pharaoh, but they still had to pay[27] the tale of bricks they owed, while they learned the ways of the Father. Watching movies and reading Bible stories give you the impression that all the Israelites were making bricks, and therefore gleaning straw,[28] but those were metaphors for paying the 20% tax on their labor;[29] which they had to pay from the time when they accepted the new deal of Pharaoh. The straw was the benefit of that contractual relationship.

Christ had been doing the same for his followers; who were to live by faith, hope and charity; and not the sword of Benefactors who exercised authority.

That original entering into the bondage of Egypt occurred hundreds of years before Moses, when they had to beg for the benefits of Pharaoh, and sold themselves into a system of statutory labor. They were still in bondage because of what their fathers did. This makes perfect sense, because we know the Kingdom of Heaven is from generation to generation.

Some people imagine that the birth certificate makes them human resources or merchandise, but it is simply one part of a record keeping system in a process of making the states the Fathers of the people.

What makes you Merchandise is not Birth registration, but covetousness.[30] Your natural fathers were warned in the Bible that through Covetous Practices they would curse their children.[31] That is where you come in. Many were born in bondage, surety for endless debt.

So how do we seek the liberty where Christ has set us free?
How do we seek His Kingdom of righteousness?
How do we love one another as He loved us?

First, we must recognize that much of what we are taught is simply not true.

  • Galatians 2:4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

The idea that we can covet our neighbor's goods to obtain benefits, if we do it through a government, is patently foolish. Taxing your neighbor's house so that you can have free education is against the commandments of God.[32]

Paul was clear that we were not to covet.[33]

Christ was clear about what defiled a man, [34] and he warns us how dangerous it is.[35]

And those who covet will not inherit the kingdom.[36]

The truth is, the kingdom was already there in Judea, and Jesus was going to take it from the Pharisees [37] and appoint it to His little flock,[38] which he did.[39]

The idea that people become more and more subject to rulers because they covetously apply for benefits, is a common theme of history and the Bible. It was taking the Benefits of Pharaoh that bound the Israelites for generations.

Learning to organize yourselves and take care of one another in love was a major part of the process that took place during the famines in Egypt and the trials of the early Church. It is not easy being free. It is not for the Slothful or selfish.

Christians were not rebelling against Caesar; but conforming to Christ.

  • Acts 17:7 Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, [one] Jesus.

They no longer depended on the Daily bread of the government of Caesar or Herod, but upon the Daily ministration of Christ's Holy Church. What Christ did was appoint a system of private Pure Religion funded by faith, hope and charity.

Simply coming out of the systems of the world, without learning to love one another in real ways like the early Church did, is both fruitless and contrary to the decrees of Christ.

The early Church, like ancient Israel, set up Altars made of living stones to care for the needs of the people. The union and discipline of real Christians in the daily practice of Pure Religion, was both feared and respected.

Neither Jesus, nor Moses, set the people free one at a time. Neither of them said 'just run for it.' Both of them said 'love your neighbor as yourself.' Both of them taught the people how to come together and care for one another in Pure Religion.

Both Moses and Jesus got the people kicked out [40] because they repented; and not only stopped coveting and applying to Benefactors who exercised authority, but began to organize themselves in a way so that they could care for one another and attend to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

The Benefit of Love

What really set Christians free was their conformity to Christ. They came together to serve one another in accordance with the righteous ways of Christ and Moses. Thousands of Jews accepted Jesus as the highest son of David and the rightful king of Judea. His appointed kingdom, and the 120 well trained ministers of Christ, immediately allowed the people to organize themselves into the ancient pattern of 10s, 100s, and l000s. They were cast out of the Welfare system of Corban that had been organized by Herod and the Pharisees. That civic table of welfare had been a trap.[42]

They gathered once a week, not to have their ears tickled, but to serve one another. The elders of every family gathered after their day of rest "And those who have among us help the needy; and we always keep together; and for all things wherewith we are supplied, we bless the Maker of all through His Son Jesus Christ, and through the Holy Ghost."[43]

Each family elder tithed to their minister, who was the titular president of their government, what was needed; not only for the Daily ministration of that congregation, but for all other free assemblies in a vast network of faith. Justin Martyr (ca. 100-ca. 165) wrote, "They do well to give what each thinks fit, and what is collected is deposited with the president, who succors the orphans and widows and those who through sickness or any other cause are in want…" [44] Without this giving, there was no worship.

To Christians, words had different meanings:

  • Believe meant 'I love' rather than accept an idea
  • Creed meant 'I engage'
  • Religion is not about what you think about God, but what you do... the performance of your duty to God and your fellow man..
  • To “understand” doctrines meant 'to put them into action'.
  • 'Faith' was the probity of our actions as Christians.

The ordained ministers of Christ conformed to his decrees; and men like Joses surrendered their property holding all things in common with their fellow ministers in a networking brotherhood. The congregants on the jubilee of Christ were returned to their families and to their possessions.[45]

Only by Freewill offerings would the benefit of His government be provided. But still, in Acts 6 we see the Daily ministration was neglected; so they elected Seven Men of good report as they had done earlier times when they were still a free people.

Freedom is not free, and the slothful in service do not come like Christ, nor in His name. Those who truly accept Christ in their hearts and in their minds cannot be kept from the service of Christ to one another. They are drawn toward the sacrifice of Fervent Charity through the natural love of one another.

As a vast free government network, they provided for people all over the Roman Empire in time of need. We see Barnabas and Saul carrying free government relief to the people in time of disaster.[46].

When 14,000 families of Jewish Christians were exiled from Rome by Claudius, where did they go, and who received them, if they were not well organized in a loving network?

When three thousand Christians perished in the persecutions of Nero, we see the nieces of Paul gather their bodies and wash them and bury them beneath in the oldest Christian building. They could only do this because rich and poor worked together in service and love.

When thousands of Christian Judeans left the walls of Jerusalem, as Titus and his troops surrounded it, they left everything behind. They did not even go back for their coats. Where did they go? They went to the people who gathered in a network according to the name or character of Christ. Those people were not bound by contracts and rulers but bound together as a nation within nations by love where hope in the charitable ways of Christ was their treasure and their blessing was in honoring their faith in Christ by serving one another.

Real Christians are compelled by that love of Christ to tend to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

Their focus is not to throw off the bondage of the World, but to serve and save others. Real Christians brought forth fruits worthy of repentance.[48] They did not boast of their liberty. By their new nature they walked worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work.[49]

If you are not doing what the early Church did, then you should question your faith.

If you are not automatically gathering together to produce the fruits of repentance, then you should question the depths of your faith.

If faith without works is dead, then faith with little works of righteousness and love is in need of repentance. So how do you do that?

Is that love just a feeling?

Do you want to do that?


Missing the plan

Someone seeing a problem with the world is trying to sort out what should be done but his letters show a missing element in his view.

He wrote "The character of Christ and Moses is not to "force" benefits on others (it applies to everybody in some form or another). "

But the Character of Caesar and pharaoh is force. They actually force the contribution of the people but as their Benefactors. This has been a problem at least since Saul:

  • 1 Samuel 13:13 And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

What did Saul do?

He forced an offering.

So do we overcome the sin by rebellion against Saul?

And what is the sin?

Go back to 1 Samuel 8 and you will find the rejection of God by the people when they looked to government to force their neighbor to do what they ought to freely do.

God warns them as long as the chose to do that He would not hear them nor their cries.

  • 1 Samuel 8:18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.

So not taking benefits at the expense of your neighbor is a good start but it falls short of the problem that began with our rejection of God if we have been doing this for generations and created debt and besides paying in has nothing to do with the sin.

So what is the solution?

It was not what Israel did when they just left their government and went off as we see the Bible saying in 1 Kings 12:16

  • So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither [have we] inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.

This leads to division and destruction.

Now the modern government of the World has done, with its hard heart, what we saw Rehoboam say and do.

  • 1 Kings 12:14 And spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father [also] chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.

This is no different than what we saw in Egypt with the Pharaoh who would not let the people go. So again what is the solution?

So the question would be were you made a surety for debt by your Father? Did you sign up with the Corban of the State? Did you use their benefit ID, Did you take an oath to uphold their constitution?

If so then you have the answer to the original question about what connects us to the constitution.

If Christ want you to make your yes yes then he wants you to makes your oaths true and the vows of your fathers paid.

He wrote "If one waives the benefit, no one here nor there has the ability to then try to apply 'it' especially with regards to the subject matter whether one believes it applies or not."

This is not true at all which we covered above. Waiving a right to a benefit is only one step in a process.

We see that with Moses with his tale of bricks and with Jesus with his "give to Caesar" and with Paul and his 1 Corinthians 7:21 "Art thou called [being] a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use [it] rather."

None of them suggested you just waive your rights to benefits and go.

Just because you say "I am still not talking about debt or "freeing oneself" in this particular" does not alter the fact you need to to address the whole situation including the debt to find a righteous conclusion.

It is not honest in our approach to take facts or elements off the table because they are inconvenient. It leads people to go in circles rather than come to a conclusion. The debt is what makes their Welfare a snare and a trap. It makes you a surety. It makes you Merchandise That is what entangles you in the yolk of Bondage‎

He write "Somehow waiving benefits because of convictions is the equivalent to a rebel?"

The only reason you could imagine I am saying that is that you are not looking at the debt, surety, power of the creditor, that makes you Merchandise and entangles you in the yolk of Bondage‎.

Because many are "not talking about debt" they began avoiding that which is the power that entangles.

Once people avoid the whole truth then they feel free to say things like "If I am a rebel because we waive benefits and teach our children so and have faith that my Father will provide for us then so be it."

The rebellion took place when your fathers began the covetous practices that made them Merchandise and Curse children. We are all those children cursed with debt.

So if there is debt and there is Bondage‎ it would seem easy to grasp the strategies of Moses and Christ and start there. We may waive the right to the benefit but we must also become the servants and benefactors of society who do not exercise authority if we are going to seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

There are many who will say I am out because I say or because I waived my right to the benefits. But going about without doing the work and service of the early Church is squandering the oil of your life. The foolish virgins did this and is clear what the master thought of that slothful approach.[50]

In the Free Church Report we show those who want to truly dedicate themselves as servants in their Fathers house what they must do to leave their master and serve their Father.

That what we teach for the ministry is the requirements of Christ clearly stated. It is what the returning son did when he chose to return to his Fathers house as a servant.

The whole cause of the present and future dilemma and state of the world and nations is that we have rejected God. We stopped gathering and caring for one another and attending to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world of Rome nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on those fathers of the earth through force, fear and fealty who deliver the people back in bondage again like they were in Egypt. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ and have become workers of iniquity.

The Christian conflict with Rome in the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for their free bread but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens as He commanded.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.

Christ had a plan. It has always been the same. He said love your enemies. He did not say stop paying what you owe. We are even told to take wrong? ... suffer yourselves to be defrauded? .

He did say be friends with the unrighteous Mammon so that which would make you suitable for more righteous habitation.

Are you ready to serve God? It is hard work.

The rich man wanted to give up half but Christ said he had to give up all and follow him. Most think that is to much and maybe it is not for those of little faith.

Then Christ offered to go to the Roman centurion's house to heal his servant because we love all.

To serve God is a lot more than most people want. There is no sitting on the porch while others work.

But Christ talks about not opening doors, saying get ye from me ye workers of iniquity. He warns us and the apostles warned us....

It is a job and it is risky and it is demanding and requires real commitment and thankless by most from what I have scene and Jesus too..

There are many ideas of Church and kingdom but I try to make it clear what I see and what it looks like and quote the Bible and history and common sense enough to verify the truth of What Christ told the people to do. The only circular logic is due to the fact that people will not admit or do not want to admit the whole truth that they are snared, entangled again in Bondage‎ just like the Bible said and it is at least partly their fault and there is a price to pay to win His Grace. We have to repent and turn around and do what His disciples did.

We know Behold, "I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Matthew 10:16

Matthew 25:1 ¶ Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. 11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

    Luke 22:25-26 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
