Summary of Nahum Chapter 2

Something has come that divides and scatters the people[1] which was seen in the story of Nimrod and Babylon.[2] We are warned to watch the way and strengthen our loins.[3] This is done by living by the ways of love, charity, and hope., not force, fear, and fealty under Assyrian contracts which ruins[4] and empties[5] the fruit of vine.[6]

They cast their wealth away[7] and the lion's heart disappeared from their society. And God will not hear them because they will not hear the cries of one another so that the "the sword shall devour thy young lions".[8]

Without Repentance and a return to a daily ministration of Pure Religion through charity and the perfect law of liberty the people will be devoured and ruined.
