Chapter 3

Study
In verse 2 Paul list three things to "Beware of":
  1. dogs (metaphor: an offensively bold or disrespectful; insolent or impertinent. man)
  2. evil workers (Those who work at making trouble and are injurious, and destructive,)
  3. concision ( people who divide the congregation within or from other congregations of the whole Church)
We see Paul use this literary method of listing three things to describe one idea in Ephesians 5
This is one of many warnings we see Paul and the Apostles write to us about.
This would be like those who "debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God" mentioned at the end of Romans 1 and in Proverbs 16:28 "A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends."
