- Exodus 12: "19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land. 20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread." (Dainties of tables which are a snare)

- Deuteronomy 12:19 "Take heed to thyself that thou forsake not the Levite as long as thou livest upon the earth... 23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood: for the blood [is] the life; and thou mayest not eat the life with the flesh."
- Jesus said in Luke 6:46 "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?"
- Luke 9:14,15 "For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company. And they did so, and made them all sit down."
- Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. 26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"
