Christian
Christian is defined of, relating to, or professing Christianity or its teachings.
But Christianity (from the Ancient Greek word Χριστός, Christos, a translation of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ, Māšîăḥ, meaning "the anointed one", together with the Latin suffixes -ian and -itas) is an Abrahamic, monotheistic religion based on the life and oral teachings of Jesus of Nazareth and considered as it is presented in the New Testament.
Therefore aChristian is informally defined as having or showing qualities associated with Christ, especially those of forgiveness, Charity, service, sacrifice, decency, kindness, and fairness.
- A Christian is a person who has repented and received Christian baptism or is a believer in Jesus Christ to the point of following Jesus Christ and his true teachings.
