Overcoming together
The gospel of the kingdom called us to seek the kingdom of heaven and the righteousness of God.
The righteousness of God requires that you love God enough to let the light and life of Christ into your hearts and and his truth into your minds so that the love of Christ and His way becomes your way which means you will love your neighbor as your self even if he does not love you.
There are prophets of the beast nature of man who tell you that it is okay to bite one another, to covet one another's good and that you can even be slothful in the ways of God because you do not have to be a doer of the word which is work but a believer only. A believer is not just someone who thinks something to be true. A believer is someone who knows something so deep in his soul that that belief or faith compels his actions. Therefore some one who believe will manifest works worthy of repentance.
Israel and the early church naturally formed a network of people who sacrificed daily to care not only for the survival of themselves but the survival of all other believers.
Believers had faith in the Spirit of Christ and in Jesus as the living son of the Creator of heaven and earth, our Father who art in heaven...
The non believer believes in other spirits like the spirit of force, the spirit of pride and envy, the spirit of selfishness, the spirit of contention...
- Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
None of us our righteous but we should know that " ... we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith." Galatians 5:5
It is not faith through study but " faith which worketh by love" we seek and that love should be for one another as Christ loved us.
If Christ came as one who serveth then
Galatians 5:13 "For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. "
We know that we are warned
Galatians 5:15 "But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another." This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."
Galatians 6:1 "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For every man shall bear his own burden. 6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
The word "faint" is ekluo to loose, or to dissolve and is a metaphor meaning to weaken,
Christ said seek, strive, persevere, put your hand to the plow and do not look back.
Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Can you say you love one another?
There is a quote that pops up in a number of government and survival documents which states " the result could be a significant drop in the human carrying capacity of the Earth's environment. "
Where is your works worthy of repentance?
Where can I see your love for one another if you forsake the gathering of one another?
If you gather locally that may be a beginning but do you gather as a nation and a kingdom?
I am looking for those who have faith in the Gospel of the kingdom appointed by Christ.
I am looking for those who love one another and show the "fruit of the Spirit".
If you are not gathering to serve and sacrifice as Christ did both locally and nationally then I cannot say that I see the fruit of the Spirit.
Everyone needs to form congregations with those near or far. Those ministers they choose need to choose ministers that are seeking to conform at this time to the criteria of Christ.
