Democratic socialism

Democratic socialism is just socialism with some voting choice as to ruler. There may be a slower decline of liberty and the inevitable degeneration of the masses. Adding the word democratic to socialism is merely an act of vanity to disguise the covetous nature of that form of government. You cannot justify the desire to take from your neighbor to derive a personal gain nor claim to be seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.

To claim or fain ignorance is a false hope for any form of socialism that relies upon force, whether the rulers are one or many, is covetous. And all should know that "covetousness is idolatry".[1]

The tables and temples of the pagan were dependent upon the exercising authority[2] of civil law the benefits and dainties served upon them are only the bait provided in what has always been a snare and a trap for those with an appetite to take a bite[3] out of others.

All democracies have always failed for the same reasons, the nurturing of the greed and wantonness of the masses for which the Kingdom of God was preached as the antitheses.

The events of our times are not unique in the history of mankind.

We are presently engaged in a war of truth and lies, good and evil, of light and darkness,[4] and of good and evil.[5]

If you think the issue of men in woman's sports is about the gender agenda of the left you are being played and are ignorant of the history and destruction of liberty throughout the past.

They want you think that more laws is a solution as if more laws and more government is your salvation. Yet, we should know from history:

"The more numerous the laws, the more corrupt the government." Tacitus ,Book III, 27.

Desiring a collective law to protect an individual's right is a doorway to a strong delusion. Chains make poor armor.

"And now bills were passed, not only for national objects but for individual cases, and laws were most numerous when the commonwealth was most corrupt." Tacitus

More laws are more tools for the tyranny of the courts where black robed men decide what is 'good and evil' for the masses.

"When men [women] of talents are punished, authority is strengthened." Tacitus, Book IV, 35.

We are engaged in a war of truth and lies, of light and darkness, and of good and evil. There is no safety in making more laws in the halls of government.

Publius Tacitus saw that "A bad peace is even worse than war."

Never try to make peace by apologizing to the cancel culture mob.

"The desire for safety stands against every great and noble enterprise."

There is only hope in repentance from the common thinking that has crept in unawares and returning to embrace the mind of Christ.

If you want to be on the winning side of this battle you need to know where the battle line is formed.

There is no safety in democracy when the mob has the heart of a tyrant.

The people "in their hearts turned back again into Egypt." Acts: 7. 39

The heart of Christ dwelling in the truly faithful does not desire benefits at the expense of their neighbor.

A true believer in the Gospel of the kingdom does not covet the wages of unrighteousness nor the daily bread of the rulers of men.

Polybius explained there is no safety in democratic socialism when, "The masses continue with an appetite for benefits and the habit of receiving them by way of a rule of force..." which certainly began with public education provided by tax dollar which at one time was abhorrent to American voters.

The New Deal of FDR allowed the spirit of democratic socialism to grow in the people until they become "accustomed to feed at the expense of others and to depend for their livelihood on the property of others..."

Now politicians pandering to the palpable greed and avarice of the people are "uniting their forces massacre, banish, and plunder, until they degenerate again into perfect savages and find once more a master and monarch."

The liberty in America rested not upon the power of government but upon the responcibility carried on the shoulders of every man and shared through voluntarism. Benjamin Franklin and Tacitus knew that "The desire for safety stands against every great and noble enterprise."

The hope of liberty among such people is repentance. They must think differntly from the socialist who crept in unawares, "ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness." http://preparingyou.com/wiki/Lasciviousness

If you want to be on the winning side of the battle between good and evil you need to know where the battle line is formed.

The Roman historian Tacitus also wrote of the Crucifixion of 'Christus' and his execution by Pontius Pilate in his Annals (written ca. AD 116, book 15, chapter 44.)

Tacitus's description of Christian practices, while negative from his point of view was very telling if you understood the view point of Romans at that time. Once you understand what Christians were doing in that first century you should be willing to see that their practice of religion does not match the modern Christian Church.

Tacitus wrote in his works, “The communities are wont, of their own accord and man by man, to bestow upon their princes a certain number of beasts, or a certain portion of grain; a contribution which passes indeed for a mark of reverence and honour, but serves also to supply their necessities.”[6]

The words "of their own accord" in the text is from the Latin "ultro" meaning 'voluntarily'. Christian provided all social welfare for the Christian communities through voluntarism or we would call charity alone and the perfect law of liberty. Rome had instituted a form of social welfare through public Religion which like the Corban of the Pharisees made the word of God to none effect.

Early Israel as a republic provided a system of welfare through their altars of clay and stone through a similar system of freewill offerings. John the Baptist and Jesus directed the people back to charity and Paul and Peter warned that covetous practices would bar some from inheriting the kingdom and even make them merchandise as well as curse children.

The world of Rome began as a republic but as the Roman people were ruined[7] by their appetite for benefits offered by men who exercise authority through the Imperial Cult of Rome until they degenerated into perfect savages as predicted by Polybius.

The stark difference between the covetous practices through the legal charity of the public religion of Rome and the charity and love of Christians living by faith, hope and charity was the Christian conflict with Rome.

Christ and the apostles were adamant that His followers should not engage in the 'covetous practices' of the 'world' at that time by looking to the governments of the world who "exercise authority one over the other" to provide benefits, at the expense of their neighbor through those covetous practices condemned by Christ.

Socialism is all about providing benefiting at the expense of others through the force of government. You cannot be a socialist, vote for socialist programs, desire benefits at the expense of others and honestly claim to be following Christ. Early Christians would not engage in those systems where force was used to provide social welfare.

  1. Covetousness is idolatry
Colossians 3:5 "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:"
Ephesians 5:5 "For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God."
1 Corinthians 5:10 "Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat."
  2. Not exercise authority
Matthew 20:25 "But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you:..."
Mark 10:42 "But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you:..."
Luke 22:25 "And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye [shall] not [be] so:..."
  3. Bite not
Ecclesiastes 4:5 "The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh."
Proverbs 6:10 "[Yet] a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: 11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man."
Proverbs 20:4 "The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; [therefore] shall he beg in harvest, and [have] nothing."
Proverbs 24:33 "[Yet] a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: 34 So shall thy poverty come [as] one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man."
Proverbs 11:17 "The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but [he that is] cruel troubleth his own flesh."
Isaiah 9:20 "And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:"
Isaiah 9:20 "And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:"
Ezekiel 11:3 "Which say, [It is] not near; let us build houses: this [city is] the caldron, and we [be] the flesh... 11 This [city] shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; [but] I will judge you in the border of Israel:"
Micah 3:3 "Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron."
Galatians 5:14 "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another."
2 Corinthians 11:20 "For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour [you], if a man take [of you], if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face."
The ultimate bondage is to hate your neighbor through the error of Balaam because we fail to forgive which is the consuming fire of Exodus 33 and the Raca of Matthew 5 that brings the judgement and wrath of God.
  4. Eyes darkened
Psalms 69:22 "Let their table become a snare before them: and that which should have been for their welfare, let it become a trap. 23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake."
Psalms 107:10 "Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, [being] bound in affliction and iron;"
Isaiah 9:2 "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined."
Isaiah 42:7 "To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, [and] them that sit in darkness out of the prison house."
Isaiah 42:16 "And I will bring the blind by a way [that] they knew not; I will lead them in paths [that] they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them."
Isaiah 49:6 "And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth."
Ecclesiastes 2:14 "The wise man’s eyes [are] in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all."
Micah 7:8 "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD [shall be] a light unto me."
Matthew 4:16 “‭The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.”
Luke 1:79 "To give light to them that sit in darkness and [in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."
John 1:9 [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Romans 11:10 "Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway"
2 Corinthians 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”
Job 34:22 "There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves."
Matthew 6:23 “‭But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!”
1 John 2:10 "He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes."
John 3:19 "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." See Born again.
  5. Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, [even] those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
