Taskmaster

In Egypt under the Pharaoh 20% of your labor belonged to the government of Pharaoh as if you were employed and they called it the Bondage of Egypt. Were the taskmasters actually a form of slave masters on a corvee system?
All over the world today people pay much more of their labor to the government and call it freedom.
But because the people desired benefits from men who call themselves Benefactors we have returned to bondage. We were told to 'never return to the bondage of Egypt but people did under Herod and Rome, and in the United States under FDR. It was also called a corvee system of statutory labor or the bondage of Egypt. Jesus told us to think a different way and to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Are we in need of learning the lessons of Exodus?
This was because the corban of the Pharisees and Herod made the word of God to none effect because as covetous practices it mad men merchandise instead of setting the captive free.

Taskmaster

In Exodus 1:11 We see the MemSamech[1] or "forced service... enforced payment" as taskmasters[2] meaning afflict them with their burdens. The term, mas (מס) describes Pharaoh appointing “officers of the levy/labor (שרי מסים)” we see 23 times.[3] Samuel will tell Saul this not only is foolish but against the commandments.[4] But what appears in the text as missîm(מִסִּ֔ים) which appears nowhere else in the Bible in this form. It is accompanied by the term śārê(שָׂרֵ֣י)[2] and together they, śārê missîm(שרי מסים), produce taskmasters in verse 11.

This is also because of the context of the verse:

Exodus 1:11 "Therefore they did set over them taskmasters[1][2] to afflict[5] them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses."

These treasure cities became with these acts what the Bible will call the cities of blood because the people were literally merchandise in them. The city was the cauldron and the people were the flesh, the Human Resources who were back in the bondage of Egypt.

The normal or common word for taskmasters is nagas[6] more often translated oppressor.[7].

Appearance in the Bible

Other than Exodus 1:11 the Term taskmaster is translated from Nagas[6] which is also translated oppressor 7 times, taskmasters 5 times, exact 4 times, distressed, oppressed twice each, and driver, exactors', and taxes once each.
