One Accord
The phrase one accord is from the Greek adverb homothumadon [1] which is from a compound of homou [2] and thumos[3] which was said to mean they were "with one accord" or even "with one mind" which was the mind of Christ by The Way of the Holy Spirit.
So, Homothumadon is a compound of two words meaning to "rush along"[2] and "in unison"[3] but thumos is commonly translated wrath or fierceness and is from the verb thuo [4] meaning to sacrifice as a burnt offering.
"A unique Greek word, used 10 of its 12 New Testament occurrences in the Book of Acts, helps us understand the uniqueness of the Christian community. Homothumadon is a compound of two words meaning to "rush along" and "in unison". The image is almost musical; a number of notes are sounded which, while different, harmonise in pitch and tone. As the instruments of a great concert under the direction of a concert master, so the Holy Spirit blends together the lives of members of Christ’s church translated "with one accord"."[1]
Does the idea of "one accord" mean "rush along" and "in unison" or is it referring to personally sacrificing our own pride and ego and accepting another spirit, a Holy Spirit of Christ?
Christ preached the kingdom of God which sets the captive free and brings the people in an accord[5] as a true government of God and the righteousness of God.
Christ was willing to sacrificed himself for others rather than rule over them so that they might be saved by faith in God and The Way of righteousness?
Does the Modern Church do that or have they gone the ways of Herod and the Pharisees who sought the reward of unrighteousness and returned to the covetous practices that will make men merchandise and curse children?
For what purpose
It is a unique Greek word in the New Testament's Book of Acts which may help us understand the uniqueness of the Christian community and why it came into conflict with Rome and why many of the denominations of the Modern Church will hat the truth just as the Pharisees did.
If you still think that the Altars of Clay and stone were about piling up rocks and burning up sheep you might need to read the Sacrifice of Sophistry.
The early Church were assembled in one accord with their sacrifice. Of course that sacrifice was the Corban of Christ which creates the social bonds through love and charity by faith in The Way of Christ and His perfect law of liberty.
That free assembly of the people, for the people and, by the people[6] included an international network of ministers who acted as a Faith Emergency Ministry Auxiliary known as His Church who provided a daily ministration through the practice of Pure Religion.
The apostles came into "one accord" but the wicked people of the "world" could not do that with out instituting systems of welfare through men who exercised authority[7] one over the other making the word of God to none effect.
The important thing is to come into "one accord" with Christ and His doctrines and [[Holy Spirit][. Everyone who seeks the "wages of unrighteousness are in discord with Christ.

- Acts 1:14 These all continued with one accord <3661> in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
- Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord <3661> in one place.

- Acts 4:24 And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord <3661>, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
- Acts 5:12 And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord <3661> in Solomon’s porch.
- Acts 7:57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord <3661>,

- Acts 15:25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord <3661>, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

- Acts 19:29 And the whole city was filled with confusion: and having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul’s companions in travel, they rushed with one accord <3661> into the theatre.
- Romans 15:6 That ye may with one mind <3661> and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We also see the phrase one accord in: Philippians 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind.
But that is from the reek word sumpsuchos.[8] which is from two words "sun" meaning together with and "psuchos" meaning soul, self, inner life.
Repentance is a changing of the mind. It is mostly about being humble enough to admit you cannot know good from evil by merely eating of the tree of knowledge. You need to let God work upon your mind and allow him to change it for you.

- This word is made up of two words "sun" (together with) and psuchos (soul, self, inner life, or the seat of the feelings, desires, affections). So the word refers to being united in spirit or harmonious (A&G). Paul desired the Philippians to be united in their affections-one in Christ in all desires! Used only here in the NT. (Wayne Steury)
