What are they reading in Sweden?

Lev som om staten inte finns[1]

I first used Google translator.

Dan West

But then I contacted Daniel West and he supplied me with this translation.

I had already posted and done a readio broadcast on his article when I saw in his own profile he wrote that he is "searching for the kingdom of God within me."

As you read this article please consider before there was the state there was man. Man is endowed by his creator with certain inalienable rights and with those rights there are duties to perform for both God and our fellowman.

The state did not create the man, nor did the states endow man with rights.

Man created the state.

All the power of the state is given to the state by man. This power is granted to the state by man when he makes social compacts and applies to the Benefactors of the state for gifts, gratuities and benefits at the expense of others and his own liberty.

"Christianity in its true sense puts an end to the State." Tolstoy

Live as if the state does not exist

“If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal.” - Emma Goldman

There is something in that saying, isn't it?

So many generations have come and gone since the democratic experiment started and the only thing democracy has led to is more centralization of power and more moral decay in society.

So don't vote.

Don't debate.

Don't waste your energy on politics, because it only contributes to upholding the smoke and mirrors that the left-right political scale really is.

But, if you can't make a difference through politics what can you do to create a freer society?

Well, you can let your actions speak for themselves.

The trick is to live as if the state does not exist. (unfortunately I can't remember from whom I first heard this)

What does that mean?

It means to reduce and eliminate all dependency of the welfare state apparatus, by:

• Taking care of yourself and your beloved ones

• Solve your own problems within the family and the local community

• Make sure you can still put food on the table (or in your root cellar) even if you lose your job, for example by starting up your own garden and plant a couple of fruit trees.

• Follow your own moral codes instead of the (often) immoral codes of the state.

• Create your own alternative means of payment to replace the counterfeit fiat currency of the state.

• Trade services and favors with your neighbor instead of buying from others and thereby fueling the tax system. Prioritize local community instead of state sanctioned trade.

• Assume responsibility for your personal security in your home and in your community through common sense, neighborhood watches and local militias (also see the book The Production of Security by Gustave de Molinari)

• Lead the education of your children, no matter if they're stuck in a public school during the day or if you live in a country where homeschooling is legal (it's illegal in Sweden).

• Plan for your old age, avoid debt, don't expect any state pension, and make sure that you have productive and natural systems in place that can provide you and future generations with food and shelter.

• Make yourself independent of state-approved banks and central banks that enslave societies by first creating money out of thin air and then demanding interest on that monopoly money.

Yes, just as “Swedes” have lived for thousands of years (the term “Swedes” has only existed for a couple hundred years, and appeared when power was centralized in these lands)

Because when the state can no longer sustain itself on the life force of society and trade it will surely fall off as the leech it really is.

But now the fact is that many of us reading this live in Sweden, and under the Swedish regime it can be hard to live as if the state does not exist considering that they steal 70% of an average family's income in the form of taxes and exert a totalitarian control over society and above all over your children.

But... what would happen if more and more people in Sweden completely ignored the welfare state apparatus and started to solve their own problems within the family and the local community?

What would happen if people made themselves more and more independent from the state?

Because the state needs people to be dependent on it, it's not far fetched that it will fight with tooth and nail against the increased freedom that these people create.

And when it does, its violent nature will come out in broad daylight.

When the state kidnaps your children because you can give them a better education than the public school system that only manages to dumb them down...

When the state fights you because you refuse to admit its legitimacy or play along in its pyramid scheme called the welfare state...

When the state dies a slow death because Swedes no longer need it...

Then freedom is not far off.

Or what do you think?

Daniel West writes in English too

My Comment

This of course is what the Christians had to do when they chose to follow Christ at the exodus of Pentecost and proved vital at the fall of Jerusalem when Christians walked out past the armies of Titus with nothing.

Christians chose leaders in a network of tens, hundreds, and thousands at Pentecost like they had done in ancient times but those leaders were instrumental in facilitating the benefits of society as Benefactors without exercising authority one over the other as the other nations had been doing including Herod the Greats Judea.

Jesus did not allow that and in fact told his ministers the people were to have the right to choose what they would give.

We were not to be like the servant in Matthew 18:28 but the Steward in Luke 16:1

They were to be forgiving like the certain creditor of Luke 7:41.

Christ preached a government with a moral code of love and sacrifice for the sake of righteousness. It had no flag, no forced taxes, no leaders who exercised authority but its union and disciple was praised by historians who called it a viable republic in the heart of the Roman Empire.

Christ was the beloved Anarchist.

How did it operate and function?

How did they survive the decline and fall of the Roman Empire?

History does repeat itself and America is walking in the ways of Rome and sealing its faith with the whole world doing the same.

What were they doing that was so different from the Modern Christians?

They have forgotten or been deceived about the true meaning of religion

This is what we are trying to show and share with people in books like Thy Kingdom Comes and at out websites like HisHolyChurch.org.

Extremely good text . I agree with every word ...

The point in question mentions the Swedes " for thousands of years ."

Why does it bother you " very much" that the author does not like the government propaganda ( in which literature represents stenålderskranier as " Old Swedish ", etc. ) claim that national formation existed for several millenniers time ?

Maybe I should have developed why I quoted the "Swedes" .

It's like Michael and Throat No one says, I know that terms like "Swedes ", " Danes " , and so on has been and still is more a state tool for propaganda and control than it is something that has come from the bottom up .

See just how politicians today adapts "Swedishness " to suit their own agenda , eg immigration debate. Still a propaganda tool .

I am not versed in the history of Sweden in detail, but I can guess that "Swedes" as term arose after Gustav Vasa centralized power in Sweden in the 1500s . For thousands of years before the first " Swede " existed as our ancestors lived in these parts , so one can only wonder what they were .

I am a local patriot soul and believe you can be proud of its närbygd , its origins and the " Swedish " culture, but that indeed identify with the Swedish flag , the king or the state.

Dick Harrison writes, for instance in his rich book about the 1200s when the Swedish government , according to him was born " earl century " on page 687 :

"In 1100 , Sweden was not a kingdom . Not in the way a contemporary Swedish instinctively imagines a realm , that is, as a reasonably coherent territorial unit under joint management . Most people who lived here probably did not think they were Swedes. They were Geats , närkingar , Virds , hälsingar , Gotlanders or otherwise. Not Swedes. " Sweden " , as we know the state, had not been invented . "

It is a very good idea that is well worth exploring further !

Harry Browne writes of a similar strategy for living " without " State of How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World ( a right basic book ) . It is also a fundamental principle of mutualism and agorister (particularly through the counter economics ) to " build the institutions of a free society from within the old ." And I wrote about something similar at Strike the Root 2005 : Saving the World Through Saving Yourself .

Thanks for the introduction of some new concepts. Counter Economics , I am somewhat familiar with but agorism and mutualism was new to me.

What you wrote on Strike the Root was great. Henry David Thoreau was not stupid :

"There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root. "

Speaking of which , you wrote : I'll be honest , I often find myself thinking that I'm going to liberate the world from evil, but also realize that I probably could spend every waking hour of my life on it without success , just to realize on his deathbed that I forgot about my own freedom and to live while I had the chance.

So to rid myself and family is priority one . Then comes the friends and neighbors and the local community. And do you get so far, I think the rest will take care of itself , for freedom has a tendency to draw people to him .

Thumb up 6

per Bylund

Exactly! And the reason for that at all committed to freedom is hardly that you want the future to have a statue of one - the reason is that you want to BE free . So why waste time trying to liberate millions when it probably is not possible - and those you work to rid do not like it or even work against you . There is no rhyme or reason to argue this . But we are so schooled in collectivism that we automatically think so - even as hyper- individualists. It's hard to do away with feltänk that you have learned a lifetime and like everyone else maintains tooth and nail ...

Thumb up 2

Patrick Sellman

It's an exhilarating article you've written and inspiring. The very fact that we are so indoctrinated into collective thinking begets easy desolation . How will humanity ever be able to step out of bondage and oppression ? To then hold on to freedom for those who want it are much more hopeful .

We are freedom lovers have all been amazed over the aggressive resistance we encounter when we advocate non- violence and freedom. Two such obvious things that people fought for the ages. It's easy to find them oemotsägbara .

Trälmentaliteten is inhamrad in the population. Only I have food on the table , roof over my head and at least a hope that someone will help me if I get into trouble so defended it tooth and nail . Independence and freedom are sacrificed as easy as pie to avoid taking responsibility over their own lives .

Now that we are still early in the year can you give some thought to that you work until October to the state , just over seven months to go. Fight on , piece together ! The next term is the powers agreed to trälperioden be extended. The question is rather how much?

The strategy chosen by some to push the issue of voluntary withdrawal from the state might not be so stupid. Freedom must also include the freedom to escape freedom. Let the thralls be slaves if they want.

Thumb up 4

Bo Wennström

Slaves do not even know that they are in bondage and need someone who tells them what they want. Freedom and absolute freedom from disease none of us knows how it is, we have not experienced it yet .

PerKQ

A good text . With the internet it is easier than ever to get in touch with many people who are willing to perform while visiting and gentjänser free or at a low cost. An example is : http://jak.se/

I could see for myself that you registered on a site and then performed the services among themselves for a tenth of services for unregistered users .

It is not illegal to sell a service extremely cheap. The advantage is that the state then receives 1/10 part of a vanlgit transaction. It means that you have a tax rate of about 7% within the system.

Big visions of a future economic system that creates justice and be free from slavery. http://www.varldsbild.se/images/newsletter/newsJAN2014_deus-ex-machina.html

The world's monetary systems and economies in danger of collapse because only a few percent of all the money that is matched by real output . The rest is speculation. This book is about a new economic system called tidfaktorekonomi ( Tfe ) . Tfe means that a new value base is introduced into the economy, due to the time factor . Only when society's core values is no longer based on subjective arbitrariness can we avoid social injustice and chaos.

And leisure is underrated :)

Thumb up 1

Goran

We can see leisure as follows more or less is taken from reality.

In the housing association where I live , we have a contractor who cleans the stairwell. It costs each condominium member about 1,000 per year. Thus we may say that every member needs to work a day at work to fund the cleaning.

The alternative to this is that at one point a year performing each individual member is a cleaning of the stairs on their own , which takes about an hour.

A member would in other words be able to take time off work for a whole day and devote one hour of the day to clean up the stairwell and then be able to devote the rest day for something fun . In other words, acquired some leisure time .

However , people think it's better to work 8 hours extra each year to avoid having to 7 hours of extra leisure time.

Bo Wennström

Absolute freedom can not be experienced by those who are not gifted with being in the " NEXT LOVE PERMANENTLY " - CAN NOT PULL LOOSE PIECES TYPE FREEDOM FROM WHOLE ORDER THAT FREEDOM TO EXIST

Michael

Fine text , well written and with a beautiful vision . It puts good thoughts in mind. I think it's difficult to get others that have not already been thinking for a while , but there are a lot of flows that do not come from economics perspective and having draig similar conclusions.

I work in a place where money has bought most souls . But I'm thinking bilbränderna last spring. They stopped when it became weekend and a number of (presumably working ) guys got together and .. well .. put the state's monopoly of violence aside for a while. So there's some life left .

On the " Swedes" then perhaps, Daniel answer that but I can imagine it has to do with the Swedes that concept is linked to the state as a concept. You do not say Osmo : live or block pine : live or the like which may may have done before the creation of the State of Sweden .

Interesting thoughts. The problem is that when the state runs back entry clan society forward . The question is which one is preferable ...

What do you mean by clan society? Is it then something resembling panarki you mean ?

To each the government or non -governmental society he or she chooses ! - John Zube

http://www.mises.se/2010/09/25/panarkistiska-strategier/

The various " clans " within the territorial panarkin can not reasonably be viewed as anything but various derivatives to a completely libertarian market (where each association fully respects each individual's negative rights (including negative association ) .

Snow, ice and steam can not exist without water - it is derivative to water - the reverse is not possible.
