Summary of Habakkuk chapter 3
A prayer of Habakkuk is that he heard the LORD. And saw a brightness in the heavens with the authority of horns. Before that there was a pestilence, but also burning coals from his feet which effected the whole earth and the nations and people were scattered. But there were the horses[1] of salvation[2] and thy chariots[3] of salvation[4] that ran through these waves.
In the cause and effect of creation the earth is divided because oaths and the house of the wicked who devour the poor secretly.
The prayer is that I might rest in the day of trouble when there is no fruit and no meat so that I will rejoice in the LORD for the LORD God is my strength if I will sing the Song of the Lamb.
