Someone asked:

"I'm curious about the month of Adar.. you mention it again and again"
Hebrew version of a calendar
Hebrew version of a calendar

People think because the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem (which had no king since Herod died almost 25 years earlier) would have been in the first month of one of the Hebrew calendars (Abib also called Nisan) which would have been in the spring that the overturning of the money-changers tables happened then and not in the spring which is when the month of Adar takes place.

Jesus was busy running the government from Abid to Adar. He was instructing the ministers of the royal treasury and overseeing the contributions in to it by the people. Jerusalem was the seat of government and he sat upon its throne but it was not the governments of the world. It was called the Kingdom of God.

Christ means anointed and anointed means Messiah and Messiah means the king because the kings of Israel and Judah were anointed. Jesus was a king recognized by other governments outside the Roman Empire at his birth. He came from a wealthy prominent family. Rome recognized him as king with an official order from Pilot. He appointed that kingdom to certain qualified men. Thousands recognized His kingdom and opted out of one system and into another at Pentecost.

The only ones who do not know he was a real king is Modern Christians and other Pharisee types.

It was a different kind of kingdom that did not depend on force but love honor and charity. It depended upon the grace and forgiveness, charity and sacrifice of people who came together and let the character and spirit of Christ into their hearts and minds and then strive and persevered in their search for the kingdom of God and his righteousness.

The month of Adar is correlative to our April.

On the 15th of Adar/April the tax men went out to collect the tax.

This was when the moneychangers were fired by King Jesus. That is right King Jesus. But he could not appoint new ones they had to be elected through the choice of the people from the ground out in a Network of charity.

Originally the contribution to be collected from the people on Adar 15 was only a token half Shekel and the rest of the funds to support the government were Freewill offerings. That was because the kingdom of God operated on the bases of the Perfect law of liberty.

The statutory annual half-shekel was a tiny amount but it let your minister know that you were still in the game and apart of His government, the government of God. Most of the people who came to the temple on the 25th of Adar to give the share to the Porters of the temple were ministers of ministers.

By Pentecost the whole nation would be organized into the tens, fifties, hundreds and thousands and new porters would be found amongst the best ministers of ministers. These were servant ministers so these benefactors who did not exercise authority one over the other were the best servants of servants and the new porters of the temple.

They would need new porters or moneychangers who were honest because King Jesus fired the porters of the temple with his little string whip.

The whole world has gone whoring after the governments of Nimrod, Babylon the great, instead of seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

If you want to repent and seek the Kingdom of God you need to actually do just that.

Every one should be participating in a CORE if you really want to seek the kingdom. And contributing according to the virtue God grants you. This means not being slothful in the ways of God including attending to the Weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith which include caring for the needs of our neighbors and the widows and orphans of our society through Pure Religion in matters of health, education, and welfare. We are NOT to provide for the needy of society through the Covetous Practices and the men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority one over the other like the socialists do.

The Way of Christ was like neither the way of the world of Rome nor the governments of the gentiles who depend on those fathers of the earth through force, fear and fealty who deliver the people back in bondage again like they were in Egypt. Christ's ministers and true Christians do not depend upon systems of social welfare that force the contributions of the people like the corban of the Pharisees which made the word of God to none effect. Many people have been deceived to go the way of Balaam and the Nicolaitan and out of The Way of Christ and have become workers of iniquity.

The Christian conflict with Rome in the first century Church appointed by Christ was because they would not apply to the fathers of the earth for their free bread but instead relied upon a voluntary network providing a daily ministration to the needy of society through Faith, Hope, and Charity by way of freewill offerings of the people, for the people, and by the people through the perfect law of liberty in Free Assemblies according to the ancient pattern of Tuns or Tens as He commanded.

The modern Christians are in need of repentance.

"Follow me!" —Jesus the Christ.

If you want to know more about Adar and the tax day of Babylon or the Kingdom of God and the Perfect law of liberty.

You can read Alfred Edersheim's book The Temple or the Mishnah or several other references which I cannot recall at the moment. Just Google Adar and Moneychangers.

Jesus had taken the kingdom, the government, from the Pharisees as he said he would. And because it was run by the highest son of David, another king one Jesus, it had to be supported by Freewill offerings. That takes a certain kind of person. That takes doers of the word, not hearers only.

  1. Matthew 20:25-26 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them. But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
Mark 10:42-43 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them. But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
Luke 22:25-26 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
