Amorite Amalekite

The Amorite were said to be a tall[1] people who lived in the mountains described in Genesis 10:16 and a as descendant of Canaan, the son of Ham and may have been healthier than the lowland Canaanites but still suffering from oppression.

The Amorite[2] and Amalekites[3] posses as a common source and ideas with a complimentary theme.

The fundamental practice are in line with Cain and his city-state, Nimrod and his Babylon, Pharaoh and his Egypt and of coarse the Corban of Herod and the Pharisees.

Like Sodom, these systems not only fail to strengthen the poor and also become snare and a trap that returns the people to the bondage of Egypt as human resources and will curse children.

The vows that bind

The word ‘Emoriy (אֲמֹרִי)‎ from which we get Amorite[2] is believed by some to be "a patronymic" term "derived from the name of their original lordship" derived from 0559 אָמַר‎ ‘amar to speak or avow one self.[4]

Genesis 14:7 "And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which [is] Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar."

There are rabbinical interpretations that clearly promoting that the etymology of Amalek suggests 'a people who lick (blood)'.[5]

The people who lick blood also establish the cities of blood[6] as their appetite grows for the blood of others.

Some suggest the word perhaps means "mountain dwellers," but it would seem the term represent people who become a mountain or collective nation by way of a vow or a league.[4]

Bite and lick

They get a right to bite one another and lick blood within a civil society because they entice the people to consent[7] to the cauldron where they lurk privily for the blood of the innocent.[8]

They were believed to be just east of Canaan and beyond the Jordan river. Some will say they were "dispossessed by the Israelite incursion from Egypt". But the archeological record suggests these people like the Canaanites were in a bad way because these Amurru worshipped a god named Martu,[9] who was a Mesopotamian with the divine personification undern the influence of under the Sumerian systems of city-states.

They had personal religion but were structured with an influence of the Hammurabi Codes which produced a monarchical hierarchy.

Their political polity included a division of power into three main center which included an assembly of elders, a hereditary ruler of the assembly. There was also a high priest who was the patron of the people as a manager of their social safety net like we saw in Sumer the support of which was codified and legislated through the assembly and enforced by it president.

Documents note that they received compelled offerings in a temple where they worshiped in the Enindabadua, literally the "house where bread portions are baked". So, these temple systems provided the free bread where the people developed an appetite for benefits at the expense of the most industrious. Such covetous practices leads to corruption and the rise of tyrants. These systems were likely a part of the temple complex of Gula which suggests that besides the free bread, they also managed some assistance to their health and safety.

  8. Innocent blood
    • Proverbs 1:7-19 “‭7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. ‭8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: ‭9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. ‭10 My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not. If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: 12 Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: 13 We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: 14 Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse: 15 My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path: 16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood. 17 Surely in vain the net is spread in the sight of any bird. 18 And they lay wait for their own blood; they lurk privily for their own lives. 19 So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof."
    • Jeremiah 7:6 "[If] ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: 7 Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. 8 Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;"
    • Jeremiah 26:15 "But know ye for certain, that if ye put me to death, ye shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for of a truth the LORD hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears."
