St Thomas Moore, arguing at his trial for refusimg to acknowledge Henry VIII could make himself the head of the Roman Catholic Church of England.

“Some men say the earth is flat. Some men say the earth is round. But if it is flat. Could Parliament make it round? And if it round. Could the king's command flatten it?”

For that refusal he was beheaded.

Not only is our opinion encapable of altering the truth of reality but even government mandates and acts of Congress are powerless to turn a lie into virtue.

To help people having difficulties or disphoria facing reality will require telling them the truth even when they do not want to hear it.

Thomas Moore had been a close friend of the King.
