Summary of Nahum Chapter 2
Something has come that divides and scatters the people[1] which was seen in the story of Nimrod and Babylon.[2] We are warned to watch the way and strengthen our loins.[3] This is done by living by the ways of love, charity, and hope., not force, fear, and fealty under Assyrian contracts which ruins[4] and empties[5] the fruit of vine.[6]
They cast their wealth away[7] and the lion's prey on society.[8] And God will not hear them because they will not hear the cries of one another so that the "the sword shall devour thy young lions".[9]
Without Repentance and a return to a daily ministration of Pure Religion through charity and the perfect law of liberty the people will be devoured and ruined.

- ↑ Nineveh was the capital of Assyria which is associated with Babylon and the bondage of Egypt.
Ninus was in the Recognitions of Clementine's literature and was Nimrod, who taught the Persians to worship fire on their type of Altars of force. In the Hebrew text of Genesis 10, it is Nimrod who in the same Torah verse as naming Ashur or Asuras (Assyria).
