Comforter
It is not our ministers nor even the Church that should be our comforter[1] but that should be the Holy Spirit sent by God to write upon our hearts and upon our minds.
The ministers of God are not a ruler nor a spiritual guru nor a comforter'. Every man should be led by the Holy Spirit in free assemblies in the practice of love, not covetous practices of the world.
The Congregation of God comes together in an organized practice of pure religion according to the command of Christ in the network of tens.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter <3875>, that he may abide with you for ever;
John 14:26 But the Comforter <3875>, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 15:26 But when the Comforter <3875> is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter <3875> will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate <3875> with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
The comforter of Old
In Ecclesiastes 4[2] the author speaks of a lack of a comforter where their oppressors had power. The word for oppress was from nacham[3]
Lamentations also speaks of the absence of the comforter.[4]
David speaks of the RuachHaKodesh which is translated Holy Spirit[5] but is also associated with the Tree of life which we were separated from in the beginning.
