Do you love
If these forums were to be used properly the members would have contacted their minister who would already have intimate knowledge of their situation and needs...
Their minister would have taken the time to get to know all the other ministers and developed relationships of trust and honor.
If there was a need they would have made a discrete request for assistance and could have worked out the details of aid for the needy using that networking.
But many people are not forming congregations.
Why?
They are not taking the time to come together and actually love one another. They remain a scattered flock and Dry Bones
The Church has paid for medical bills, mortgage payments, provided shelter, food, personal counseling, emergency aid, travel expenses and provided health aid and care for people in congregations and others who warranted assistance.
If people were to become beloved members of a congregation aid would flow... shelter, aid or food could be provided as needed... also other benefits more numerous than can be listed... There are all sorts of possibilities.
I usually do not give to people on the streets without asking questions because I need to give what is really needed in order to really love.
Love is a responsibility
I do not think many people on these Network forums understand kingdom principles very well nor what real Christians use to do...
Everyone should step back and think about how did the early Church do things?? How did Christians survive the decline and fall of the Roman Empire...? How did Israel bind itself as a nation in a hostile world as the nation of God?
That is what we should be doing and use our talent, time or things to produce the fruits of faith that Christ requires or we should expect not to be heard by God or His people...
We or our parents have become a Surety for debt.
It is our fault.
STOP blaming others.
The system is a One purse system which is bankrupt.
That would make you as a former beneficiary a Surety for debt.
It is the unrighteous Mammon and you are Merchandise.
STOP whining about it.
Forgive that ye may be forgiven.
What we should be about is what Abraham, Moses and Jesus were about.
Creating a system that provides social benefit for the welfare of the people that provides for the needy, strengthens the poor and does so without exercising authority nor diminishing rights.
This is why we gather as one Church under Christ.
To be that fruitful but Peculiar people who bear Fruit in the kingdom at hand.
Someone wrote:
- "I need a local kingdom supporting each other and that is what am trying to create, by meeting with a few men regularly and being the Kingdom to each other, hoping others will desire that also. I do fine the internet is sometimes good for helping offer solutions, as it is troubling when I have no solutions for others or myself."
I have heard others talk about their local little group they are building. They just want to use our network to find more people or in hopes of getting some useful information that will help them and their little Group.
Of course a local congregation is an important element but it falls short ...
That is a part of kingdom but it is not kingdom. The kingdom of God is "a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" Kingdom is not a local congregation or club.
It requires people to help people that are a long way off and may never be able to help them in return. The focus on a local group or congregation is actually anti-kingdom.
Yes we are spread out but some are beginning to see how important it is to find others who actually are seeking the kingdom. They know it is foolish and short-sighted just to seek a local group that can be there for you.
Those who are not seeking the lost sheep with a focus on the kingdom are actually holding back progress toward the kingdom. For any congregation to succeed the people need to care about the others of their congregation as much as themselves. For any Church to conform to the Church established by Christ every congregation will care about other congregations as much as their own.
That caring must be actual action.
People who do not form congregations of record...
Who do not pick a minister who meets with the other ministers in congregation...
Who do not try to help other congregations on a regular and dependable basis...
Are not seeking the kingdom but are burying their talent... and slothful in the ways of Christ.
People need to repent of that thinking and start helping to build a network out of love of God and not merely to gather your friends or buddies to form your own little group. That attitude is what allowed for the inquisition.
That is a Dry Bones approach that does not breathe the life of Christ into much of anything...
If you are on the email groups or have known us for some time and do not connect with a Congregation of Record you are providing testimony that you do not really care about us much.
If you are not contributing something and sharing with your minister of record regularly you are providing evidence that you are not with us.
If your minister of record is not helping Congregations gather in wider convention of congregations then you are clearly not with us.
So why should we help you if you have a need?
Should we help the Slothful?
