JESUS SAID
Since the church by definition and the appointment of Jesus it must propagate the doctrine of Jesus as His Church. Jesus clearly stated Matthew that what you say is irrelevant when compared to what an individual does.[1]
The Doctrine of Jesus makes emphatically clear that people are being foolish if they think they can say they believe in Jesus while they are doing contrary to God's repeated doctrine about coveting in the Old[2] and New Testaments[3]
This essential Doctrine of Jesus is repeated again wit great clarity and u deniable spesicifity in Luke.[4] Jesus makes that without the rock of faith eviden in Peter you faith is built and the ever shifting sand subject to every wind of doctrine.
Jesus also told us parables about foolish virgins who squandered their oil.[5]
Luke 13:25 "When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:" John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth... 39 ¶ And Jesus said, "For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind."
- ↑ Matthew 7:21 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."
- ↑ Exodus 20:[17]Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Deuteronomy 5:21 "Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's."
Jeremiah 6:13 [13]For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
Ezekiel 33:31-33 "[31]And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. [32]And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not. [33]And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
Micah 2:1-3 [1]Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand. [2]And they covet fields, and take them by violence; and houses, and take them away: so they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage. [3]Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil, from which ye shall not remove your necks; neither shall ye go haughtily: for this time is evil.
Habakkuk 2:9-12 [9]Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil! [10]Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul. [11]For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it. [12]Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity! - ↑ Mark 7:20-23 [20]And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. [21]For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, [22]Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: [23]All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
Luke 12:[15] "And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness(4124): for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Luke 16:13-16 [13]No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. [14]And the Pharisees also, who were covetous(5366), heard all these things: and they derided him. [15]And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. [16]The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
Romans 1:29, 2 Corinthians 9:5, Ephesians 4:19, Ephesians 5:3, Colossians 3:5, 1 Thessalonians 2:5, 2 Peter 2:3, 14
- ↑ Luke 6:46 "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great."
- ↑ Matthew 25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
