Witchcraft as an English term first appears in the King James Bible in 1 Samuel 15:23 [1]
But it is translated from the Hebrew word qecem[2] but may be translated divination and is also from kesheph as a noun[3] or as a verb[4] and often associated with iniquity <0205> and idolatry <08655>.
In the New Testament we see the words sorcery and witchcraft from the Greek word pharmakeia[5]
