The Free Church Report
The Free Church Report presents a unique path for the modern Church according to the nature of the first century Church by explaining the duty and purposes of that institution appointed by Christ. While Rome declined under runaway inflation, corrupt government, martial law, and endless threats of war, the Christians found an alternative to the men who “called themselves benefactors but exercised authority one over the other.”
The early Christian knew rights and responsibilities were indivisible. They sought the right to be ruled by God by taking back their responsibility, through the service of “called out” ministers who lived in the world, but were not of it. Their government benefits came through a divine network instituted in their hearts and minds by faith, hope, and charity under the perfect law of liberty as their Qorban of the unrighteous mammon failed the Roman society. Skype access
This conference call service allows direct access using Skype. This can allow Skype users to call in directly and can save money on long distance or cell phone minutes.
Connecting directly via Skype:
Before the call, add a contact to your Skype "Contacts" list. The Skype ID for this contact is "freeconferencecallhd.5597261300". You should receive a very fast approval and it will appear in your "Contacts" list. Once it's there you can connect just like making any other Skype call.
There is one twist. In order to join the call, you need to enter the Access Code of "321346#" once you're connected. But when you are connect this way there is no keypad evident to press the buttons. To make the keypad appear, go to the "Call" menu at the top of the screen and select "Show Dial Pad". Then you can enter the Access Code.
The other thing to be aware of is that it seems the conference call service doesn't always accept Skype calls.
- Sometimes the contact status will show as "Offline" and you will not be able to connect.
- Sometimes the contact status will show as "Offline", yet you WILL still be able to connect (even though "Voice message" appears).
- Sometimes the contact status will show as "Online" and you can connect.
- And sometimes you can connect but the call will drop.
The wonders of technology... Calling in using the telephone number is still the most reliable way. Until we find a more reliable Skype conference service, this is the best we have.
