From tiny misconceptions great misunderstandings may grow.

We think of a citizen as if they are all the same but they are not.

Then we read translations and make assumptions about people like Paul and his citizenship.

Was Paul a Roman?
Was Paul a Roman Citizen or was he Free?
http://www.hisholychurch.org/sermon/paulroman.php

Paul was not a Roman citizen like people in America are US citizens.

Christ was preaching a message that was hard to receive and most modern Christians would reject Christ if they understood what he was saying to do.

Bottom line is we were told to seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
The kingdom was there when Christ came. The kingdom of God is not where you go when you die. The kingdom is to be from generation to generation.

Daniel 4:3 How great [are] his signs! and how mighty [are] his wonders! his kingdom [is] an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion [is] from generation to generation.
Exodus 17:16 For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn [that] the LORD [will have] war with Amalek from generation to generation.

Amalek is from the word למע ‘amal translated labour, take, mischief, misery, travail, trouble, sorrow, grievance, grievousness, iniquity, miserable, pain, painful, perverseness, toil, wearisome, wickedness... Everyone willing to force their neighbor to labor so that they can have benefits like free public school or health care is an Amalek.

The kingdom was there in Judea but they had followed the pernicious and covetous ways of the Amalek. Most Americans and people of the world have more in common with the Amaleks. than they do with the early Christians..

Matthew 21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Jesus was going to take it away from them and appoint it to others who repented.

Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

And that is what he did.

Luke 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

The early Christians did not pray to the Fathers of the earth for their daily bread.

Acts 17:7 Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, [one] Jesus.

Early Christians knew Christ was king.

The kingdom is at hand. It is for the living.

Luke 20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

We are not to pray to men who call themselves benefactors but who exercise authority for our daily bread or their benefits. Modern Christians do all the time.

They do not understand the Christian conflict with Rome.

Luke 22:25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

We have returned to the mire because we lack knowledge. They have sold themselves slaves...

“Labour was the first price, the original purchase-money that was paid for all things. It was not by gold or by silver, but by labour, that all wealth of the world was originally purchased.”[1]

In colonial America, “The ordinary citizen, living on his farm, owned in fee-simple, untroubled by any relics of Feudalism, untaxed save by himself, saying his say to all the world in townmeetings, had gained a new self-reliance. Wrestling with his soul and plow on week days, and the innumerable points of the minister’s sermon on Sundays and meeting days, he was becoming a tough nut for any imperial system to crack.”[2]

On the other hand citizens of the United States do not own their own land today. They have at best only a legal title which does not include “ownership of an estate” since it carries “no beneficial interest.”[3]

We are not serving one another but taking a bite out of one another.

Galatians 5:15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

Our coveting demand for benefits has cursed our children with debt.

2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

The truth is the constitution was the same rejection of God we see in 1 Samuel 8
http://www.preparingyou.com/wiki/1_Samuel_8#1_Samuel_8:10

That was bad enough but since then we have eaten with great appetite at the table of rulers and through covetousness we have been made merchandise regulated in equity.

Jesus had the power of a king but gave that power back to the people.

2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

They want to think Christ has to come back while they say daily they have no king but Caesar...

Rome vs. US
Does history repeat itself because man does not repent? http://www.hisholychurch.org/news/articles/romeus.php

People need to start thinking about actually doing what Christ said. They need to gather together in His name which means according to His Character and not like Amaleks and Nimrod.
