For this Reason it is always observable, that those who are combined to destroy the People’s Liberties, practice every Art to poison their Morals.”
The greatest enemy of "Virtue and Knowledge" is the dainties from the tables of welfare offered by rulers which David and Paul said were a snare and a trap.
Such systems of legal charity take away the sight of the people as well as their liberty.
The greater the appetite the ore they are ruined.
